This is what I've been looking for!!! I do mainly vinyl sets and I'm just getting into the world of lighting. I've been wondering if it's possible to mostly automate some light shows and sync them to the music using a line-in solution rather than relying on the built in mics that some lights have. This is exactly what I need. I just hope the DJM-900SRT mixer I have can output midi clock. EDIT: I just installed the SoundSwitch trial and the midi cock works with the DJM-900SRT! Time to buy some lights 🙂

I can't MAP the PADS anymore with the new update 2.3 in the MIDI section on SS. Only the right 'TURNING BUTTONS' react to the mapping. Can u help me on this (those PADS are necessary to perform during a DJ gig)

Can you confirm exactly what port you plugged into on the 900NSX2? Is it one of the two in the very top left? So I would need a USb a-b cable for this.

Ether port will work as both ports output MIDI clock - Correct USB A-B

yeah this is for mtc in. what about mtc out. i just want to be able to select the deck that sends out timecode of that deck to my selected midi port. and if possible i would like 2 mtc if not 4 mtc lines out. that way i can send everything to the timecode rig for my ma2

Also silly question.. could I turn up to an already running gig and just plug into the midi output on the 900NSX2 and it will just work? It won't interrupt what's playing in any way?

How do you use the Denon X1800 MIDI interface with SoundSwitch?

You can connect the X1800 to SoundSiwthc using the USB port on the mixer. This will send all the required MIDI Data

No the XDJ-XZ does not have the ability to send MIDI Clock

I’m trying to the sync midi clock from my Playback multitracks app on my iPad. I’m sending midi using a network midi session. It shows up in the drop-down menu on soundswitch, but when I click it, it won’t select it. Very strange.

Same thing I'm experiencing, I select it but then nothing happens (even on a restart). Did you solve your problem? I have multiple midi out devices and SS won't accept any of them.
