At this point I’d rather they just reboot the show or make a flash animated series. Superman has an animated series, as does Batman and both turned out great so I’d watch the hell out of a flash animated series(preferably starring wally west)

Cicada really needed the graphic novel format the most. And then the writers realized this Cicada wouldn't kill humans, didn't have a grand evil plan, he was simple and nice motivation. So we fucking got Cicada 2 who can do everything the writers need to and is everything Cicada 1 wasn't.
I think(haha) The Thinker is a better villain than Savitar imo. He was a lot more menacing and he had a much better backstory. Savitar looked cool but wasn’t as good of a villain.
Grants phenomenal acting and while confusing interesting storytelling brought for some great character IMO no like that great but I really have a bias for savitar!
Respect your opinion Devoe is underrated but Imo Savitar was the best. They could've done soo much with savitar's backstory like he was a time remnant and he traveled back in time for revenge and had a family or something and he has to keep himself alive kinda like that and ofc they messed up with flashpoint. The Flash big bad ranking 1. Reverse-Flash (Flash's most iconic nemesis on the show ever as he pretty much started his origin story by killing Barry Allen's mom) 2. Zoom (Flash's most scariest and darkest enemy he ever faced, as he brutally broke his back, stole his speed, and killed his father) 3. Bloodwork (another great dark villain who managed to mess up the Flash in choosing life or death during his upcoming Crisis; going as far as showing him the life he could have wanted with his daughter who has yet to be born in the new timeline or even forcing him to go against the Speed Force that parallels Nora Allen's death) 4. Thinker (great intellectual villain who orchestrated a lot of things like framing Barry and temporarily took Ralph Dibny away from him, a great rivalry and actor, specifically Neil Sandilands) 5. Savitar (a good rivalry and design, but his season really drag on the whole reveal and he should been just called Future Flash) 6. Godspeed (a pretty decent villain with a good actor, a solid motivation, and a very comic accurate costume. Although his story arc should have been longer, i definitely like the conflict that he brings to Team Flash with his cloned army) 7. Speed Force (Michelle Harrison's villainous performance was fine at best, but the overall storyline with the Speed Force and it's siblings sucked) 8. Mirror Monarch (interesting powers and design of her costume, far more better than Sam Scudder. Just wished she was more villainous instead of being redeemable) 9. Cicada (a fine backstory and interesting take on the character's powers in comparison to his counterpart from the comics. However, after the 100th episode, Dwyer just became a villain-of-the-week type of character to the point where Team Flash just do nothing but let him fly away instead of catching him) 10. Grace Gibbons (while she is a bit better than her uncle, the adult Grace Gibbons was overall just generically evil and the same as Dwyer, before his redemption, throughout the last couple of episodes)

In defense of Tom Cavanagh’s Reverse Flash after season 1, they tried to get Matt Letscher for his appearances after season 1 but couldn’t because of scheduling conflicts he’s had with other projects and he couldn’t get to Vancouver in time to film. If Thawne had been played by anyone else besides Tom Cavanagh or Matt Letscher for those appearances it would’ve made no sense and would’ve come out of nowhere so seeing him be played by someone who’s already played the part in the show made more sense for them. The way Thawne came back in the season 7 finale I agree didn’t make too much sense on why he looked like Wells especially with the way they left things with him in season 6 and should be explained, but it most likely was Tom because he was still in Vancouver in between filming the flash and directing the Superman and Lois finale and with the border restrictions with Covid at the time they weren’t gonna fly in another actor and have them quarantine for two weeks to be in three minutes of the finale so it made more sense to use an actor who’s already in Vancouver that can just show up who’s already played the part before

Also the Armageddon crossover should have Matt as ReverseFlash they definitely don't have an alibi for that
Godspeed was such a wasted character. By making him from the future in this show, they take away the personal relationship to Barry that made the original character so compelling.
@@mohdmirzan7565 Why the hell would they? He is a good showrunner. Season 6A was as good as season 1 and 2. Then 6B while not as good was still good. Season 7 wasn't great, but it had a lot of hurdles. It had to deal with 2 actors leaving, Hartley's firing, finishing last season's story, having less episodes, covid restrictions, etc. Also 7B was a big improvement from 7A. The Armageddon event is looking to be really good as well. Sometimes we get a not so great season in the arrowverse. It doesn't mean we should fire Eric Wallace.
The thinker would've been better without the body switching and other powers. And if the writers needed him to have the extra powers, just put them into the actual thinker's body

