Nearly there and looking better. It's always a good feeling to strip out useless cables and tidy it all up 😊 I'm glad you pointed out the channel below the driver footstep. I'm going to mount my leisure charger behind the driver seat and that's a better route to the battery than up the B and down the A pillar.
I've now got the fabric for my cushions so really close now. That channel is very handy, definitely best to remove the step to access it (took me a while to realise I had to remove the 2 plastic button clip things at the top to remove it). Also good to clean it out as it was full of loose gravel in there! cheers 👍
Ahh It's looking soo nice! Your attention to detail is spot on as usual. Loving the videos of all the upgrades and progress. Once again Nice one Bongo Wizard! 😀👍🚐
@VantasticIdeas heading up to Doncaster today with my new cinch hub and van connecter, staying at friends then onto bamburgh Northumberland for the week.
@@brendanmcfall739 Those cinch hubs look good and seem very popular in the Bongo crowd, you'll have to let me know how you get on with it. Northumberland is a lovely area to explore, have fun!!
Yet another great informative video. Can i ask what is the bed length from the rear door up to the unit? When i eventually get a Bongo, might be asking for your services to make similar layout.
Hi and thanks you 👍 it's approx 170cm from back door to the unit, but the space beside it can be all the way to the passenger seat if you wanted. Please drop me an email if you'd like to discuss services info@vantasticideas.co.uk Cheers!
Many thanks for reply Ian. Will definately drop you an email when i get a Bongo, to discuss changes to it. Thanks. Keep the informative videos coming. @@VantasticIdeas
Hello. Sold my t25, ready to pounce on a bongo (just had one sold on me I was going to buy on Thursday gutted) anyway, have my heart set on the v6 but limited availability. Wanted to know your long term view on the 2.0 petrol. Is it that underpowered? Motorway cruising speed? On the hills what's it like? Feel free to point me to a vid where you cover this. Thanks in advance. Really like the new kit out btw
I have a video on my to do list to talk about the 2ltr petrol version. The problem is I've never driven any other Bongo variety, so I have no frame of reference to compare. Personally I find it does everything I need it to do and cruises around 60-70mph. It doesn't have much oomph, but I'm happy to take my time and it drives pretty smoothly. It usually surprises me how well it manages lots of different terrain. I'd defo buy another if I was in the market. Also seems pretty easy to maintain and is a non interference engine if the cambelt goes! Ideally test drive as many potential Bongos as you can. I'd be interested to see how they compare to your t25!
I'm going seeing a bongo Wednesday (2.5l). I'll test drive it and let you know. The t25 was amazing size wise, just couldn't adapt it to a design I wanted and safety transport two rug rats so I'm going the bongo/awning route. I'm looking for an unconverted one partly inspired by your vids. My t25 was a holdsworth vision which had a funny lay out but it was positively palatial size wise compared to a bongo but I've got a soft spot for the bongo so it's that over a t4. Quite giddy about it to be honest

Love your videos. Do you have a link to where you ordered the foam from please? Going to try to flatten our Bongo seats too.
Good luck with the seat flattening! here's where I got my foam from - www.gbfoamdirect.co.uk/

Great job!
