I have the same Denon SC6000M players love them and a Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000NXS2 I haven't tried the midi out yet on anything though. Keep up the good work you will figure it out.
if u want to use din midi btwn v10 and DJS, try putting the beatfx of the v10 on master opposed to a channel. midi clock out works off the djm beat detector which is what is basically also in the rmx. there's a few other tricks i found for din midi on v10 but another. option is to simply run a cat5e/6 cable from v10 to djs1000 then you have benefits of pro link plus u can still use nudge
@@TheDJLab they 100% will. try this: as long as the DJS-1000 is in PLAYER Mode and MASTER or BEAT SYNC button is activated and the DJS channel player number matches the v10 mixer channel number, PRO LINK works. if the DJS is in DRUM MACHINE Mode, PRO LINK still works but BEAT FX don't auto-quantize (though PRO LINK still receives grid info in order to Sync to other players).
@@djmattpositive I am trying to get this to work using my djm-a9 and my djs-1000. i have set the DJS in player mode and master/beat sync button is activated. which channel number should i set the DJS to? the selected beat fx channel number on the a9? i did that and it's not syncing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
@@80sMixTv as long as you have the DJS linked with the A9 via a standard ethernet cable, the only other setup detail is to make sure to match the player number of the DJS-1000 ("PLAYER NO." in Utilities) with the specific A9 physical channel the DJS audio cables are connected to. eg. if you have the DJS-1000 audio connected to Channel 4 of the A9, the DJS-1000 should be set to "PLAYER 4." to test switch BEAT Fx to either MASTER or the channel the DJS is on and press the QUANTIZE (UTILITY) button on the A9 so its red (right of the TAP button). if you did all this and it doesn't work, try a different ethernet cable (CAT5e/CAT6) - they break easy.
obviously if you have other prolink devices connected to your A9 (CDJs) you'll want to connect both the A9 and the DJS via ethernet cable into your hub/switcher that the CDJs are connected to - and make sure the CDJs Player No equals the channel they are on as well
When you get your new Pioneer 3000's it should sync perfectly. The midi for the Denon players may have something different in there calibration to midi match the Pioneer mixer. ????
Djs 1000 when first came out had this issue for sometime then they fixed it finally with firmware update on the sampler so update firmware on djs 1000 and try again
very surprised to see it's not working very well on the V10 considering it's a very expensive bit of kit! what's the the midi clock on the 900nxs 2 like? I'm guessing sloppy as well? or it's better?
I just bought the V10, it gets very hot, i can barely keep my hand under it. It s like melting… and have a smell like is melting materials. Is this happening because its new? It is normal to be so hot ? I think it has 60-70 degrees under mixer 😳🤬
@@TheDJLab because i felt the smell…and wanted to check if everything is ok. Are you shure its normal? I cant keep my hand its hot like hell….i would sent it back to retailer
@@TheDJLab it was defective. If I hadn't put my hand under it, I probably wouldn't have known even now, although it was unlikely because it emitted a smell of hot solder. It was getting very hot, tomorrow I will receive another one in exchange!
Don't be surprised when the next one feels very hot with that smell of solder. It's the excess flux they use and every Pioneer. D j thing, I have seems to be the same way
Well what is the MIDI clock source? I mean is it audio to MIDI or coming of the beat sync or something else? MIDI won't drift if everything is digital, unless it is being created (in true 24 or 96 PPQN) from a beat and not sliding to new tempo's. That said, it's a whole lot easier to make a MIDI Clock than to slave to one, so that's what I suspect is the slave ;)
Bro you have new gear every other week. How do you deal with depreciation when reselling everytime lol? you must work at a pioneer dealer. Ive yet to meet someone whos actually been lucky enough to take a v10 home
Wow ... Thanks man! Just ditched a concept. Good that I know that.

manual bpm sync is always the safest
I use CDJ's 3000 and the DJS 1000 syncs perfectly every time. No issues
That's prolink

V10 to djs-1000 won't do pro link

Have you tried using digital out from the SC6000M to the V10 to see if the results are any different?
It is digital
@@TheDJLab, ok. Just wonderring. I've never used that manner to connect CDJs or Media Players, but I figured I would ask in case it was an option.

Why do you have your hand under the mixer?? They do get pretty warm and that smell could be because it's new.

Midi 5 pin out from mixer. I'll revisit this and see if I can fix it.

The sampler may need to be calibrated ???
Nope