When the speed force was a villain no one had any expectations, but the expectations for Godspeed had been building up throughout season 6. I fell off the Flash awhile back, so from what I've seen, I'll just say my favorite villain and my least favorite villain. My favorite is probably either Zoom or Bloodwork. Both dark and scary villains, who has a sad and tragic backstory. Both losing their mothers, the last thing they cared about before turning evil. My least favorite, however, (Please Don't Hate Me, Disagree With Me All You Want) is Tom Cavanaugh Reverse Flash. I used to love his character, but in retrospect, I realized he is a terribly written villain. He has a convoluted backstory, shrouded in plotholes, and more importantly, his motivation is forced and poorly executed. His only motivation is that "I Can't Be The Flash! So I'll Kill Your Mother, Scar You As A Child For Life, Just Because I Can't Be Like You!" He has no character development whatsoever. Please, Please be civil.
I feel like Tom's reverse flash was initially great in season 1 but the more he showed up in season 4, 5, 6, etc, the less intimidating he became and the more boring he got.
Zoom at that time on season 2 was faster than reverse flash and Barry. Barry was able to outrun him only with the tachyon device at the end of the season. So no reverse flash was not stronger than zoom neither at speed and neither at physical strength.
They need to bring Matt back as Reverse-Flash. Like we all love Tom in the role but we haven’t seen Matt in the role since Legends Season 2! Matt did appear in the role through archive footage in Season 7 of The Flash though.
Considering how they did Godspeed, Emiko Queen, Diaz, Mirror Master, Icicle, The Shade, Red Tornado, Savitar, Black Fash, The Rival, Ect. I wouldn’t hold my breath

Godspeed got so fucked over by the writers. In the context of the show, here we have a speedster from the future with artificial speed who can steal speed, create MULTIPLE clones of himself, AND has the ability to construct weapons with the speed force. Godspeed in the show has so many OP abilities and it's such a shame his storyline got rushed to hell. He could have been an amazing villain but the writers gave him no philosophy or any reasonable motives for him doing the things he does. He is such a nothing character and it is such a shame with how much potential he had.
I kind of agree about getting tired of seeing Tom play Thawne except in season 5. I liked him there. However, it does still make sense. He stole Wells' body. He used future tech to do so. We don't know how this tech works. I think season 7 was the perfect opportunity to bring him back. He should have been left in the negative speedforce and when brought back to fight Godspeed he would now look like Matt Letscher again.

I've always said that instead of Savitar, it would have been great if for season 3, we could have gotten _the Rogues_ as the main villain. If they could all unite for a single goal, maybe not "all" but at least => Captain Cold Heatwave Golden Glider Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) the Tricksters (James Jesse & Axel Walker) Captain Boomerang That makes 7 Rogues, 7 is good! Especially if they combine their abilities to take out Barry after failing to kill him individually in the first 2 seasons. Maybe have someone like Pied Piper join them at first, then leave the group when he realizes that they're about to kill a whole lot of people just to get to the Flash and his crew. Plus this group of 7 is like 2 groups of 3 in case of an inside conflict toward the end of the season, with the trio Cold/Heatwave/Glider being more reasonable than Mark Mardon, both Tricksters (they've shown they work well allied with Weather Wizard in the past, and weren't afraid of casualties) and the ever backstabbing Captain Boomerang could form the less stable part of the Rogues... Now for the finale, for the last duel between Barry and Leonard Snart, have Captain Cold find the *Black Ice Gun* from the comics, built by the Black Hole as an ice gun that taps directly into the speedforce, can freeze the Flash or an entire city if needed. That should be good enough for a last couple episodes of cool action.

I think Savitar is a bit underrated here. If he wasn’t the 3rd speedster in a row he would be seen as a top 3 villain. If they switched around seasons 3 and 4, I think it would remove the speedster fatigue and make Savitar a much more satisfying villain

I agree that its weird to explain plotwise bout the Speedforce bein an antagonist but its interesting if only based on what complications could arise for the Flash due to fighting it. Which, couldve been done better than what we were given but at least theres a reason to want to see how things go down based off that. Unlike the Speedforce, CWs Godspeed wannabe Power Ranger antagonist was ruined back in his first appearance in S5. Then they rubbed it in your face in S6x01's intro. Then when he returns later that season, you have hope hed be done right, then they took that away by the end of the same episode by having him digress... Off Screen! So by the time the Godspeed War started, the only thing fans of the character or the comics wanted was for this wannabe to crash so hard, the show would be put outta our misery. On your list you said, he doesn't get bottom of your list due to bein a speedster? Well might I remind you that the Speedforce is a speedster while in human form? And she actually did more than he ever did in this show as such. In fact, Id go as far as to counter that the main action of Godspeed trying to showoff his "speedster abilities" is not only nough to prove that aforementioned point but also nough of a reason as to why Godspeed shouldnt earn a higher place due to bein a Speedster when he goes down like a sack of potatoes after a lightsaber duel. Sorry, different franchise. Uh- hem, Lightning Sabre duel. And its for these reasons, that I say that CWs Power Ranger Antagonist aka Godspeed Wannabe, is the actual worst series antagonist.

