The thing that always strikes me about these Japan walking around videos is when you see small children just walking around unattended. It's so safe that people don't worry about letting their kids walk around, like how American cities used to be in the 50s. Must be nice to be able to enjoy all the benefits of a big city without the crime, trash, and homeless people everywhere.
Nostalgic. Used to walk those streets in the day and night time when I lived there. It is very safe and everyone is respectful. Kind of help clears the head after a busy day of work just to walk those streets.
Geoff Taylor I actually help people get to Japan, so if you’re interested in learning the language and possibly building a new life there, I highly recommend going through a language program first. Such a treat walking down any of those streets and all the pleasant little businesses and other hidden treasures you get to see and not a single worry of getting brutally mugged or stabbed just for wondering around at night. Tokyo is amazingly safe and clean.
@Roy Rogers very untrue. Those cities are very unsafe. Someone is always getting mugged or robbed, there are just so many people that it is unlikely to happen to you specifically.
Japan and its culture are so well known, respected, admired and popular in the world. But they still seem so mysterious to the outside viewer, thats remarkable.
Everyone is commenting how Japan cities look so disciplined, clean and luxurious. Me: Props to the guy walking for an hour with a camera rig on his body. (And, yes, I really like how the people are so disciplined and the traffic so good as well)

@@study-in-japanalexiainc.8289 Hey, thanks for recommending. I only learnt some very basic Japanese during university. What if I could work there teaching Chinese or English for primary or whom wants to learn these language. Is that possible?
Jaymz Cheong You could teach there, but the visa requirement for teaching is you have to have had studied in a country for 12 years of the language you wish to teach. In other words, if you want to teach English that means your home country’s main language should be English.
Jaymz Cheong You could do photography if a company hires you, but 99% of companies will only hire people who are already living in Japan. In other words, in order to enter the country and live there your best bet would be to enter as a student first.

Japan and tokyo is clean :)
It’s just Japanese standard!! This is quite normal here.
There public toilet is even cleaner than the 5 star hotel in ny or LA.

Why is it tough living below the poverty line in this city in particular? Just curious not trying to say it isnt.
I went to Japan last december. The respect the people have for others and the cleanliness really stood out. Also felt very safe.
Even in the most sketchy areas in this city, there is nearly zero danger. Its crazy!
Pls how cna U travel there? people look so reach and beautiful

Both the countryside and the cities of Japan really look amazing, well balanced
I love how Japan train stations have the barrier to prevent people from jumping on the tracks
Thank you! This is the best medicine for 6 months at home due to COVID. This is a holiday without it being a 'holiday'. Keep safe.
