I have Honda Civic 2005 the gear is working but after driving it for about 20mins to 30mins the gear delay on shifting from 1 to 2 except I put it back on neutral to drive
If there's delay then the transmission is bad.
Thank you friend, your video helped me a lot, keep it up, greetings from Honduras
Feliz año nuevo!!!
Here's a tip... what was the original problem... transmission slipping?... was the problem fixed?... did the transmission code come back after running the car ? ... all these unanswered questions...
For real this wasn’t even a real answer it was a myth lol
@@danielpavon21u so smart but ur here crying like a baby. Lol wow grow up and learn for urself or maybe u can't just fuking understand quit hating
Hi, I'm having difficult shifting from 1 to 2 gear making noise before shifting then pick up after changing to that gear but if i slow down it went bk again. I told the solenoid was bad but it repaired so mean i need to replace it or wht might be the issue
Making noise while shifting gears, bad tranny internally, either the gear is bad or the synchro gear is bad. Replace the transmission assembly.
I have a p0966 for clutch pressure control solenoid valve b short where would that be on a 2005 Honda civic lx?
Check the valve b connector “black connector with black/red and brown/white wires” it could be unplug or damage. If the wire colors are white/red, the connector is swapped with the mainshaft speed sensor.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma ok thanks will check it out.
My code is an p0741 torque converter clutch solenoid circut performance or stuck or off for Honda civic Lx 2004 automatic transmission 1.7L D17A engine
That's the same linear solenoid code.
What did you do. I have it on my 2004 EX and it's loud groningen but runs and shifts fine
Honda civic 04 refuse to change to gear 2, what could possibly go wrong?
If you cant put it into gear. Mostly likely is a bad internal transmission. 2nd gear synchro is damaged and the 2nd gear is damaged. Replace the transmission.
I need to do the same. What is the part number or where did you buy it from? Been looking for weeks. Canr find an answer
For reference. I've bought one off eBay and it didn't fit..so I need the exact link of what you bought cos its the right one.
@@chegeuvera As long as it fits the year model you have should be right.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma no bro. I've been looking for weeks and I've ordered and they've been wrong. Your part is correct. Can I have that part number please for reference.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma is it called 28015 PLX 305?
@@chegeuvera yes
What about p0740? No slipping no problem for past few months and its time to get code clear lol…drive and run great just hesitated one time so far… also im confuse theres another part called same name.. help!
P0740 code is lockup clutch system malfunction. Replace the linear solenoid and try replacing the torque converter clutch apply solenoid (TCC). Solenoid located on top of the transmission, drain and refill with new fluids. Solenoid cost $50. If you replaced both parts and code still come back, then the transmission is bad internally.
My car will get stuck around 20-30 mph and then the rpms will just go all the way up ? Can this be the solenoid?
No. The transmission is bad internally. When you drive and the rpm go up and the speed stay, bad tranny.
Hi there I’m need some help on this
How much solenoid ang how much for repairing thanls
Part and fluids around $150 if you do it yourself. For a shop around $350 to $400.
I have a 2002 Honda civic LX . Cranks and runs quiet . But when change actual gears it goes no where physically . What could it be ?
Then the transmission is bad internally. If you gas up and car doesn't move then bad tranny.
Can also be the neutral safety switch.
@@erikaparicio3888 Safety switch wont be the problem. Neutral safety switch just tells you what gear youre in.
I was having the same issue and added XADO EX120 Automatic Transmission Fix directly into the transmission reservoir. it may save your trans like it did mine..
car is false neutral, i can drive for 15 mins ish and then acts like im in neutral until cools down, should i try this or just swap trans
been delay shifting for months
@@slxmed915 Replace the linear solenoid first, its a cheap fix.
i have this same problem, i hope i won't have to replace transmission, hopefully it's just solenoid replacement.
My Honda Civic 2003 all transmission slipping after 3 second R / D but check engine light not on its cuz of solenoid ?
Transmission is bad internally. Tranny needs to be replace.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma, what is tranny
I HAVE CODE B TRANSMISSION SOLONOID FAILURE I CHANGED THIS KIT STILL HAVING SAME PROBLEM BLINKING LIGHT ON D . CIVIC 2004 AUTO TRANSMISSION
Can you give me the exact code, i can help.
I have the p0977
I CHANGED LOWER SELONIDE KIT . A IS UPPER AND B IS LOWER . PLEASE NOTE . NOW CAR IS WORKING EXCELLENT. ACTUALLY MOTERS OF SELONIDE BECOMES WEEK AND CHANGED CLIKING VOICE CHANGED TO OTHER MOTER . MACHENIC MAKE FARMULA TO CHANGE BOTH WHICH IS WRONG. LISTEN TO VOICE OF MOTER CLICKING NEAR TO EAR CLOSELY . ONLY EARS CAN DETECT FALTY SELONIDE MOTER.
do you have to drain oil?
Yes drain and refill the transmission oils.
I just got that same code and transmission started slipping
I was told to check transmission fluid with engine off
It work both ways. I check it both ways.
manual says only measure the ATF after running the car 16kilometers turn of engine and measure it after 60 seconds but not morethan 90 seconds, It make sense because ATF expands in hot temperature, also only use Honda ATF
I got Honda Civic 2003 model. The D light is blinking
Why the case bro
The D light. You mean on the shifter indicator?
Not good
Transmission speed sensor
Did it work what happened ?
Yes it work
So the customer in this video doesn’t need to replace the
Transmission ??
@@savvyviral9681 Didn't need to replace the transmission. To fix the linear solenoid and change fluids, total parts around $150. If you want to replace the tranny, it cost around $1,500.
You didn’t explain what the symptoms were that brought the car to you, and you didn’t show whether the issue was fixed unless the only issue was the codes, which you fixed by disconnecting the battery. All I learned is that you obviously don’t appreciate poor folks that can’t afford new transmissions.
Did you read the discerption?
