I really miss his long hair but when I close my eyes it's the same Geoff Tate His voice is as strong as ever and he has a great stage presence Still one of the greatest rock voices ever
@@stevebroad8804 I am checking his European dates and will try and catch him this year. It makes me very happy to see him have so much fun on stage again.
When I was a kid I thought Geoff was untouchable but I’ve been watching every live performance I can find and he never delivered one song like he did on the album. It’s like he’s a cover singer for the studio guy hit nowhere near the studio guy. That saddens me.
I saw the original group 5 times through the 90s and early 2000s for Mindcrime 1&2. You are correct. The delivery live is not the same as the recordings. It bothered me at first. But, they put so much energy into the performance the recordings sound bland and homogeneous by comparison. I'd love to have another chance to see the original group live. 😐
great quality. he sounds fabulous and the band is on point as always! it's nice seeing it from this angle since i was up above on the right and couldn't see Jack and Amaury most of the time
Cmon dont dress the kid like DeGarmo, thats BS. Hat and all huh? He can't fill those shoes, nor should you want him too. What you all should be doing is setting your egos aside, reforming Queensryche with original members, remembering when you were friends and loved music, make a billion dollars touring and merch, and give the fans what they deserve. Everyone wins, sound good?
Geoff hits the notes like he’s still 30 years old….amazing! This has always been one of my favorite Ryche songs!!!

Watching from Ireland
I'm surprised there's not more comments. He sounds really good!
Geoff sounds amazing
Yep, I saw him Feb 29th in Daytona Beach. Took my daughter and she was amazed. What a great show. Don't miss it if it comes to your area.

@@alexmarek5410 I hope you get to see it. Where in Europe?
amazing
Yes sounds good especially after all these years
Tuned down but still pretty good
He's lost some more weight since I saw him last september. This sounded really good.
Tate and the band were hitting on all cylinders
Hay que saber retirarse a tiempo...por qué se separaron ?
Geoff and the guitar players are great....drummer is lame tho.