I also like Matt Lettcher as Eobard Thawne but in season 5 tom Cavanagh was better for the role because remember last episode is called legacy, and Barry's legacy with thawne is in wells face, we only as Matt on the flash in season 1 finale for a minute and is season 3 for one episode so Tom Cavanagh works more as Eobard is season 5 at least
I read an article that stated that Tom played RF in Season 5 because of the “legacy” theme of the season. Obviously, when Thawne mentored Barry, he was wearing his Wells face. That’s the face that he needs to use to mentor his daughter for the season to qualify as a “legacy” theme. I agree that it made sense in that way, but Thawne’s other appearances from Crisis on Earth-X to Season 7 should’ve had Matt in the role. They NEED to bring him back for Season 8. Especially if Season 8 is the last season.
Arrow was so much better making main villains and giving conclusions to their storylines on season finales (except Emiko) and even on recurring villians like Deadshot, Tobias Church or Brick.
Fr, I’m not finished with arrow (on season 5) but the villains and just writing in general Is 100x better than the flash. Sucks to say it especially since I loved the first 4 seasons but…it’s true.
@@dallashewitt3742 flash only great villain is thawne, zoom is pretty good but it's not great for me. Merlyn, Deathstroke and Prometheus are top Arrowverse villain (even after they ruined Malcolm in s4). And Ra's, darhk, or s6 villain (you'll get to know it) are pretty good actually.

I have given it some thought and as someone who dose watch Tokusatsu (Power Rangers, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, ect.) Godspeed is worse then most toku villians. Toku villians actully have intresting plots. Godspeed just wants to get faster. They ruined the character.

He felt very unfinished with plot holes. The new villains might have just been subpar but I don't think they're as bad as Savi.

Cicada really needed the graphic novel format the most. And then the writers realized this Cicada wouldn't kill humans, didn't have a grand evil plan, he was simple and nice motivation. So we fucking got Cicada 2 who can do everything the writers need to and is everything Cicada 1 wasn't.

I think(haha) The Thinker is a better villain than Savitar imo. He was a lot more menacing and he had a much better backstory. Savitar looked cool but wasn’t as good of a villain.
Grants phenomenal acting and while confusing interesting storytelling brought for some great character IMO no like that great but I really have a bias for savitar!
Respect your opinion Devoe is underrated but Imo Savitar was the best. They could've done soo much with savitar's backstory like he was a time remnant and he traveled back in time for revenge and had a family or something and he has to keep himself alive kinda like that and ofc they messed up with flashpoint. 2. Zoom (Flash's most scariest and darkest enemy he ever faced, as he brutally broke his back, stole his speed, and killed his father)

Bloodwork (another great dark villain who managed to mess up the Flash in choosing life or death during his upcoming Crisis; going as far as showing him the life he could have wanted with his daughter who has yet to be born in the new timeline or even forcing him to go against the Speed Force that parallels Nora Allen's death)
4. Thinker (great intellectual villain who orchestrated a lot of things like framing Barry and temporarily took Ralph Dibny away from him, a great rivalry and actor, specifically Neil Sandilands)
5. Savitar (a good rivalry and design, but his season really drag on the whole reveal and he should been just called Future Flash)
6. Godspeed (a pretty decent villain with a good actor, a solid motivation, and a very comic accurate costume. Although his story arc should have been longer, i definitely like the conflict that he brings to Team Flash with his cloned army)
7. Speed Force (Michelle Harrison's villainous performance was fine at best, but the overall storyline with the Speed Force and it's siblings sucked)
8. Mirror Monarch (interesting powers and design of her costume, far more better than Sam Scudder. Just wished she was more villainous instead of being redeemable)
9. Cicada (a fine backstory and interesting take on the character's powers in comparison to his counterpart from the comics. However, after the 100th episode, Dwyer just became a villain-of-the-week type of character to the point where Team Flash just do nothing but let him fly away instead of catching him)
10. Grace Gibbons (while she is a bit better than her uncle, the adult Grace Gibbons was overall just generically evil and the same as Dwyer, before his redemption, throughout the last couple of episodes)

