Does Camp mode air condition the vault? What mode do I use if I leave the car to go into a store but someone is sitting in the passenger seat?

@@philesq camp mode is only for the cabin but if you want to camp in the bed using the Cyber Tent or other camping setup, there are 2 120v outlets back there and a 240v 50 amp outlet. So you could run a portable air conditioner or heater, or power a camper etc. This was a design choice from Tesla that makes sense from an efficiency perspective instead of the cabin venting back there.
To leave AC on for someone when you run in a store you can utilize “Keep” mode instead of camp. This will keep the AC running until you return.
I’ll be showing some camp content in the near future with the Cyber Tent so stay tuned! Thanks for watching.

Question: so there is no separate button specifically for the heat (winter) like on a gas vehicle?

@@Da-King-of-Swing no specific heat button but it knows the ambient temperature and will turn on the heat to reach the desired cabin temperature. You can also control the climate from your mobile app, and there is a “defrost car” option for heating it up in the winter before hopping in. It’s also common to schedule the climate control to to turn on at your desired time every day(s) you want it to so the car is comfortable before your commute etc. or you can pop open the app and enable climate on your way to your car after leaving somewhere heading back to the parking lot. Lots of great options. Tesla climate control is unmatched! They also have a special hvac system in their cars that is considered a modern marvel of engineering by those familiar with the tech.

@@skylerity thank you for clearing that up I've been asking that question whenever someone does a climate control vid but never got a direct answer
