This is a pretty cool toy. It really has a cool design and a nifty transformation. The character was also quite cool, too. It kinda helps that he played an important part in my two favorite G1 episodes (Ghost in the Machine and The Burden Hardest to Bear).

I've gotten a few G1 KO's and if the stickers don't look good I don't use them and order from Toyhax. I did this with my Skullcruncher. I still wish I had my Scourge from when I was a kid. Thank you for sharing.

The instructions for the Targetmaster do have him putting the rocket booster in his hand as a weapon. Has the 1986 version has smaller hand holes do you cannot do that on this toy.

Scourge is a KO I think my life needs. I have genuine blue ear Cyclonus, And Galvatron. But never had Scourge back then. Why buy a KO? Well, after tracking down the parts for those two. I think my wallet would die of trauma if I bought him without his bits.
Valdore I like getting these KO/ unlicensed re-issues because they have little, if any difference to the original molds, the price is right and I get them brand new in the box. The fact that they weren't "made by Hasbro in 198-something" makes no difference to me when they're sitting on my display shelf.

I got my Scourge back in 96 rummage sale $2 I paid for him complete. Same rummage sale I found the Micromasterbase skystalker. He was $3 complete. The 90's was a good time Getting all this stuff cheap.
All hail megatron258 I remeber. I wish I would've been into Transformers back then but I was concentrating on Star Wars. I missed out on a lot of good TF deals.

Cheers Bert, I got scourge when I was 7 along with Jetfire and air-raid from the airialbots. This was just before the movie, so I had no idea who he was, but I thought he was a boat too.
Never had any problem with legs mate, that's a KO thing, I've got a G1 KO Optimus, with the same problem.

Bert I have a question but when you are reviewing G1 toys are those KOs or reissue I know you said that scourge is a KO but it makes me think that my G1 bee is a KO
abdiel miranda I ALWAYS specify in the video if the figure is an original, a re-issue or a KO, and I also put it in the description. I never pass anything off as something its not.

That figure looks really good for an HKO, bummer about the decals...but I know a place you can get some.
Scourge rocked the best G1 facial hair, Stranglehold was second with his Tom Selleck stache.
Now before you commenters go nuts, the Wreck-Gar toy did not have facial hair. Oh Happy 2 Year "RUclips Friends" Anniversary.🎁😁
