By the way, after a lot of research, im saving some money and i intend to buy the Hifiman Sundara (to be my all-rounder for music, maybe too sterile and less immersive for movies?!); the Sennheiser HD6xx (something intimate, relaxing and smooth); The Grado Sr80e (portable, lightweight and with an intimate but energetic sound, especially for Rock), maybe a Thieaudio Legacy 3 (portable IEM, different experience) and another one for Movies and Gaming (still in search…). Comply foam tips don't just improve the sound of those IEM's, they improve the sound of all IEM's. When I first got my Fiio FH5's I hated them and was nearly going to send them back until I tried them with some comply tips, which transformed the sound, and did exactly the same to the sound when I upgraded to the FH7's. It seems that the foam absorbs those excess frequencies that would normally bounce off the rubber in the silicone tips, and I really am astounded how few IEM users actually know about what a difference it makes. The best comply tips in my opinion are the isolation tips, and in view of the difference you've noticed with the sound of these IEMS, I strongly recommend you try them with other IEM's you may have previously judged too harshly.
@@theovonskeletor3709 I've found that only happens when you use tips that don't create a tight seal. The rounder comply tips cause that problem. For this reason I recommend the comply isolation tips as they create a much tighter seal.

@@TheSombereyesFor the FH5's, you need the 400's, and the best ones to use are the isolation tips as they provide the tightest seal. Another thing that really helps with the FH5's is to put a small o-ring over the neck of each earbud before putting the tips on as it prevents the bud from regressing too far within the neck of the earbud, allowing the tips to go deeper into your ears. This is less of a problem with the FH7's, but it works well with either buds.
