Hes playing on 1 leg with no back at 48 while not playing regularly and some of you still find a way to critique him. You should all feel lucky to be able to witness greatness one more time.
Well said…..it’s so easy to arm chair him….first of all he has absolutely no legs….. the new way of swinging is the squat down and explode up….thats why these young cats are having injuries so young(watch Rory in the next 5 or 6 yrs) Tiger has made a whole new swing that really all uppers body and I saw his ball speed is over 175 a lot …..im only watching Tiger…,once he’s finished I turn it off….im not watching the LIV crybabies….. if he wasn’t playing I wouldn’t be watching…. Which is why he took so much time off from playing tournaments. Trying to get in shape for this specific tournament. It's a rough gig but I understand it completely. Augusta is a beast to play well, most people just don't get that. You absolutely have to bring your A game. @@yepdontcarebud
in terms of physicality, I would say more like 50% of his former self...in his prime he was muscling out and attacking greens from insanely heavy rough and tight lies where no one else could, everyone else on tour would just punch out or lay up from those spots except Tiger 💪
@@Allaluca Tiger knows his limits these days. He's on film in a fairway woods session with two other pros talking about it. He literally said he practically doesn't use a two iron anymore and uses a 5 wood instead out of heavy rough. That's age and wisdom talking. He can still attack the course, but does it differently at his age knowing he doesn't have the strength to rip through the rough like he use to. It's quite interesting to actually hear his thought process on the course in different areas.
@@yepdontcarebud it's only the first round. Probably getting the feel of the greens. I think he needs to play a tad more conservative on his drives and put himself in better position for the approach. Those recovery shots are taking up valuable strokes. Dechamboe cranked out a really impressive first round of 7 under.
@@yepdontcarebud well if we are comparing to prime Tiger, yea I’d say he absolutely no longer has that confidence. Still a very confident golfer, but during his prime years he had a level of competitiveness and confidence only seen in the likes of Jordan and other greats. Tiger was strategic on all his shots even when he appeared to be in the Woods he found the yellow brick road to successfully get out of trouble. Marvelous and a miracle. 😮
I think he was selfish when he crashed his car under the influence. It didn't have to be that way with the injuries and surgeries. He could have easily put 4 to 5 more majors in the bag. It was simply irresponsible. The fans missed out.
Today is a long day for big cat( up at 3am-therapy till 6-range tee off - first round then after hour second round hope he manages...what the weather is? (I am from Europe and don't watch is live)
His father was right; Tiger did change the world. I hope he can find peace and retire before anymore damage to his body occurs. A golf icon. An incredible athlete.
He had to complete his first round this morning, the weather delay from Thursday morning pushed tee times back and he wasn’t able to complete his round before dark, so he had to finish it this morning.
Imagine if his body hadn't experienced the trauma at this age there wouldn't be a wasted shot or put because he wouldn't make the same mistakes because his body would be fine tuned with his knowledge of the course
Dang I even said 2 days before the masters started he'd shoot +1 first round. 😅😅 should've found a prop bet. I don't usually sports bet but tiger never starts these majors well. It's always even or +1 or +2
I just tuned on ESPN to watch the Masters. I'm trying to figure out why they are filming players practicing and showing quick glimpses of players on the course, yet isn't going to show live play until 3pm. Why not just show it now instead of all this filler leading up to 3pm?
Augusta greens are a beast... very fast and if you're not careful, you will fly right on by. Very easy to 3 putt or worse. The average player who isn't a pro would be lucky to break a 100...what these guys are posting is a testament to their skills.
It was the worst thing that could happen for him. Finishing last 5 holes early in the morning is the worst thing for him because of his body. His body cannot work well in early in the morning. I don’t understand why the Masters made him to tee off very late on the first round

Let me know when there is a highlight.
Let's get one more Masters victory, Tiger! I believe he can do it!
Your might be waiting a while
To think, he’s probably only playing with about 70% physicality of his former prime, is simply mind boggling. What a legend.
No where near 70%, he's still shredded.. but man is that body beat up.

Left almost every putt short. Crazy!!
A way way more conservative Tiger that we've seen in the past. Wonder if the confidence just isn't there.

