On my wish list, but not first. Lovely to see you online again, Sir. Thank you so much for this content. A really good watch and looks amazing. That ceramic bezel is great.
Most watches are not worth buying at retail. Unless you really want to be the first owner buy second hand. You will save tons of money. Most brands outside of Rolex, AP, and Patek lose money and fast. If you buy second hand you don’t take the hit, but you let the first guy take the hit and you take the savings.
@@ProPlay86 Indeed n that would likely be the more accurate one TBH. I use my phone to set the time on my automatic watches... N don't even get me started on COSC... I'd rather get a Casio Royale that's only 30 bucks n even more accurate than COSC certified watches costing thousands or 10s of thousands...
Ceramic watches just don’t look like luxury. They look like something citizen sells for $60. That’s why they don’t hold their value. If you like them, a good buy used.
I have had a BB Ceramic for over 2 years now. Bought at retail for $4,800ish. They held their value for while due to low supply. Sometime last year Tudor opened new METAS production capability and the used values tanked. Its a phenomenal value at $3,500. I have been very happy with mine and love it for what it really is.......a watch made more for style than function. Its not a tool watch. It fits a niche in my collection as the only ceramic and only all black watch. I also like the technology baked-in. I enjoy wearing it. Its light and comfortable and wears a lot smaller than my BB GMT. Here is a tip.....the stock rubber/leather (fake?) strap does not work well under shirt or jacket cuffs....its too think, sticks to cuffs and is uncomfortable. The tail also sticks out too far. I bought a dark grey alcantara strap that works perfectly and makes the watch wear smaller. If shopping used, I would not pay a premium for a pristine stock strap, and, instead, save the money for a couple new aftermarket straps of your choosing.
Love the Tudor range in general! I totally agree with that woeful voiceover. WT?! I thought your rendition was a helluva lot better. The mimick was even better!🤣 I thought you were gonna go into Daffy Duck mode!🤪😂
This is now my favourite watch channel on RUclips , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at MAMACOO, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
I happen to really like black pvd/dlc watches, and they never hold value, no matter the brand. But that means I can hunt for big discounts for a lot of models I have interest in
The BB Ceramic was my first choice for a ceramic watch until I realized I could get a used Omega Seamaster 300m Titanium and Ceramic with no date for $4500-5500. Definitely was a better option in my specific situation. Both Tudor & Omega are so hard to consider buying retail when the used market is so appealing.
I bought this popular video watch from MAMACOO , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
Paying over 5k for a ceramic Tudor is wild. Online the asking price and the selling price are two different things, especially considering the fees ebay and chrono24 take. After selling one of these I doubt one would be able to recover even half the MSRP. I see them on offer up for around $2500 asking price which is the current market value for those. Heritage 41 for even less than that.
I think when most people go into the luxury domain above $3500, they want something in traditional stainless steel. The black stealthy look is reminiscent of a G-shock. I personally like the look of your ceramic Tudor because it's unique rather than another Rolex homage.
HaHa! That's a fact! I don't have a problem with him moving on to luxury watches but he really needs to change the name of his channel! If you're tuning in for the first time you're going to be very confused!
@@sinjinadams2862 I've been watching him for a while now. When he talks about watches that I cannot afford, or am not interested in, I click off. Yeah, he should no longer say "cheap" if its luxury watches.
It's not the first ceramic Tudor! The Fastrider Blackshield has a ceramic case and was a collaboration with Ducati, but doesn't mention that motorcycle manufacturer anywhere. I like it alot. Give it a view.
Almost every watch is highly discounted pre owned. Especially omega. Tudor is no different. What’s crazy though is how hard the BB ceramic new from an AD was to get when it was released. And btw 41mm is far from “big.”
So you can buy 95pc of Tudors range in virtually any AD in the UK. Usually at 0pc interest. So a huge number in market. Many of the models are now 10 plus years old. Plus Tudor has seen significant price increases compared to 4-5 years ago. A lot of people buy them as a mid point watch, I want a sub, but it's a waitlist, so I bought a black bay to fill the gap. They get the call the watch goes on ebay. Recently I got my Dad a GMT for £2000. It retails at £3700 now, the guy had bought at £3000. That seems fair enough for a used watch. The notion that luxury items hold their value second hand is basically limited to a few Rolex models and maybe certain Patek models now? To me for £2k that's a bargain.
I suspect they will all keep dropping in resell value even Rolex I’m talking another 20 to 30% in the next couple years just a theory they will start to switch hands less ….
amzwatch You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
it is super inconvenient to have to move your hand about a half inch to be able to see the bezel markings. Probably not the watch for a lot of people...

Never been a Tudor fan for over 40 years and counting. Don't find these Rolex wanna be's to be attractive in design. In other words, they are fugly. 'Snowflake' hands... really? Don't understand the obsession with the Black Bay. Bleh. Like the madness for a Moonswatch.
Tudor watches can still be actually used for their purpose. Current Rolexes are just jewellery, and their fine polished surfaces can be problematic. Didn't Rolex used to be tough "doing things"watches?
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on MAMACOO
The Opaline Dial GMT is awesome. I had hands on one yesterday, and I fell in love with it.
I have a heritage Black Bay and I love it.
I think this would have done better if the bezel numerals or the triangle on top was white colored too
I love all four of my Tudors. Pelagos date, Pro, BB41, and BB gmt opaline dial. I bought all unworn on Bezel. Saved hundreds
I'm also a fan of the pro, wear yours in good health my friend
After watching your Tudor review, I now need a ‘Speaker City’ t-shirt. 😂
On a serious note, love the content!

Great Review Randy! The Black Ceramic is possibly the first Tudor I like enough to purchase. The black on black is a great look!
I may know a guy...
Tudor are a three grand watch, and the price increases have priced them out of the market
Appreciate the Old School reference with the T-shirt.
Let's face it... Tudor, Rolex, Omega... Do they Really cost That much?
They cost that much, but are they worth that much ? (No)

Let’s face it: you’re a noob to the hobby that doesn’t take into account overhead, warranty service, etc. let’s face it
Tudor is a lot of watch for the price!
I really thought The Ranger was going to be the subject of the video. The ceramic BB is *chef kiss*

wait wait wait... you are also the Cheap Watch Man as well as the Cheap Audio Man?!! Wow, you are full of surprises! Subbed!
These are not scratches under the lugs. Use some cape cod polish, it should remove everything: this is just some metal left by the springbars.
The blue dial ceramic just came out. I wonder how it will hold up in value.
Great video Randy - Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Black Bay ceramic. It looks incredible.

Is that a crack in the ceramic in min 2’26”?
I just hate the straps. If they made a new t fit clasp rubber strap like on the BB41 but blacked it out it would be awesome.
It’s weird this is so cheap seeing as it uses a more expensive case material and also has a METAS movement…
