In early 2020 I was planning a trip to Austin with my ex for like April or May. I looked up random bands that were playing and it was all just country. I stumbled upon delta sleep playing at some random bar and looked em up on Spotify and bought tickets for the show. Been one of my favorite bands ever since. The trip ended up getting cancelled because of covid, but the album sort of became “our” album. We played it for like a week straight on a cabin trip one winter. She even got me the ghost vinyl for Christmas one year. We’re no longer together, but this random ass band I found means a lot to me because of all the stuff associated with one album in my past.
Spring Island was my source of comfort while grieving the passing of my grandma in 2021. i guess it's safe to say you guys saved me while i was in my lowest. Thank you so much, Delta Sleep. You guys have a special place in my heart.
Lake Sprinkle Sprankle and Strongthany helped me go through Covid times, and they are still my most heard songs of all time. I don't know how to thank you guys enough, just thank you so fuckin much.

We really have come full circle! The first Audio Tree session was how I discovered Delta Sleep. Then later that year I got to catch them live at a small venue in Sacramento CA. They really are such a good live band. I also got all their Autographs on Ghost City. They were fantastic blokes! Dave even took time to talk shop about his bass rig witn me(a fellow bassist named Dave). So this is really a specisl moment and i hope some new folks find this band, cause they are genuine. Genuinly good, genuinely great guys!
@Matheus-dj9sq this makes me so sad. I've been waiting for literally any news regarding them. Even a "hey we're on hiatus" would be better than the ghosting we currently got.
@@zacharydonnachie1 I agree. The best clue we had was an Instagram comment where the TTNG page confirmed that they want to reunite when Tim's child is older. But we don't know if this would be like months or years older. And the comment suggests they would first reunite for a new album, not for a tour.
@Matheus-dj9sq Oh wow, I didn't realize that. When did they make that announcement? Honestly, I just feel lucky to have seen them multiple times and for the tour when Stewart came back for the animals anniversary.
@@zacharydonnachie1 They didn't announce. Someone commented that in a Instagram post and asked them to confirm. They replied "that's the plan" and that's all we got. You were lucky to see them live. I'm brazillian and I started listening to TTNG one month after the only show they ever made in Brazil. Terrible timing LOL
Seeing this makes me appreciate how much passion, love and energy they put into their live shows. I saw them open for The Dear Hunter in SLC (I wish Delta Sleep was headlining) and despite it not being a publicity session for a massive audience on the internet, it was actually FAR far better than this Audiotree live performance. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. They were able to channel the energy from the audience and give us all the medicine we needed. Thanks!
i was waiting for the S2 of delta sleep since a start listen to them, my fav math rock band, i was really lucky to see them on Chile, a really amazing show and i was even luckier to have the chance to take a pic with Dev. You guys are amazing and in my heart will always wait for you to come back to my country
These boys are absolutely fuĆĶ!ng it up! I can't believe this band isn't huge. Every person in this band is amazing. I love how they incorporate parts of songs into other songs.
Just noticed Dev isnt holding a pick, or at least for Planet Fantastic. Dev has impressive ability to never flub his guitar parts, even when he's playing technical riffs and singing
Absolutely incredible! Also, Dev's voice sounded so friggin good at the end of softest touch! Almost sounded like an R&B singer or something! You 4 never disappoint. I've been to hundreds of shows over the years but you guys take the cake. Hope you come through VA next time you're in the States!
I listened and I couldn't believe how intertwined interwoven you went from so many different musical for peaks and purchase it was I didn't know how many times this song was going to end but that's always extra extra crispy groovy groovy groovy