In defense of Tom Cavanagh’s Reverse Flash after season 1, they tried to get Matt Letscher for his appearances after season 1 but couldn’t because of scheduling conflicts he’s had with other projects and he couldn’t get to Vancouver in time to film. If Thawne had been played by anyone else besides Tom Cavanagh or Matt Letscher for those appearances it would’ve made no sense and would’ve come out of nowhere so seeing him be played by someone who’s already played the part in the show made more sense for them. The way Thawne came back in the season 7 finale I agree didn’t make too much sense on why he looked like Wells especially with the way they left things with him in season 6 and should be explained, but it most likely was Tom because he was still in Vancouver in between filming the flash and directing the Superman and Lois finale and with the border restrictions with Covid at the time they weren’t gonna fly in another actor and have them quarantine for two weeks to be in three minutes of the finale so it made more sense to use an actor who’s already in Vancouver that can just show up who’s already played the part before

While I agree about the schedulimg thing, it hasn't been a problem for a long time, also s7 had the ReverseFlash come outta nowhere they should have just let it be, his existence makes no sense, if they wanted to use him, the he should have had a longer appearance, maybe even meet again with Nora, and be a constant threat, it would have justified flying in another actor.
Also the Armageddon crossover should have Matt as ReverseFlash they definitely don't have an alibi for that

@@mohdmirzan7565 Why the hell would they? He is a good showrunner. Season 6A was as good as season 1 and 2. Then 6B while not as good was still good. Season 7 wasn't great, but it had a lot of hurdles. It had to deal with 2 actors leaving, Hartley's firing, finishing last season's story, having less episodes, covid restrictions, etc. Also 7B was a big improvement from 7A. The Armageddon event is looking to be really good as well. Sometimes we get a not so great season in the arrowverse. It doesn't mean we should fire Eric Wallace.

I fell off the Flash awhile back, so from what I've seen, I'll just say my favorite villain and my least favorite villain. My favorite is probably either Zoom or Bloodwork. Both dark and scary villains, who has a sad and tragic backstory. Both losing their mothers, the last thing they cared about before turning evil. My least favorite, however, (Please Don't Hate Me, Disagree With Me All You Want) is Tom Cavanaugh Reverse Flash. I used to love his character, but in retrospect, I realized he is a terribly written villain. He has a convoluted backstory, shrouded in plotholes, and more importantly, his motivation is forced and poorly executed. His only motivation is that "I Can't Be The Flash! So I'll Kill Your Mother, Scar You As A Child For Life, Just Because I Can't Be Like You!" He has no character development whatsoever. Please, Please be civil.

Zoom at that time on season 2 was faster than reverse flash and Barry. Barry was able to outrun him only with the tachyon device at the end of the season. So no reverse flash was not stronger than zoom neither at speed and neither at physical strength.
They need to bring Matt back as Reverse-Flash. Like we all love Tom in the role but we haven’t seen Matt in the role since Legends Season 2! Matt did appear in the role through archive footage in Season 7 of The Flash though.

Godspeed got so fucked over by the writers. In the context of the show, here we have a speedster from the future with artificial speed who can steal speed, create MULTIPLE clones of himself, AND has the ability to construct weapons with the speed force. Godspeed in the show has so many OP abilities and it's such a shame his storyline got rushed to hell. He could have been an amazing villain but the writers gave him no philosophy or any reasonable motives for him doing the things he does. He is such a nothing character and it is such a shame with how much potential he had.

I kind of agree about getting tired of seeing Tom play Thawne except in season 5. I liked him there. However, it does still make sense. He stole Wells' body. He used future tech to do so. We don't know how this tech works. I think season 7 was the perfect opportunity to bring him back. He should have been left in the negative speedforce and when brought back to fight Godspeed he would now look like Matt Letscher again.
In legends of tomorrow, he changed his face in a second.

Maybe have someone like Pied Piper join them at first, then leave the group when he realizes that they're about to kill a whole lot of people just to get to the Flash and his crew.
Plus this group of 7 is like 2 groups of 3 in case of an inside conflict toward the end of the season, with the trio Cold/Heatwave/Glider being more reasonable than Mark Mardon, both Tricksters
(they've shown they work well allied with Weather Wizard in the past, and weren't afraid of casualties)
and the ever backstabbing Captain Boomerang could form the less stable part of the Rogues...
Now for the finale, for the last duel between Barry and Leonard Snart, have Captain Cold find the *Black Ice Gun* from the comics, built by the Black Hole as an ice gun that taps directly into the speedforce, can freeze the Flash or an entire city if needed.
That should be good enough for a last couple episodes of cool action.

