One of these days they will offer a ''Travel chip'' a chip that goes into your arm , pre-programmed to any place you want to travel and do what ever you want to do there. Your trip feels like a week but really your only out for 10 hours.
I lived in Osaka from 1990-99. This captures exactly what it feels like to walk from Namba-Dotonbori to Umeda at night! I appreciate the update to help me remember.
One thing that I really love about Japanese cities is that they embrace the idea of the second (or third) story from a retail perspective, rather than insisting on 1st level space sometimes they develop those other floors with large windows and signage and people in those businesses can drink coffee or eat dinner while enjoying a great view of the city.
@17:35 I love how you paused in front of those kids and there was a standoff where you ended up having a staring contest with everyone before being let through. Music made it that much better. another day in the life of Rambalac.
I used to make this exact walk. Day time and a night time. Sometimes via bicycle. For nearly five years, this little corridor was my home. So many memories locked on these streets. Your videos are this strange yet earnest take on something I don’t think many people would get. The internet is a strange but wonderful place sometimes. Thanks for making this one And all of them
Magnificent again! What an amazing walk video. I love how you did a loop of a section of the river canal and paused in several places there to film those iconic electronic billboards. You pause and scan at just the right moments to give the viewer a better look. Such a contrast between the first part where there were big crowds but in the second part the streets were almost empty. Keep up the great work Rambalac.
I've been lucky enough to visit many, many, many places on this planet. This place was by far the most incredible, inviting, entertaining and exciting place I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I miss you Japan and Osaka. I hope in these troubled times that all is well! I'll see you again in the future, that's a promise! Bar Viento, this is a shout out to you wonderful human beings from myself, Stu and Jan from Liverpool!
Osaka was the first ever city I visited in Japan early this year. And I instantly fell in love! I still can't move on to this day! Love from Malaysia. Fufu
I actually really liked how this one turned out! I especially liked the views down the river with the big lit up buildings on each side. There's so much to do here, so much to see. Thanks for filming this video !
Those retro bikes in the reflections of Tokyo's zillion flawless street lights are perfect..they are way cooler than the new ones..and also the casual clothes people wear..Japan is 500 years ahead, maybe we will eventually catch up one day..thank you..
This is really a great video. A couple of unusual and interesting things here. The first part in Nanba Station has 4-5 foreigners, this is pretty unusual even for one of the main arteries of Osaka. I think I saw maybe 3 the whole time I was in the city. Nanba station is very loud and crowded, but notice how orderly everything is. A fact of life in any Japanese urban area is navigating through tight crowds with a minimum of intrusion, whether one is on bike or foot. This is extremely noticeable in the video. Thanks for the upload, it felt like I was there.
Good evening from Barcelona, Spain it is the first time I write in one of your videos, I have been to Japan twice in May 2005 and more recently in October 2019, I really like this video because Dotonbori is one of the places in Osaka that I visited, it is a pleasure to see the videos of your two RUclips channels, greetings from Spain.
While I have no idea how many people actually live in Japan, it seems that a sizeable portion of that population is in Osaka the evening of this video. I Do love the video, with a wonderful view of some of the city and all those people walking about...Amazing! Looks like a typical day of pedestrian traffic in New York City USA.
I restarted playing it because of this vid lol If I get to tokio later in the game, I will be very careful of not crossing my way with the tall guy that takes away your money lol mr shakedown
I am Japanese. There are many popular town in Osaka. I recommend Umeda, Nanba, USJ (Universal Studio Japan) and Tennoji. In fact, still exists. I am often said that "Where is Umeda?" though that person is near Osaka station. If you are near Osaka station, then you are in Umeda. Roughly saying, Umeda is the biggest town in Japan. I think that Umeda is bigger than Shinjuku which is the biggest town in Tokyo. If you arrive in Umeda, then I am sure that you are moved and definitely say "Awesome!". Other than Umeda, I recommend Tennoji. In Tennoji or near Tennoji station Abenoharukasu exists, which is the highest building in Japan. The height of Abenoharukasu is 300m. You should go to the observatory of Abenoharukasu. Just to let you know, Abeno does not mean Shinzo Abe, but Abeno-ku. And then, eat Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, Chuka-man and Yakisoba. They are very good. When you are eating them, you can say mettya umai. (English is difficult. I am sorry.) All Japanese welcome you.
I went to Osaka to watch the IAAF World Championships in Athletics (2007) and stayed in America Mura at a capsule hotel. Anyway, I met a couple of race walkers that night. They had finished their races and decided to get drunk. lol.
Rambakac, from what I've learned the pop. of Osaka is 2.66 million. Tokyo, 13.61 million, and 127.7 in all of Japan. I've seen a lot of Japanese High School bands perform on RUclips from somewhere in Osaka. Your video of Osaka gave us a wonderful look at some of the city. Well Done!
Watching Rambalac is probably the cheapest way you can travel to Japan.
@AnemoiaZone Free is as cheap as you can get! lol
It's still amazing if you've been to those places. I'd visit Japan again solely for the onigiri and cheap sake at any 7/11 :D
Top Nep same lol
yeah, this vid deserve more like

