As a former a Royal Marine I enjoyed working with the US Marine's. I also enjoyed a 7 week stay at Camp Le Junue back in the early 80s . Jacksonville brings back many happy memories, Big Al's was the place we drank. A good time . Thanks 👍
Question: if I were in the army but wanted to change to marines how does that work I know you get demoted in a way but do you know what that process is or how to start it? I couldn’t find anything online
@@NickVarn yeah I know I’d redo bootcamp which is fine. I’ve tried talking to marine recruiters the one in my city didn’t ever get back to me but when I move I’ll ask another
Gotta grind. There are lots of good materials. Before studying anything for the ASVAB I knew nothing of the mechanical section. 4 cylinders 6 cylinders. May as well be speaking Greek. Find the areas that are tough for you, make flash cards and have people test you. If you know others who are studying study with them. No way around it, and nothing to hate about tests. It's just like physical training you practice each day until one day you wake up the apex predator of test taking!

Marines may have always been faithful. Can't say the same for the government and politicians. They've been everything but.

Partner, a Brit or not, you're still a Marine. Never former.

Talk with a Marine recruiter. You’ll have to go through Marine Boot camp

Now you're doing recruitment ads? Ok, ok.. better the Corps than any others jk
Not recruiting. Gotta watch until the end
It's says speak with your career planner today... that's implying a recruiter correct? Not arguing, just trying to figure this out