Do you think Godspeed would’ve been good if COVID didn’t happen since they had the behind the scenes problems and had to cut the season down by 8 episodes (including the first three of Eva)
It would’ve been better if those two filler episodes would’ve been the start of the Godspeed storyline

I think Savitar is a bit underrated here. If he wasn’t the 3rd speedster in a row he would be seen as a top 3 villain. If they switched around seasons 3 and 4, I think it would remove the speedster fatigue and make Savitar a much more satisfying villain

Season 4:he was there for crisis on earth x

Season 6: I think he took over nashed body I forgot what season that was because it was too forgettable

I agree that its weird to explain plotwise bout the Speedforce bein an antagonist but its interesting if only based on what complications could arise for the Flash due to fighting it. Which, couldve been done better than what we were given but at least theres a reason to want to see how things go down based off that.
Unlike the Speedforce, CWs Godspeed wannabe Power Ranger antagonist was ruined back in his first appearance in S5. Then they rubbed it in your face in S6x01's intro. Then when he returns later that season, you have hope hed be done right, then they took that away by the end of the same episode by having him digress... Off Screen! So by the time the Godspeed War started, the only thing fans of the character or the comics wanted was for this wannabe to crash so hard, the show would be put outta our misery.
On your list you said, he doesn't get bottom of your list due to bein a speedster? Well might I remind you that the Speedforce is a speedster while in human form? And she actually did more than he ever did in this show as such. In fact, Id go as far as to counter that the main action of Godspeed trying to showoff his "speedster abilities" is not only nough to prove that aforementioned point but also nough of a reason as to why Godspeed shouldnt earn a higher place due to bein a Speedster when he goes down like a sack of potatoes after a lightsaber duel. Sorry, different franchise. Uh- hem, Lightning Sabre duel. And its for these reasons, that I say that CWs Power Ranger Antagonist aka Godspeed Wannabe, is the actual worst series antagonist.

they really dropped the ball with godspeed i was so excited when i hurd they were doing that storyline and the only superhero content that disappointed me more was thor love and thunder but i did think the lightning sword fight that was kinda cool but didnt really make sense

Reverse Flash,Zoom,Bloodwork,and the Thinker are the best villains of the Flash series,but the rest of CW's garbage dumpster fire are some of the worst villains I have ever seen in my life that will make me despise and hate forever,also Savitar could have been a good villain IF WALLY WEST WAS SAVITAR INSTEAD OF A BARRY CLONE,ZOOM WAS ALREADY THE EVIL DOPPELGANGER OF THE FLASH,WE DIDN'T NEEDED ANOTHER.
I also like Matt Lettcher as Eobard Thawne but in season 5 tom Cavanagh was better for the role because remember last episode is called legacy, and Barry's legacy with thawne is in wells face, we only as Matt on the flash in season 1 finale for a minute and is season 3 for one episode so Tom Cavanagh works more as Eobard is season 5 at least
I read an article that stated that Tom played RF in Season 5 because of the “legacy” theme of the season. Obviously, when Thawne mentored Barry, he was wearing his Wells face. That’s the face that he needs to use to mentor his daughter for the season to qualify as a “legacy” theme.
I agree that it made sense in that way, but Thawne’s other appearances from Crisis on Earth-X to Season 7 should’ve had Matt in the role. They NEED to bring him back for Season 8. Especially if Season 8 is the last season.
Arrow was so much better making main villains and giving conclusions to their storylines on season finales (except Emiko) and even on recurring villians like Deadshot, Tobias Church or Brick.

@@dallashewitt3742 flash only great villain is thawne, zoom is pretty good but it's not great for me. Merlyn, Deathstroke and Prometheus are top Arrowverse villain (even after they ruined Malcolm in s4). And Ra's, darhk, or s6 villain (you'll get to know it) are pretty good actually.
@@ecola2479 I agree. Though, I did like Savitar, but I understand that that is a very unpopular opinion lol. For me, all arrow villains are tied except Malcolm and Prometheus. Prometheus is definitely better written but Malcolm screaming “It is I who failed this city!” Never gets old.

I have given it some thought and as someone who dose watch Tokusatsu (Power Rangers, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, ect.) Godspeed is worse then most toku villians. Toku villians actully have intresting plots. Godspeed just wants to get faster. They ruined the character.

To comment on Cavanaugh as the Reverse Flash in later seasons, I don't like it simply because Letcher's Thawne actually seems evil compared to Cavanaugh's from S1
I think Savitar is the worst villain for the same reason I think season 3 is the worst season. He felt very unfinished with plot holes. The new villains might have just been subpar but I don't think they're as bad as Savi.
