    Great video just starting out in the King Air, real pilot but not rated for twins, stopped flying about five years ago, Sims are the only thing that I fly now, MS2020 best ever.

      Pro trick: you can watch series on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

    Thank you for a fantastic video, you answered a number of questions I had after piloting the Kingair350 using Loc. I’ve now Subbed

    Many many thanks! That was a very good tutorial! As for the reverse pitch, you can press F2 on your keyboard. It's also assignable on your joystick or yoke.

    Fantastic tutorial. Didn’t know you can get to the FMS via split button on 350i

    Great video, just switched to the 350i and its 2022 - still cannot find out how to engage reverse thrust or prop feather ;)

      F1 to Cut throttle. Then keep pressing F2 to increase the reverse thrust.

    Great video! So we cant set the decision height into the King Air, we just should know it for reference when landing, is that correct?

    • @ccacrislan
      @ccacrislan  2 года назад

      that is correct, unfortunately the King Air at the moment is one of worst simulations in every aspect. Avionics specially is a complete disaster. So basically in my opinion, not usable for any serious flight. Hopefully one day they will start from scratch and fix everything.

      @@ccacrislan I have liked the B350 a little, but it does seem kinda funky at times... I've mysteriously had the autopilot try to flip the plane even though the FD is pointing straight ahead lol
      what other planes would you recommend in this sim? So far ive liked the FBWa320, CRJ(payware from Aerosoft) and the CJ4 with the working title mod. Would appreciate any recommendations from you!

    Hello
    Excellent! One question. Does navigraph is free?

    • @ccacrislan
      @ccacrislan  3 года назад

      Hi, no, Navigraph is a monthly or annual subscription paid service, but well worth it, specially if you fly outside US. If you plan to fly only inside US, then you can use skyvector.com/ for all the charts for free. Thanks for watching.

      LittleNavMap is also very good IMO and free.

    Great video, thanks. One question about the APPR button, when would you use that?

    • @ccacrislan
      @ccacrislan  3 года назад +3

      Thanks for watching, the APPR button is to be used when:
      1. You have the approach loaded and correctly compared against the chart so everything matches.
      2. You have the navaids selected and correctly identified, except of course in a RNAV(GNSS) type approach.
      3. You have the proper indications (localizar and glideslope if applicable) in view.
      4. You are within 20 dme from the runway, final approach fix is active waypoint, if applicable,
      5. You have ATC clearance for the approach.
      Best regards.

    Many thanks for sharing this video, very useful, as I am still learning how to fly the King Air 350i in MSFS. I agree about the "USER" waypoint that the sim enters into the flight plan, it seems very strange and is not something that I have seen before in other sims?? Regards from the UK :-)

    • @ccacrislan
      @ccacrislan  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching and you are correct, is not something we have seen before in other sims, because there is nothing like that in real life, that is why I wonder how did they come up with that silly idea. Anyway, this new sim is still in its infancy and lets hope that they will keep improving it, specially the avionics that need a lot, actually a ton of work.... cheers.

    Hello! Thanks very much for the usefull video. I've learned a lot.
    I was trying to set the ADF in this model but dont know how. Can U help me?

    • @ccacrislan
      @ccacrislan  3 года назад +1

      Hi Antonio, glad you liked the video, with respect to the ADF, unfortunately the King Air does not have an ADF installed in this version. If you want to practice with NDBs you need to select a different airplane like the TBM. Cheers.

    Why do most MSFS 2020 tutorials start in the air with no information as to how to get there so you can follow along? Also the instructors talk over your head. Worthless information.

    • @larrynuss1258
      @larrynuss1258 3 года назад +1

      This one obviously starts in the air because you have to be in the air in order to fly the ILS approach. If instructors are talking over your head, perhaps you need to start with some more basic tutorials, perhaps even read some manuals, such as those available to read/download on the FAA's site.

      Might I suggest a couple of these. Both start with the basics and one does a quick 'loop around the track' and lands again. ruclips.net/video/z85ic8RKNEE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/1RjFXfQlWp4/видео.html

    Great, on a SIM to learn how to fly a plane and put it on autopilot lol.
