I started a business with nothing to my name but a few dollies and some moving experience, and turned it into a functioning business that allows me to work for myself. I choose to work alone the majority of the time because I can, and with a little experience, you can too, if you need to or want to!
My everyday Equipment that I use:
Aluminum Hand Truck with Care Free Tires

4” Rubber Cap Dolly
Upright Dolly Bars (Mattress Bars)
Moving Hump Strap
18 cube Speed Pak
Similar equipment can be found online at moving supply sites, amazon, harbor freight, and much more! Google those exact names I listed!
Trailer I use is a 6.5x12’ Big Tex Utility Trailer with a custom aluminum build with 4’ sides and a
6.5x14’ Big Tex Utility Trailer, with a wood build that I built myself

Thank you. I’m moving the same couch on my own out of my grandpas theatre room. It went smoothly he was impressed with me. Thanks to you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the video, I spent ages trying to take it apart. Did not realise that there was a clip. Just taken me a few minutes once known.
Nice! Glad to hear it! You can also separate them into multiple pieces by removing the bracket on the bottom.
THANKS-A-LOT for posting this♥️
It totally helped me tremendously with my move on today🎉
Nice! Glad it helped
This video just helped alot of people. It's really a game changer because they're rough moving whole😳Another great video!👍🏼👍🏼
I get asked Qs about it on IG so i hope so! And thank you
Yes, very helpful, specially when I’m by my self thanks bro
They are a pain. Wish I knew about this before I moved 😄
@@noahtorres438 You can also take the brackets off on bottom like JunkOut mentioned in the other comment. I personally only do that if its a complicated situation, I go for time over ease.
@@clutterreductionjunkremoval, I'm getting rid of my Catnapper power sofa and between your video and also the one I watched regarding removing the bottom rails I now feel like I can get this out the door on my own. Thank you!
You explained this so clear and thanks for the demonstration. This helped tremendously!
I'm happy to hear it!
OMG thank🌹you😊 soooo sooooo much, i needed to separate mine to clean it, steam it, rah rah rah & i was stressing out assuming that i was going to be in hell but u saved me with this video. All the other 1s i watched were redic. I never watched them put it together so i didnt know what was there besides what I saw just to move it side to side to vacuum or rearrange my living room. Thank🌹you😊 thank🌹you😊 thank🌹you😊 BLESS UR SOUL! I can stop freakin out now WOW 👌
You're welcome! You can also separate them by individual sections by removing the brackets on the bottom. I have another recliner vid showing the separation process

What if the mid section doesn't recline. Will the back still be removable ?
I'm looking at the DFS Landos 3 seater. But not sure if it will get in my gaff.
@@TrueBlade-1889 usually they don’t, it’s often a cup holder. But the backs sometimes still come off by removing 2 knobs underneath the sheath.
However, yes, some models the back doesn’t come off. If you can either disassemble the whole thing into pieces by removing the black bracket on the bottom. I have another video showing that.
Or you can take it out the same way I showed with the dolly, but you’ll have to angle it a bit when that piece enters the door frame
The bottom 3 can't get dismantled? 😮 thanks for the video... very helpful.
Absolutely! There are usually 4-8 bolts on thick plastic washers that hold it all together. I show ways of efficiency for time purposes. This was a 20 min video but I could have this couch out of the house in
When you get the chance could u please make a video demonstrating what you where saying with moving the 1 piece couches
Can you timestamp what you are referring to in the video.. Or are you referring to the comments about taking off the bracket?
from where u bought that mattress bars?
I got them from a moving supply warehouse in my area but you can order them online. Google "dolly upright bars"
@@clutterreductionjunkremoval thank you
I use a big screen driver lol break them off lol
Whatever works when its junk!
Wrong, you didn't use a reciprocating saw to cut it into a bunch of pieces 🍻
LOL no thanks
I appreciate how you are differentiating your content from others junk removal RUclipsrs by showing tips on how to do things in the more efficient and less labor required way . Thanks for the great work
Ya ur hilarious bro 🙄🙄🙄
@@RoyalQueenLadyJD was definitely a joke as I don't really care if you chop them up or not. I probably watched this shortly after cutting up a couch and hauling it out of a basement or something. 🍻
@@redoakpropertycarellc There's a time for it though, sometimes its just not worth the hassle. I personally just don't like cutting furniture up because its messy indoors and I feel as if most people don't want to see there stuff cut in half LOL. But I have done it before since the movers had to hoist it through the balcony when they moved in
Next time you can diasssemble each section of it too Furthur.
Like taking the bracket off to break it in 3 pieces? If so, there's usually 6-8 bolts surrounded by a black rubber washer, usually a hex head. Pop that bracket off and they all break off into individual pieces.
Here's another way ESPECIALLY if the couch is to be junked:

Absolutely, I do this when they're just too annoying to move. But for me its time. Everything I did in this video I could do in 30s just by slapping it on a dolly and taking out vs taking apart the pieces and turning 1 trip into 2-3. But yes, removing that bracket can definitely be a easier route.
