That's so funny! I'm about to go on a trip to Rumbling Bald and I just got my oil change to make this message go away. I got the change and it's still on, so I looked around and found this. SMALL WORLD!
You forget to mention that resetting the service interval like this instead of the official way you AUTOMATICALLY change the service intervals from flexible ( aka oil quality) to fixed ( 15000 km) so basically you are fooling yourself by heaving to change oil more often, and as a side note till that ignoring oil change warnings by just resetting them this way without doing the service will cost you plenty later on 😂

That was helpful. My Passat was saying "Service in 19 days" and kept on counting down the days. Didn't know why it was doing that.

What is the purpose of resetting? I thought it was a reminder to get your car fixed or serviced
