Thank you very much for the share that you did on my channel I’m so touched
I think the more folks who subscribe to your channel will appreciate your style and presentation.
There is nothing better in my opinion than listening to the older generation who have lots of knowledge and street smarts. Your one of those people
Thank you for the detailed views
Our pleasure!
Next time please measure the angle of the blade relative to the shoe and the angle between the fence and the blade. If these are not exact this will contribute to blade wear. Also if not correct can a shim be added to make it square.
Thanks for chiming in
Thank you. I just got the saw today. Looking forward to using it.
Ahh nice and what was the decision maker, what persuaded you to make this purchase and brand?
@@StevenLarkin I shopped on the internet for the best cordless power tools and dewalt fit my requirements. Last week I got the dewalt cordless impact driver and drill plus batteries and charger
I am a converted DEWALT tool guy now :)
Thanks for your review just getting started on making my own workshop at 22! This video helped thank you.
Oh man you are welcome.
...”I weigh 200 none of your business pounds...” 😁😂🤣. This guy is a scream! Entertaining in an unusual way. Don’t underestimate this guy, as he is able to turn the DCS 570 into a left handed blade saw! 🤔😲😁😂 Not sure what we’re reviewing here, or what we’re doing here, but...Stay safe and Healthy. 😁🇺🇸
Have yourself a great day dude : )
Thank you for this video! The "B" at the end of DCS570B is for "bare tool" (no battery, charger, or case)
Cool, thanks
Great vid Steve for a battery job it works well I’ve changed from Makita to ryobi now look forward to a follow up after you’ve had chance to put it through its paces
Hey thanks Barney! I also am looking forward to putting the various battery/s through a good workout.
That I know of, I do not have any immediate jobs that will provide a good robust workout for this tool.
Don't be afraid to buy non DeWalt branded batteries. The ones I've bought are half the price and just as good.
hmmmm ... please advise where I can purchase non DeWALT batteries
I have the two 8 amp xr batteries and they will make this saw rip through pressure treated 2x8s like notebook paper.
That's great to hear! I only have 2 - 4 amp battery/s
I do know that these battery's are not cheap : (
The more amps the more money... that being said if I used these tools for a living, hands down I would have the higher amp battery's
Steven Larkin if your gonna do any-type of large/complex projects u should definitely look into it.
I agree 💯 ! But they are so expensive $$$$$
You didn’t cut anything with the 2amp

I want to personally thank you and I hope you enjoy your journey In the Woodshop
NICE VIDEO STEVEN AND NICE CIRCULAR SAW. I JUST PICKED ONE UP LAST WEEK BUT I GOT A SKILLSAW FOR 79 BUCKS CORDED DO YOU KNOW IF THAT ONE IS JUST AS GOOD OR HAVE YOU HEARD SOMETHING ELSE. THANKS. ALSO HAVE YOU THOUGHT IN INVESTING IN SOME HORSES TO HOLD YOUR WOOD THEY GOT SOME GOOD ONE IN HOME DEPO I SAW THE CRAFTSMON FOR 20 BUCKS .
Hello Gino and thanks for chiming in : )
I think ones budget is what drives the purchase decisions.
I still believe you pay for what you get. That being said i'm sure you made the right decision.
I have purchased cheaper tools and found that they can get the job done.
I have purchased more expensive tools and find there are more options and generally are stronger and last longer.
My overall experience is spending more money (if your budget allows) is the better way to go.
Appreciate the video, but one request on your viewers behalf - Please don't use that mirror effect. It's probably some recording software setting, like "flip" or "copyright protection". Everything you showed us is reversed including labels, the tool and your movements operating the tool. At first glance, anyone watching would think this saw is a blade-left instead of the blade-right design.
Hey Alien Echos,
You are correct and sorry about that. I was using the from facing camera so I could actually see if I was centered in the camera and capturing the important parts.
I can't tell you how many times I got done with an episode and thought... Man that was GREAT!!! Then I review it, have to delete it and (if possible) start over again.
Out of the 800+ videos I have done not many are face fronting captures.
and the other suggestion is to mount the camera for which 95 percent of the time these days I do.
Being a one man show and having wood working at nights and weeks ends really cuts back on the amount of time I can play with videos. But I am listening to you all and making changes the best I can.
Thanks again for your input
DCS570B I think the B means bare tool nothing else.
the left-right is mixed up...
????
@@StevenLarkin Try reading the inscriptions on your video.
You flipped the video? And you didn’t even bother to check the video before you uploaded it to RUclips.
Hey thanks for pointing that out.
Back then I was front facing with my phone to take videos. Did not think much of it until another individual such as your self pointed this out.
I have since then abandoned the idea of front facing the phone.
Take care and thanks for taking the time to comment
