    Hi! Thanks for the video, I've just landed with the ILS for the first time, and the first time one never forgets... Most of the tutorials on the internet are 3 years old, and they still use the MFS, what made me believe I had a bug and has created a big confusion. Thanks again!

    That was one of the best explanations of what you were doing and how to fly the King Air. I now just have to watch it a few more times for it to sink into my ancient head. Well worth a sub.

    I loved this explanation and caught a few Canadian accent features in your narration! Aboot..... for example... It was an awesome flight and I just can't believe technology can make flight in such terrible conditions possible. It's a very impressive human feat of engineering. Thanks again for all the great information... especially the link to airport data. You've done an amazing job of demystifying the process... Jerry from Fort Worth Tx. I subscribed yesterday.

    Enjoyed that . Thank you.
    I don't think the ground handler survived this. Hehe. 🤕

      I think you are correct. Probably the ground handler got hit by the prop which will require a full investigation.😨

    I’ve had issues with the king air not showing the approach waypoints

    Great explanations, thanks. One question. At about 18:20 the plane began rapidly descending and you said, "this thing's descending so I'm going to hit Approach." Does that mean the A/P will start following the Glideslope BEFORE switching to Approach mode? If so, why is it necessary to switch to Approach mode at all? Thank you for your time and effort!

    • @IFRSKIES
      @IFRSKIES  8 месяцев назад

      I'm not really sure why that happened. It could be a little glitch on this flight. Normally if you do not activate approach mode it will fly through the glide slope and not pick it up in MSFS. So you should hit the approach mode button when you are close on on LOC1. If you are at too high an altitude on approach it will fly above the glide slope and not pick it up.

    Incredible tutorial. One question, is there no ingame/on flight list for the runway approach radio frequency?

    • @IFRSKIES
      @IFRSKIES  8 месяцев назад

      Not that I am aware of. Often when you load a flight plan MSFS will auto load the correct runway frequency in active or standby mode for you on many of the aircraft. I always double check using little Navmap, Skyvector, flightplandatabase or other sources if you google.

      Yes there is, you can click the screen and select the flight plan there. Check out this video ruclips.net/video/gPeUjfg-S98/видео.html
