I’ve said this on some Reddit threads and I’m going to say it here. I think this band puts out some really special stuff. I can’t say that they sound all that different from a lot of newer bands in the “gaze/space/new grunge,” but something about their approach just stands out to me. It might be their tuning because I’m a big fan of a thick guitar sound from bands like Hum and Shiner and I think they do a similar kind of thing. Loving the dejected sounding vocals too. Good shit Downward 🤘🏻
These guys always blew every other band out of the water when my band used to play with them. Awesome to see them still doing the thing and starting to get the recognition they deserve ❤

I had a great time watching this Drew. "Whats the resolution on this camera" was so funny! It was my first time listening and it was a great introduction. The Waltz was my favorite. Let me know when I can buy a vinyl.

The Waltz is probably my favorite lyrically too, 'Cut my hair off because it's useless' just kinda hits me in a different way idk why, it's so simple but feels so defeated in a way that just resonates when I'm feelin kinda fucked

such an amazing band. truly one of the best. however the bass mix on this is truly awful .. first time i’ve been significantly disappointed with an audiotree from an audial perspective. that being said thanks for continuing to support and showcase some of the best bands right now.

Gehenna (amongst many other songs of theirs) hooked me on this band, so heavy and dreamy and dark at the same time. These guys are great
