Roll bar would be better in a track car, I went with shark bar because I mostly race autocross, didn't want the weight and I'm not really in danger of rolling at autocross.
Mounting the submarine strap that far back will do lots of damage to your balls actually. It should be 4” behind the opening in the seat. To far back like that and the harness can stretch and cut your sack. Been there done that.
