Hey if you make a mistake during one of your DIY videos, just place a highlight video at the end. So many DIY videos on RUclips make everything look so easy. It really makes you feel like an idiot when you fail at something. I like your honesty on how a simple job can become a nightmare!
LOL! So true Caliber50. I just replaced a trim piece on my car. The RUclips video shows a guy removing 4 screws in his fancy garage with no effort whatsoever. I go outside in the windy weather, 3 screws come off no problem, that other must have been double welded on. 45 minutes and many different tools later, I final get the old piece off my car.
I've had low pressure forever, water always comes out spout and head , didnt realize that would fix it but now I see ur video makes total sense. Thnku much 👍
Hi Thanks .... You're right sometimes it's really tough to remplace the old one....that happened to me especially when its been there for many years ....✔
Your so right when you say the tub water spout is hard to remove - I did many - but like you said a little pressure and patience it will come off . Haven't seen your videos in a while - you on vacation ( lol )
Funny you ask, yes I was, a few times lol. When you have as many videos as I do it's not always easy coming up with new good ideas. However, we're making new ones right this second. Some are remakes of so very old ones of mine with more detail.
Man you couldn't stress the importance of carefully removing the old one enough! I broken so many of these things. Luckily I am pretty proficient at soldering
It's extremely important the spout goes on tight with no leaks because if there is a leak, there's a good chance it's going to leak into the cavity behind the tub causing all sorts of nasty problems. I don't agree with providing a video for the average idiot to replace this due to this issue. To be fair, I've seen licensed plumbers with piss poor work as well so it's best for the home owner to just be educated and question all work done by themselves or a tradesman.
I don't have that issue however, the issue I do have is that there's not enough water coming out when I turn on to make bath water. Is there a video to address this? Thanks!

Thank you very much. And how I agree with you for sure.
I agree. I'm a novice when it comes to home repair. The only thing I'm sure of is that almost nothing goes as planned with a project.
And I'll agree with you for sure.

I love your work man. These videos wouldn't be the same without you in front of the camera
You're the best. Thank you so much for that.

This is a great video! You seem really friendly, and give great advice. Thanks, bud!
Love your videos Dom. It was nice to see a new one in my channel list.
Thank you very much. Yeah more in the making.
Thank you. Good video. You've been very helpful!
thanks for the video , I thought that problem is in the spout o ring or something like that and not in the hole tap....
Sure thing. Yeah depending on the spout it could be. Just easier to replace the whole thing. Or one would hope.
Excellent video

Both hot and cold?
@@Askmediy yes.
@@Askmediy it literally takes almost an hour to fill up. I just moved in w/my son. The LL's are cheap so I'll have to take matters in my own hands.
@@Askmediy will replace Saturday. I'll keep you posted.
@@ShermVibes How is the water in the rest of the house, or more so how is the shower at that same tub?
Thanks for showing this.
You bet
Nice post. re:Lol ...Wow good luck. Absolutely.
This is one of those 10 min jobs that can easily turn into an afternoon.
Thanks, what if it only on side with low pressure, and after about 3 min it pops on, I have a well , can you tell me why that happens
Pops on? I'm not really understanding your question.
We replaced the spout and it's still squealing and leaks 🤬 does that mean something else is wrong
Not really. Just sounds like it's not working well.
Before 0:47 versus after 4:33
I Have removed a lot of Them. I would not worry about law I think that be the last thing on there mind .
