Ur the only video I found that just died the notch instead of the whole circle and I think that’s way smart !!🎉
Glad I could help!
Just installed curt 13382 on my 2023 Crosstrek. Fits perfectly.
The better video I seen for the diy with out a lift and not removing muffler…. Mine will be used for a platform bike rack….. good 👍 job !
Thank you sir!
Great video. One tip is to anti seize the threads on the bolts to keep rust from creating a future problem.
Good tip!
Very well done video, thank you! I'm getting ready to install my hitch on my 2019 Crosstrek.
Great video!
Just got one of these for my Crosstrek. Your video is just what I needed!
Glad I was able to help out at least one person!
@@PatrickKasilag 💯
Extremely informative thanks
You're a godsend good sir
Just finished the work with a major hiccup. My car had a 1 cm bead of rubbery stuff too near the front holes that I had to scrape away.
Same, that stuff got in the way of the spacer and made it so the bolts didn't protrude out enough. Found that using needle nose pliers to pinch and tear away bits and pieces of it was the most effective way to remove that stuff.
Hi, perfect video . In the market for a new SUV would you recommend a Subaru crosstrek and why?
Helped me put it on. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
Have you added a wiring harness for the boat? Was that hard to do?
Great video- trailers need lights, though. Do you recommend any certain kit?
Thanks! Actually I need to install some soon. I'll let you know then!
Nice video!
Did you have to jack up your car?
No need, just because it’s lifted 2” and has larger tires
Awesome thanks.
Would I recommended getting a external radiator for cooling from keys to NY 1500 miles!?
What are you pulling? I only haul dirt bikes on a hitch carrier around with our Crosstrek. If you’re doing any sort of trailer or pulling over 1,000 lbs I would recommend an auxiliary cooler yes
Where would I get the wire for the bolts
This wire came with the CURT tow hitch kit I purchased
Hola desde chile muy buen video yo quiero fabricar por casualidad tendrá las medidas y el espesor de los metales se le agradecería
Where did you get the fish wire ?
The fish wire came installed on the bolts and came with the Curt hitch kit
@@PatrickKasilag Yes I got ‘em kinda hard to install, but got her done been using it . Glad I got it
if you have a NAMELESS Muffler Delete exhaust plan on trimming the few inches off the hanging rods IT will lay right against the Hitch next to the frame and RATTLE
thank you for sharing this.
@@PatrickKasilag No problem! !
Wear safety glasses!!!
USA towbars are crap , these amaze me .. I'm sure it does the job but the European made ones are 10 times better designed
Good stuff and well done.
