Smashing night, so long ago !
A great band and also really nice people. I remember meeting Tanya and Gail backstage at the Cat's Cradle in NC. My ex ended up becoming good friends with Gail. This video takes me back, and there's something about Tanya that just makes you want to smile...

Tanya and Belly's problem is that their first album was over-loaded w/ great material and their second album had very very little left. Suzanne Vega did the same thing ie shot her wad on many years of pent up material on one album and then had nothing decent left for a follow up. Gail didn't help matters but she wasn't the problem (only a distraction)
