      Well said…..it’s so easy to arm chair him….first of all he has absolutely no legs….. the new way of swinging is the squat down and explode up….thats why these young cats are having injuries so young(watch Rory in the next 5 or 6 yrs) Tiger has made a whole new swing that really all uppers body and I saw his ball speed is over 175 a lot …..im only watching Tiger…,once he’s finished I turn it off….im not watching the LIV crybabies….. if he wasn’t playing I wouldn’t be watching…. And I can’t stand Paul McGinley!….

      Which is why he took so much time off from playing tournaments. Trying to get in shape for this specific tournament. It's a rough gig but I understand it completely. Augusta is a beast to play well, most people just don't get that. You absolutely have to bring your A game. @@yepdontcarebud

    • @Allaluca
      @Allaluca 8 месяцев назад +16

      in terms of physicality, I would say more like 50% of his former self...in his prime he was muscling out and attacking greens from insanely heavy rough and tight lies where no one else could, everyone else on tour would just punch out or lay up from those spots except Tiger 💪

    • @showcasecharlie11
      @showcasecharlie11 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@Allaluca Tiger knows his limits these days. He's on film in a fairway woods session with two other pros talking about it. He literally said he practically doesn't use a two iron anymore and uses a 5 wood instead out of heavy rough. That's age and wisdom talking. He can still attack the course, but does it differently at his age knowing he doesn't have the strength to rip through the rough like he use to. It's quite interesting to actually hear his thought process on the course in different areas.

    • @showcasecharlie11
      @showcasecharlie11 8 месяцев назад +8

      @@yepdontcarebud it's only the first round. Probably getting the feel of the greens. I think he needs to play a tad more conservative on his drives and put himself in better position for the approach. Those recovery shots are taking up valuable strokes. Dechamboe cranked out a really impressive first round of 7 under.
