I lived in Osaka almost three years. It is the most under rated and under talked about world class city in the world. I loved walking around Umeda, Dotonburi, Tennoji, Kyobashi and Osaka jou. I will take my family there next month when we stay in Kyoto for a few days. Thanks for sharing Yoshi.
Osaka people are more outgoing, friendly and adventurous but some Tokyo people say they are too assertive, aggressive and vulgar... 😄😄😄 But I think it all depends on how you see things and I'm glad you see them in the positive way! Thank you so much for watching!
@@VSV_Japan They did tell me that in Japanese films criminals are often given Osaka accents. Which seemsa bit mean. And they did laugh at my attempts to use chopsticks,, but it was laughing 'with' rather than laughing 'at' - And I was often just given a spoon eventually. :)
How I miss Osaka! I used to come to Umeda every now and then even though I liked the other side of Osaka better but Umeda is really a special place! My favorite store is there lol (I bet you know which one I mean!!)
Thank you thank you thank you!! This was pure Umeda magic! Can't wait to see that huge construction site grow also (On the other side of the road/station) you see in the end of the video! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and that makes me feel so rewarded! When the construction completes I will go back and shoot another video! Thank you so much for watching! 😄

Wow! What an amazing tour you've given us, my friend! You began by the green bear and took us back to the same place. So many shops, so many restaurants and izakayas, so many delicious pastries. People everywhere. Activity. I enjoyed from beginning to end. 🤩 You walked A LOT! Thank you so much for all your efforts to make us feel as if we were walking by your side. 🤗 Take care!
I'm glad you enjoyed this video. Here is a little trivia behind the scene. > I started shooting this video in front of the green bear and walked the route I planned in advance. When I came to the Hep Five intersection @ 17:46 and was waiting for the traffic light, I realized that my camera was NOT rolling!!! My face turned blue and hurried back to the green bear and started shooting again! That was really horrible! 😄
@@VSV_Japan Oh! 😲 Horror! I can imagine how you felt in that moment! 17 minutes walking for nothing! Well, you solved the inconvenience wisely. That makes the video more valuable. 👍🏻☺️🤗 Now that you mention it, I found it strange that you didn't take a long shot of the spinning wheel from ground level. 🤔
This is a sound for the visually impaired. Even visually impaired people will be notified by sound so that they can understand when the signal changes. Of course people are allowed to go outside because if not, it'd be against the constitution. Our government can only ask people to stay home and doesn't have such strong power to force them like other countries lock down the whole city with penalty. This is a very difficult point. They have issued a state of emergency several times but people are getting used to it. Besides, they have allowed Olympics to start. Personally I don't think they are successfully controlling the crowd. Some people have started talking about the need for the government to have much stronger power but there are other people worry about dictatorship. Because if our government changed to be that way, they think it may be the end of the democracy.