His ability to scramble is unparalleled
4:28 great angle on this low drawing punch. Love it,
and he probably played the bunker intentionally, even if not. up and down. me.. 3 shots to get out of the bunker after 4 shots to get into the bunker

I’m not a big golf fan but I will tune in to watch tiger 🐅 woods
Always a pleasure to see Tiger play. What a shame he had this car accident.
The lifestyle got to him.
The lifestyle got to him.
I watch golf only when Tiger Woods is playing, and I’m happy he is playing well.
Tiger Woods #1 WE LOVE YOU! BEST GOLFER on earth!
I hope Augusta implement the tracers on tee and approach shots, all the shot shaping wich goes in it would just be worth having Trackman tech
Suprisingly, many puts fell short.
When he is a living golf legend, most important thing is, that he plays at Masters. Ppl come to watch him.
10:45 somebody really liked this shot 😅
😂😂thought the same
I hope he has a strong weekend and contends!!

Tiger made the cut following round 2 today!! LETS GO TIGER!!
VAMOSSSS TIGERRRR una vez más de ROJO 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏saludos desde Uruguay
Having to come back in the morning really hurt. Some sloppy bogeys that he doesn't normally make.
I mean he doesn't normally even play so ide say he's doing just fine
The GOAT! He is a magician with any club in hand.
Masters coverage on their website and RUclips clips are light years ahead of other majors.
They aren’t greedy either
U Can Do It Tiger😊

Excellent up and down on #11. 12 safe play over the green.
Please start adding tracers to these videos.
Just played 18 myself, was patiently waiting to watch this video
Golf is so difficult, crazy respect
Keep it up masters!! This coverage and website is honestly light years away than any other major... Just need to incorporate shot tracing.
1:45 looks so trippy, almost like the course and the crowd are green-screened
Would appreciate if the score was displayed as per norm. Hole number, par, players score, shot number.
Bottom left
So glad all the stuff Tiger and o have been working on is paying off
love tiger wood & every His shoot
The only way to watch golf
Almost prefer watching him after all the surgeries as it’s easy to visualize myself swinging the same than Prime Tiger
Just happy to see him play
That bunker shot was amazing 😮
At this point, Day is simply trolling with those pants.
Hammer Time!
Day's pants are fire
He is so great!
This proves that strength is the last thing to leave your body. He was over shooting a lot of them shots and it looked like it surprised him.
Putting and driving distance was great.
If Tiger can be just a little more aggressive, he will eat the course up. I have a feeling he wanted to protect to much, rather than be attacking.
やっぱりタイガーは最高!
That was a nice recovery on the 2nd hole
The GOAT is getting old but still the GOAT... or TIGER in this case lol ❤
It would be nice to have the running score against par on these highlights.
This guy short game so strong

Shot tracer looks cheezy. They got cameras and cameramen that can follow the ball from club to landing.

We need to get tracers on our key and featured groups olease
Interesting. Many approach shots were long, and many putts were short.
He's still just Perfect. 🔥🔥
The Fairway is very nice.
He seems to be in pain. What keeps him going is the love of the sport
He’s limping towards the back 9 but he looks determined. Putting decent on the shorter puts but over 10 feet he has to hit it
Must admit i only watch because of tiger..
We give the 2024 Golf Masters to Tiger Woods to win it again by 13 strokes under (-13) !!!
see on the 12th ,the pain was kicking in..
16th hole putt hurt me what a legend of history

Give it up Eldrick. You're 11 over after 3 rounds. You are only embarrassing yourself by still playing. Enough already....

Legit question - when Tiger hit lefty out of that tree trunk, does he reserve one left handed rescue club in his bag just for situations like this?
No, he just flips the club face around
Just missing shot tracers, otherwise coverage is epic 👍
0:58 did he just do a left handed shot?
Incredible how the greens are giving him a hard time just to lag it to a few feet.

Not a bad round all things considered
Wind wreaked havoc.

He can also birdie a hole without a divot. That's got to tell ya something.
Tiger scored decent to have made several small errors. But game looks well. Errant tee shot on three cost at least a stoke or two.
