@@nicholasvivian960I just bought a bunch of trout magnets but haven’t been able to fully try them out yet I just renewed my license today haha. Do you usually throw them in a lake/pond or river?
@keanandarnell8709 I'm from the Pennsylvania area, which is mostly streams and creeks. I don't have a boat. And there are very few locations that allow boats to begin with in my area, so I don't necessarily use them in large bodies of water.
its a toss up between rooster tails and panther martins for me, great little lures. i’ve got phoebes and kastmasters in my trout box but spoons are far less productive for me. i just started the video but i bet the rooster wins this one
Loving this little series man! Went out and bought some Kastmasters after watching the last video, also got myself a Clanker, supposedly made by thr same manufacturer. Can't wait to get out and test them out!
Great video! I'm not surprised by the results here because I get the same result when comparing the two. BUT>>> if you really want to outfish everyone then you may want to go with plastic baits that are meant for crappie and use them for trout.
Born and raised on Moosehead Lake Maine and the ol KastMaster has never let me down. Blue and Silver for Brookies. and i love the Orange and silver for Salmon.
Kastmaster by far the better lure. Best spoon lure, actually. I caught Pacific cod, lingcod, salmon, steelhead, rockfish and trout on Katmasters throughout the year. Great for casting long distances and you can use it as a jig.
For the Kasties, are you adding any weight at all or just flatlining them? How far back, just one typical cast's worth of distance? About walking speed? You're the best 👍
I prefer a kastmaster. And to be honest I prefer the way a panther Martin fishes over the rooster tail. But the rooster tail vibrics are nice with that extra weight
Yakima Bait for the win. Rooster tail caught the best fiah by far and had the best hook up ratio. If you want to count bites, just toss worms in the water. I want fish in the boat
I will stand behind Dynamic HD trout lure against any cast master or rooster tail. However not trolling. A steady retrieve is not the best way to fish an hd trout lure.
Man, I have NEVER caught anything on a rooster tail in the last 15 or so years. They are in my box just for "looks" any more. Bummer. I've got maybe a dozen different ones. They get NO action. Panther Martin, kastmaster, blue fox, other blades and spoons
I use rooster tails when the white bass are in the river for a few weeks coming up soons I bought a bunch of different spoons for trout/salmon but have never really used them. I went through my junk garage sale stuff and found a purple spoon I threw in my tackle box
Problem with ACME is that they took all of their spoon production to China..no more made in USA Cleos, Kastmasters or Wobble Glo's! Sucks! And their glow lures do not glow nearly as long as their USA made spoons.
Love the lure competition episodes. So fun to watch.
The way u do the videos just magic. I love it!!!!!
Should try Dynamic Lure HD Trout Crankbait Lures?
I use them for trout. Good lures
Rooster tails have caught me more species of fish than any other lure.
Same here, I get everything on rooster tails. Never caught anything on a trout magnet
Largemouth, bluegill, and trout I’ve caught on a rooster tail. Super versatile fs!

Is that a cutbow? That thing looks like a salmon
Blue & chrome casting spoons are my #1 go to for trout.

Rooster tails are absolutely deadly! Great looking trout Jordan! 🤘🏼🔥
Cool to see you rock adamsbuilt gear, Dennis and the gang are great guys and have helped me a lot. Awesome video thanks guys!

Roosters, Panthers, and Kastmasters all the way! 🎣
Orange and gold cast master on cloudy days but love the blue silver
Jordan, those are some very impressive and amazing looking trout. Great size, and are all those fish plants. 👍
Rooster tail 🔥🔥
Kastmaster by far the better lure. Best spoon lure, actually.

Len Thompson buoyant spoons are my personal favourite spoon
@@9mmbeater I like LT spoons a lot.
I use the large ones for trolling, very frequently.
You should do one of these competitions with both lures being the same or similar color
Blue Fox all day.
What body of water is that?
Could you recommend me a good salmon rod and reel for the PNW please?
For saltwater or for rivers?
@@mikedegnan5252 rivers. Thank you for a reply
Dude! Throw a gold uncle Josh's with red dots 1/4 oz. If there are fish in the water, that lure will catch them! Crime and red dots works good also.
Nothing beats the kastmaster.
Just try it!
For the Kasties, are you adding any weight at all or just flatlining them? How far back, just one typical cast's worth of distance? About walking speed? You're the best 👍
No weight, cast as far as you can, & retrieve back in.
Heck yeah I like a good Jordan video.
Have you seen his poaching & violations records?
Try the frog color needlefish against the kastmaster⚡🤙
Who needs a 🔔 when you have a little!!?
Please try the tasmanian devil lure it won't disappoint
The Thomas lure is the #1 trout lure
A good challenger for the kastmaster especially in that lake would be a Rapala CD5.
I prefer a kastmaster. And to be honest I prefer the way a panther Martin fishes over the rooster tail. But the rooster tail vibrics are nice with that extra weight
I like those panther martins, they give a real nice wobble to the rod tip at a .8-1.5 mph troll for trout.
also love the content jordan!
Might be cool to see you guys buy a couple of the mystery box tackle things and have them go against eachother
Yakima Bait for the win. Rooster tail caught the best fiah by far and had the best hook up ratio. If you want to count bites, just toss worms in the water. I want fish in the boat
I like kastmaster but the swedish fish is my go to.
Isn’t this a repost?
Kastmaster vs. Dare devil or flat fish!!!!!
Dare devil is my shiiii
I have caught so many different species on those from the Midwest to Washington, but I do know color matters, but it is one of my go-to's!!!
Can't beat the Rooster or The Panther Martin caught just about every species of fish on them.
I've caught more species of fish on Kastmaster than anything else. Go Jordan!
I will stand behind Dynamic HD trout lure against any cast master or rooster tail. However not trolling. A steady retrieve is not the best way to fish an hd trout lure.
You should do five of diamonds vs red devil
Mack's Wedding Rings next!
Rooster tails work just got find right color / means change out a lot
Next challenge should be. Spinner bait vs frog bait??..🤔🤔
Can you do a breakdown of your kayak? And maybe tell us about your dog. Lol
👍
Make it a fair competition.
Panther Martin vs Kastmaster both lures being the same weight..
Whaaaat? Bites don’t count, fish to the boat, rooster tail wins.
this is a cool series. Maybe get panther martin or blue fox next
I agree. Try panther Martin next. That's always my first pick.
Met Jordan here last year he actually knocked me off the leaderboard 😢😂
For me cast master
Don't sleep on the Super Duper eh
Team rooster tail
I’m more of a panther martin man myself
I dont know I think the rooster tail is the real MVP here
That trout was bigger than some steelhead that come back 😅
If one, won't catch fish, usually the other will.
Wanna beat the Kastmaster trolling, needlefish!
A one inch rapala. Can do just as good there are many that make The day.
@@davidfarrens3572 I don't even fish spinners,blade bait/spoons,then stick baits,is usually my approach!
Tight lines to ya' brother.

Panther Martin, kastmaster, blue fox, other blades and spoons
Holy fuck that's a beautiful trout
❤ u
It looks like you’re moving way too slow for that rooster tail to be effective.
MOHAP
My secret trout lure isnt on the list thankfully
Does it start with an M ?

Rooster tails are the the king of the PNW
Rooster tails suck. Once I discovered panther martins
I trashed all my roostertails and haven't looked back. 20 plus yrs ago.
yo what are these accounts in the comments

I still have not caught a single fish on a kastmaster but I'll keep trying
