Wow those are really nice! Great finds. I find fire agate similar to that in central AZ, but it does look a little different. I didnt know there was bubbly chalcedony in utah. Very cool!
Great video Shane! I'm a new subscriber as of today and wish you best of luck reaching 1,000 subscribers. Do you ever come down to Florida? Would love to take you kayaking to islands 5 minutes from my home looking for Florida fossils. Places with beaches full of sharks teeth, ancient horse, gator, mastodon, mammoth, turtle and other fossils just walking the deserted beaches surrounded by mangrove tunnels and tons of wildlife. I absolutely love Southern Utah and travel there every summer to rockhound. Such a completely different landscape than Florida and I don't believe I will ever tire of it. Would love to join you sometime or if you could even just recommend some areas to explore I would appreciate anything you could do to point me to some new hunting grounds. Happy hunting!
@@tappintheamericanwest2781 we are in Greenville NC. Im literally counting the days. Ive been waiting for this for years. And we are building and i get a brand new workshop fitted with some new dream tool along with my trusty old lapiday tools.
@@tappintheamericanwest2781 and i want to be better at making videos. But it can be hard acknowledging my ADHD and then dealing with that and some social anxiety as well. I seem to have no filter. Lol
It's unfortunate there are no thin layers of limonite or goethite within those pieces, because they look so close to being fire agate. In any case though, they are still beautiful.
It's Will from the group. Perhaps we should do a collab sometime, could be fun and good for both our channels. I haven't been actively making videos but I plan to start again this year.
Do You ever find Opal? I love Your wackamole videos..excellent fare. Appreciated and shared.

In my 59 years I have found exactly ONE arrowhead, and yes I kept it. Never seen rocks that amazing either. Very jealous.
They're actually really common in certain volcanic areas of the southwest. Just have to be in the right geology to find them.
What cool finds
Thanks for sharing. Don't tell me, but I don't recognize the area. Cool finds
You’re welcome
Can you sure exactly where that is? I live up in Utah Valley, but I am coming down to Saint George!
I wish I lived close because I'd love a piece of this
Shane, do you sell any of your rocks? If I lived closer to St. George you could use my equipment for cutting and polishing. Carry on 😊
Cute!
You are finding what people call fire agates. Do any of them have colors that show up below the surface?
I have never seen the size that you are finding them in!

What do you use these stones for?
Where in utah is this? If you share 😊
I'll pay shipping. How about sending me 2 pieces.
A better quality of this video will upload in a hour according to RUclips
