    Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the Canucks had a great year this season, but the better your team becomes, the worse draft day is. That was brutal to watch. 😂

    Team IKEA just seems so determined to draft more Swedish players. By the third round, I guess we should not expect much, but I think it is not too much to ask to see the Canucks drafting some North American kid with size, physicality, and some scoring to boot...

    Dont get me wrong, I'm hoping for the best, but there is a good chance that no guys we drafted do anything substantial in the nhl.

    Patrick Alvin really screwed up this year’s draft. We got nothing.

  • @omfg322

    At best he can be an absolute steal since he could have been easily picked in round 2
    At worst he becomes maybe top of abby or 4th line player

    Alvin sure likes to draft Swedish players. I really hope these players start to pay off. Canucks are very weak in the prospect department.

      Wasn't really wild with us trading away Brustewiecz (I spelled that from memory. I wonder how close I got. 😂) as we were already thin on prospects, but I think they are happy with our other recent Swede picks and are prioritizing quality over quantity.

      @@Statsy10we havent seen one of his picks make the nhl yet meanwhile wystt johson 100 points making league minimum cap era got have your first rounder and you better hit Canucks are in trouble but hey we made second round they be lucky to make the playoffs next year mark my words

    • @Statsy10
      @Statsy10 Месяц назад +1

      @@drifter5682 Well, most prospects don't go straight into the league unless they are a top three pick. Wyatt Johnston is an outlier. Lekkerimaki and Willander both look like great prospects.
      By the way, I'm sure you saved a ton of time by not putting any punctuation into that post, but it does make it awfully tough to read. 😉
