Very fond memories of times in the USMC 1966 MCRD PLATOON 3350 NEXT TO CAMP PENDLETON THEN 29 Palms Followed by 19 months in Vietnam. Thank you to all of you who served. Now here's what I do: I educate people on how they may know they can have eternal life! People are like computers; we have a default mode. It is that we are all sinners, headed toward hell. GOD's Word declares, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God....Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. That if thou shalt call on his name in faith believing, thou shalt be saved. The best decision I ever made was to repent of MY sins and receive The Lord Jesus Christ as My Saviour.
Never made it to be a marine. Now 46 and regret it badly. Circumstances had changed in my life and never could have taken the opportunity. But son did and is now deployed as of 5/22/24 so proud of him that it runs chills. So to honor him and the corp, I run to this and train as hard as I can.
Started running to cadences when my brother joined in 2013. Helped me feel closer to him in boot camp and through his deployments. Finished my first half marathon running to them last year. This video is superior to lots of other USMC cadences on RUclips, so thanks for that! The only suggestion I have is to get rid of the ads. They’re new this week, and I strongly dislike them.
@lunzie thank you very much for sharing your husband's story. My father was in Vietnam as well and struggled raising me and my brother and sister due to his ptsd. One positive thing he did was raise us in the Roman Catholic Church to understand the importance of Jesus christ and his fatherly role. Our serviceman in this country give all just as Jesus did for the betterment of everyone else. I will remember your husband in my daily prayers along with every serviceman in this amazing country. Like toby Keith says so we can sleep in peace at night as we lay down our head. There is someone out there and I am so very grateful for all of you.
I grew up in the Marine corp.. Spent time on both sides of the cadence, it's alot harder then most people think. Alot cannot do it. Definitely makes a man out of you. Better for it and loved it. Listening makes me want to get up and run, but my knees won't let me.
66 times around the sun and still run 3-4 times a week. Not as fast, not as far, but then I'm usually not chasing anyone now. This will make the runs a little easier.

I instantly got flashbacks of being in PT shorts and skivvy shirts ...
going for a brisk trot in 34 degree weather...Standing at attention afterwards
with steam rising from every Marine, like raw power desperate to be released.

Our son just finished the crucible today, These cadence songs being me back to 1981 San Diego 3066. They're good, but we were fortunate to have a couple of phenomenal cadence masters that could keep us entertained through hours of runs and drills. I should build an archive site for them.
30 years ago I took the test twice to join the Marine Corp.. I failed by one point twice.. but I'm proud to say that I tried.. I have a lot love for the USMC.. Semper Fi..
My son did 8 years in the corps as a 0621 sgt. USMC Changed him when he came in sept 2002 he was confident

I am a Canadian and I love this shit. I could listen to it all day long. I love the work work cadence song. Thank you United States armed forces. Keep it going.
Listening to these cadences makes think of the verses my dad used to sing for me when telling me stories of his days as a Devil Dog. Dad was a Vietnam Vet and he wasvfiercely proud of his time in the Corps. Dad always said there was no such thing as a former Marine and I believe him. He also said that Marines were guarding Heavens corridors. Dad went to take his post in 2017 and I can see him in those heavenly Dress Blues. I'm a proud Marine's daughter. I miss my dad and his tales of Parris Island. Our entire family is from SC and we love the Marines

I work out to this every time I go to the gym and I've never been in the service. Very good!
I'm the wife of a retired Marine, and I'm also a sixty-two year old grandmother. I love rebounding every day to this fantastic, motivating video. Thank you whoever put this together because it really, really helps to do my exercise. It also takes me back to the good ole' days of when "we" were in the Marine Corps.
All I can say is Semper Fi my brothers and sisters! Platoon 1063 MCRD San Diego!

@@eddieweigel9490 yes our dad’s definitely saw things and experienced things we could never imagine. My dad didn’t ever like to talk about the things he saw and my mom said he had nightmares about those things for 40 years after the war….. but they did their jobs and thankfully got back home otherwise we wouldn’t be here today. Peace to you and Semper Fi. The Marine Corps definitely runs through our veins too
@mindee3754 my respects and condolences to both of you. Losing a loved one is very hard, not to mention how emotional and depressed one gets. Sending a salute with special honors to all who have lost a warrior. All branch of service. Blessings GySgt Montemayor USMC Retired 77-97 Santa Rosa, Texas

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES
Very fond memories of times in the USMC 1966 MCRD PLATOON 3350 NEXT TO CAMP PENDLETON THEN 29 Palms Followed by 19 months in Vietnam. Thank you to all of you who served.
Now here's what I do:
I educate people on how they may know they can have eternal life!
Amen

Never made it to be a marine. Now 46 and regret it badly. Circumstances had changed in my life and never could have taken the opportunity. But son did and is now deployed as of 5/22/24 so proud of him that it runs chills. So to honor him and the corp, I run to this and train as hard as I can.
My son has been a marine for 6yrs, just turned 23. ..❤
From Hollywood Marine class of '79-This shit still gets me pumped!
God bless our marines, and God bless the United States of America.
Thank you all for your service.
My husband and I both served....Semper Fi my brothers and sisters!
Awesome 👌. Semper Fi
And on the 8th day God made Marines and we've been running this shit ever since. Godspeed Marines! Semper Fi!
Thank you sir. Brings back memories. It's why I served and mentored so many kids into the armed forces.
My beloved Marines !!!! God bless you all and god bless my United States ! Our home, my love, my heart ! Semper Fi
Listening to this in PE while running and lifting
@lunzie thank you very much for sharing your husband's story. My father was in Vietnam as well and struggled raising me and my brother and sister due to his ptsd. One positive thing he did was raise us in the Roman Catholic Church to understand the importance of Jesus christ and his fatherly role. Our serviceman in this country give all just as Jesus did for the betterment of everyone else. I will remember your husband in my daily prayers along with every serviceman in this amazing country. Like toby Keith says so we can sleep in peace at night as we lay down our head. There is someone out there and I am so very grateful for all of you.
Happy Birthday and Semper Fi Marines
Oorah brothers! Wish I could go back to these moto days where we were all screaming cadences together
I grew up in the Marine corp.. Spent time on both sides of the cadence, it's alot harder then most people think. Alot cannot do it. Definitely makes a man out of you. Better for it and loved it. Listening makes me want to get up and run, but my knees won't let me.
My normal 2 mi turned into 6 miles this morning 🌅 thank you for that motivation.
ONCE a Marine ALWAYS a Marine OOORAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!
66 times around the sun and still run 3-4 times a week. Not as fast, not as far, but then I'm usually not chasing anyone now. This will make the runs a little easier.
Just found out my 19 year old daughter broke her pelvis in week 5… she is staying and starting over next crew… that is perseverance! Ooooraaah Semper Fi Maren!
