    • @outlander234
      @outlander234 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@Getofftheinternet6969 Key word seems. There is no way some casual is pushing through the rough deep enough with 5 wood to lift the ball sufficiently. They are going to top it 99% of times. These guys are pros for a reason.

      @Getofftheinternet6969 8 месяцев назад +5

      @mrfatuchi we watch pros to get better. Depending on lie I've seen casuals hit 5wood out of bunker. Take tips and tricks, try it out have fun. Or stay mediocre and bitter until old age

    • @KevinSheedy10
      @KevinSheedy10 8 месяцев назад +7

      I think you under estimate the quality of shots that lots of amateurs can hit. Loads of the guys I play with can hit those shots, they maybe just do it 5 or 6 times out of 10 rather than 8 out of 10

    • @outlander234
      @outlander234 8 месяцев назад

      @@Getofftheinternet6969 Bitter? Why would I be bitter? My point was that shot is not easier which is not even pros use it often. How can a 5 wood be easier to hit than 7 iron out of rough when 7 is much easier to hit than 5 wood on the range?

    I've been playing golf for 25 years and am blown away by the amount of data these guys are mentally processing on any given shot. That first shot. 265 yards to the front of the green. 275 to the pin. Downwind. The only thing I'm thinking of is "don't hit it into the left bunker" but in reality I don't even need to worry about that since even if I nuke my 3 wood, I'm still coming up way short 😆

    I love that that since his gotten a little older tiger has lightened up a bit and opened up a bit and started having fun an enjoying his time and participating in things like this with other players. Basically just finally allowing all of us to get a little peek at the real tiger and I’m here for it man. As someone that literally grew up watching tiger and seeing what a fierce competitor he was and that he would NEVER have done stuff like this back then, so it’s awesome to see this now. Like I said I grew up with him as I was 13 when he won his first ever major, at the 1997 Masters, and I’ve been right there following him ever since!! But with how his dad raised him and trained him to be, he absolutely would not have ever hung out and been all friendly with these guys, who are his competitors, back then. So it’s very cool to get to turn on RUclips and see him out here with other Pros on Taylormade staff, making awesome clinic and practice tips videos and exhibitions. I love it.

    That 5w openfaced punch shot out of the rough is incredible. I swear I'll be trying that, I kinda feel the shot. Tiger just doens't stop bringing value to Golfers World.

    Man, I love Scottie. So humble and yet such a premiere ball striker. Consistency is boring but it wins championships. Good golf is boring but makes for exciting scorecards.

    Wonderful to see them demonstrate some shots out of the rough with artistry and creativity and unpack some of the decision making. Golf isn’t just hitting bombs into greens from fairway lies, despite a lot of online content these days leading you to believe

    Tigers woods presence on a course is crazy. Like everyone in a way can feel he is there like some Jedi power. Rory said this a while ago and it’s so true

    What an opportunity to listen to 3 top players discussing various shots. Of course, when they are hitting 260 yard 5-woods, I convert it to 215 yard shots. More please!

    I also 'chip' out of the rough from 170 yards with a 5 wood.....and by 'chip' I mean melting it with every ounce of strength I have in my whole body just to top it 80 yards and then shank a wedge immediately afterwards

    Actually useful advice here even for casual golfers like me. Hitting a punch shot with a wood seems easier than a long iron shot from the rough

    How fricken cool is that… The big cat giving lessons to two of the top players in the world and they are like little kids hanging on every word. Taught them a new shop a little chippy 5 wood from the rough from 170 😂😂😂😂

    Scotty really understands what Tiger is doing, now we all know why Scottie is such a great ball striker, but I think both Scottie and Tommy learned something about hitting shots out of the rough with a fairway wood.
