What load rate is this tow hitch ? I’m getting the new Wilderness Crosstrek, which has a 3500 lb. towing capacity. Does this receiver hitch have that towing capacity, or is it just 1500 lb rated ?
The hitch has a 3,500 lb. rating and 525 lb. tongue weight rating at the trailer ball. (More than my Crosstrek is rated to tow!) However, I'm not sure this will fit the new Wilderness or not. I'd suggest reaching out to EcoHitch directly.

if you already went with an aftermarket exhaust with a rear exit that sits down below the bumper, why go for an ecohitch over a normal one?

You need to buy a trailer wiring kit. However, it's a plug and play installation as the plug is already in the car.

@brandtedwards7735 There is a plug tucked up under the plastics on these cars. You just need to buy trailer wiring, but it's all plug and play.