this videos are too addictive...lol... I have seen most of them and I never get tired.
+man se, lucky, sometimes I get backache after that. But I got nicely shaped biceps.
@@Rambalac Ahh. An oh, so honest and humble reply. I love it! I had a good chuckle.
I know...! It's really vivid to see.
No talking, no background music, just pure video, that's how it should be - amazing work 😊
I agree!
42:30 Check out that sky. Beautiful.

Thanks for making this one
And all of them
I was amazed when I first came to Osaka from visiting Tokyo so many times. The noticeable difference in personality among Japanese really surprised me
what a beautiful city
The colours are magnificent. I love Osaka. I wish I could jump on a plane and go there now.

I believe I saw Majima-chan in one of the shots

its always facinating how many shops there are and it goes on and on and on....
1:07:47 amazing!! it's just like a painting. thanks Rambalac! :)
1:10:41 and again... amazing sight.
Brings back many memories of when I lived in Japan
japan never fail to amaze me..watching this video for relaxation

I feel like watching a video from a country 50 years in the future
i find myself liking this format much better than vlogs
@stephen hsuso Osaka is powerfull city & enjyoi town.
Osaka nightlife looks even better than that in Tokyo.
It is
We like Osaka a lot. Tokyo was pretty cool tho. Me and my friends found an English pub over in Tokyo. Had an armwrestling match with a few guys.
12:37, that's a cute smile!
26:42 Spider-Man Far From Home

a perfect guide for osaka for travelers...not get lost.......in big osaka city...perfect video...................thank you...
Amazing! Thank you for putting me back in the place. I see, not so much has changed over the years, even the gigantic ads never seem to change.
This was a treat to watch. Thank you!!
These videos make me feel like I'm there. Brilliant idea. Brilliant execution
Looks so much like Yakuza 0's Sotenbori! (yes, I know it was based on Osaka...)
No sign of Cabaret Grand though :(
I restarted playing it because of this vid lol If I get to tokio later in the game, I will be very careful of not crossing my way with the tall guy that takes away your money lol mr shakedown
More like Yakuza Kiwami 2's sotenbori
Was waiting for him to walk into transparent barrier with the “no” symbol
The game is practically mapped on the area
So addictive, can't stop watching
It's cool watching this to see what it is.
It way cooler if you ever been there and watch this to bring back memory.
Japan is very organized and clean. In my opinion, its two of her strong points.
I was here September this year... Already feeling the nostalgia vibes...

This is the best traveling video for me!
Just went there back in november & can't wait to go back
Wow and operator holds the camera stick all the time?
He deserves more likes for it alone
I went to Osaka to watch the IAAF World Championships in Athletics (2007) and stayed in America Mura at a capsule hotel. Anyway, I met a couple of race walkers that night. They had finished their races and decided to get drunk. lol.
Looks very different from the last time I was there around 1972 lol
23:36 Matching hats, vests, shirts. Nice.

@20:54 that's the famous youtuber raphael!
I'm surprised to see him in this video
I was wondering what was going on there.
Osaka was a honeymoon stop just 5 months before your video. The walking must be amazing in such cool weather.
Just visited here last week & i already can't wait to get back to Japan.

Watched most of this and, luckily, didn't see any issues with the accidental autofocus.
