😀 Julie's reaction is exactly like mine when someone offers me beer! 😄 Julie: "I could personally do without any of them." That would be something I would say. I never liked the smell or taste of beer. I never understood the fascination with beer. I occasionally have a glass of wine, but that's it when it comes to alcoholic drinks. Anyway, the majority of Serbs I know would choose Lav beer. Love the video!
Excuse me? No one that remotly loves beer wouldnt drink Lav or Jelen (they were good back in a day but they arent anymore). Best common ones are Niksicko and Zajecarsko (Tuborg is ok but not in a league of these two)
Great fun video! Can you describe the beers as larger, ale, IPA, etc. possibly with light, full flavored/bodied, fruit or spice you might taste. Thanks for putting these videos out.
For me Jelen is best for all year round, whilst Lav is refreshing in the Summer. Not a great lover of Zajrcarsko. All now owned by external companies. Jelen - Molson Coors (Canadian/American) Lav - Carlsberg (Danish) Zajrcarsko - Heineken (Dutch) Fun episode - thanks 😊
Julie, I think you are enjoying the cooler weather there vs Ecuador. I say this because of your hair and clothing style, which I must say, I like it...
You gotta visit Red Cow Irish Pub, while in Novi Sad. Great Beers and atmosphere. P.S. Zajecarsko is spelled in cyrillic alphabet so that might be the case you have dificulty pronouncing it. So give this a try "Zahyecharsko".
Julie I love you beer tasting facial expressions, priceless! Warren, here are some tips for future tastings: Do not taste new beers with food or soon after eating. The lingering flavors from food can greatly affect your impression of the brew. Cleanse your palate with water. Crackers or cheese are fine but you should remember that even these foods can affect the apparent flavors of the beer. If you're tasting a number of different beers, let the color be your guide. It is best to taste from light to dark. Just sayin'
Excellent.. How long are you staying in Serbia..? Would interesting to see more videos about renting and purchasing properties in Novi Sad and area around.. Thx
If you are a beer lovers, go to the Samo pivo bar in Belgrade which means Just beer bar, and ask them to recommend the best craft beers from Serbia, you will be delighted, I guarantee you
You need to try Serbian National drink .. Schljivovica ( шљивовица) ... it is a Plum Brandy .. just make sure you don’t drink more than ONE shot .. otherwise instead of walking you will be crawling 🙉..
Cool, I liked each of them. Not sure about Jelen only being the best seller in Vojvodina, in Wikipedia it had Jelen and Lav as the top sellers en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_in_Serbia
Ha ha I think Julie will start to like beer eventually 😄 Enjoyed this video have a great time both! Cheers! 🍺
