Love Argentina, love Mar del Plata, love the F28 (flew on United Burma Airways, as was, to Rangoon, now Yangon, in 1983).

Thanks for your feedback and glad to hear you liked the video, despite my small mishap of not filming the entire approach. I also flew on other F28s in the past, one flight was from USH on Aerolineas in 1984. Uruguay is also nice, I was there a few days earlier and I flew on Air Class's 727 from MVD to EZE which was great. And yes, the engines are RR Speys, a very distinctive tinnitus-creating noise...

Amazing! Great to see your videos again. My last and only time I flew on a F28 was in 1989 with Aerolineas Argentinas on the LV-MZD. That very same plane (the only MK4000 in the fleet of 4) suffered a runway excursion at VLG under heavy rain a few days later and was damaged beyond repair. There are two videos in my channel about that flight.

Thanks for your feedback. Nice memory, I have seen the story of LV-MZD. I flew on one of their 732s LV-LIU in 1984 which later crashed in Ushuaia. Hopefully I can keep the pace with uploading more stuff, my backlog is huge. Unfortunately the majority of my enthusiast flights are in the cockpit and due to privacy reasons I cannot publish the video later on.

@@LogMyWorld great! I also have tons of videos in the backlog but no time to edit/upload.
Would love to see more videos of your flights with LADE.

Wow, that’s a classic one! After the retirement of the DC-9 in Africa, does that mark the retirement for all passenger DC-9’s?

That’s a real jet engine! They don’t make them like that anymore…

    Gracias
