Mad props to coach DiNardo. He was not successful at IU, but at the end he asked his players to stay at IU. Part of why he struggled was he was always trying to add players.
It's necessary to see perennial " bottom feeders" have success. How long can I.U. sustain this type of success is unknown, but for a school like my Terrapins, it's a wake-up call. An invested administration committed to change can go a long way. Looks like they've found their guy at Head Coach.
@@Dmb596I don’t know man. Indiana swept Nebraska and Ohio barely beat Nebraska. It could be a really close with, especially with Indiana likely winning against both Michigan schools
Indiana and Penn st . both have powder puff schedules. Neither team has beaten a current top 25 team Franklin did his annual November swoon and Indiana will be shell shocked trying to cover OSU receivers. Look for OSU to score at least 31.
Oh idk man? I'd be happy if they just made the playoffs. They have no depth yet. 44 kids on the roster with Zero stars... basically unrecruited walk-on level
@@donaldshotts4429Not true. The coach took 13 players with him from his last team, and got 13 players in the portal to transfer over. Lots of experience players who've proven themselves. This coach used to find talent for Nick Saban in Alabama.
@@renko9067 Is it true. Basically everyone left but the transfers. I'm in Indy and they were talking about it. They have very little depth. Cignetti is so good though that the high school & transfers will be lining up. I think we'll at least be top 5 big ten.
Dream on. Their bubble will burst at OSU. They will lose by at least ten Not one game this year with a top 25 team. As overrated as Penn st. Another team with a powder puff schedule till they played a top five team. Hoosiers will not make playoffs if OSU beats them handily.
1930's & 40's under Bo Mcmillan (1945 undefeated Big Ten Champs), 1967 Big Ten Champs (Rose Bowl), 1979 Holiday Bowl Champions over undefeated Brigham Young, 1987 defeated Michigan and Ohio State in same year, 1988 Peach Bowl Champions over South Carolina, 1991 Copper Bowl Champions over Baylor, 2020 Big Ten runners-up, several other bowl appearances (1986, 1987, 1990, 1993, 2007, 2015, 2016 and 2019) Several College Hall of Fame inductees.
Maryland, Northwestern and Wisconsin. It's really not who they played but how they have dominated. For example, they beat UCLA worse than Penn State, LSU and Oregon did.
Stick with me here: Nebraska rolled Colorado who rolled UCF who ran for 350 on Iowa State and gave the game away. Miami was getting pounded by Cal and just gave up 45. ND lost to N Illinois who's getting beat up in the MAC. LSU lost to USC who's getting ragdolled in B10 play. Penn State was 7-3 late 1H vs UCLA who IU crushed. If we get Roarke back then you'll see
Love the Story of Indiana Football my Grandfather was the back up for the All American back in the 20s or 30s , runningback
Excellent analysis as expected
Thanks, Coach Meyer, for seeing with your own eyes and sharing with us. This team is real.

Good coaching always wins in the end…Far too many people overstate players over coaches…A proven winner works every time..
Cignetti is a one of a kind coach and signed an extension..Indiana will be here to stay for a while
One thing is certain Ohio State must win every game until Indiana and that means winning at Penn State because they could lose to Indiana.
Do you think Indiana or Penn State will be a tougher game for the buckeyes?
One thing is for certain Ohio State will not lose to Indiana. Stop the stupidity!!!
@@Dmb596 That is absolutely not certain

They got a Shanahan 😂😂
they will beat everybody till they play Oregon in the national championship game

Doesn’t matter. Past IU teams would be 3-4 . This team is destroying others. No need to be critical.
Indiana has played good teams, they just make them all look bad!!!

Michigan found its next coaching staff.
You don’t like Sherrone Moore?
