I love your “grown dad”commentary. Especially when you talk about how much stuff must costs. 😂😂😂😂 I crack up every time
Thanks
Patrick Swayze passed away in 2009 due to cancer. He was an actor and a classically trained dancer and even did ballet.
He also knows Martial Arts
RIP
And he was a really good football player also. Had offers from big colleges but injured his knee.
And he could sing too, that one song in the movie, "She's Like the Wind", that's Swayze singing it.
@@totomomo18 No he didn't. He learned stunts that passed as Martial Arts.
Everyone wanted to dance with John Travolta, but I always preferred(dreamed) to dance with Patrick Swayze. Travolta is cool, while Swayze was dreamy.. there's nothing like a good dance lead.. controlling your body like that lol. And yes, Patrick Swayze was a classically trained dancer. His mother owned a ballet studio, and his wife also danced professionally. Ballet dance, I believe. Ghost and Outsiders are 2 favorite Patrick movies.. and I also recommend St. Elmos Fire and Flashdance.. xo great reaction!
He's very talented
Cynthia rhodes (Penny) is in flashdance
Totally agree. I was a Swayze fan from the first time I saw him in a M*A*S*H episode. Then he did it again in The Outsiders and I was hooked forever.
I even like next of kin!!!
@@andreadeamon6419 and "stayin' alive" 😊
I did ballroom and Latin dancing for over 20 years and this film was instrumental in my love of dance. I'd never seen a movie like this at the time and watching Patrick (RIP) move was beautiful. You can tell he was classically trained in ballet.
He was an amazing dancer
@@AwesomeUSMovies in sure you were told but he actually busted his knee while filming the last dance scene and kept going and did the whole thing with a screwed knee. You see him land awkwardly when he jumped off stage. Brilliant
You would love his acting in ghost and point break. Yes he was classically trained as was penny. You would love a lot of movies these 2 star in. Rest in peace dear Patrick.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
@@AwesomeUSMovies POINT BRRAK is also a great Keanu film, and gets referenced in HOT FUZZ.
😉
Partick Swayze was a gem of an actor. You need to watch "Point Break" (him and Keanu Reeves), Ghost (him and Demi Moore), Road House (not his best, but very popular movie).
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Ghost is probably his best movie after Dirty Dancing that he stars in
Donnie Darko is excellent but he's not major in it
@@zerpblerd5966 I think Point Break and To Wong Foo are his strongest work.
One Patrick Swayze film that I liked is "The Outsiders," based on the S.E. Hinton novel. It also has a young Tom Cruise in it, when both were right at the beginning of their careers, and Emilio Estevez as well (the jock from The Breakfast Club). Most of the cast ended up going on to have major success.
One of my favorites. Stay golden.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
@@AwesomeUSMovies Somebody I forgot to mention that you'd recognize - Ralph Macchio, Daniel from The Karate Kid.
Red dawn was after the outsiders for Patrick
@@Anakinskywalkerfan1 Red Dawn is a good suggetsion, Outsiders is meh
This movie tends to get dismissed as a fluffy romance, but it's dealing with some heavy issues. Classism, the sexism of the early 60s and the most pivotal plot point hinges on an illegal abortion. Frighteningly relevant in the wake of Roe v Wade being reversed. Fun to watch, but more depth than it gets credit for.
Agreed, I thought about making a political statement but I want to keep this channel non political
@@AwesomeUSMovies as a woman my very existence and right to healthcare has been made political. I wish I had the luxury to not make things political... 😣
@@AwesomeUSMovies great choice. There is zero fun and enjoyment in politics.
Politics has its place, but it’s not when you just want to enjoy a good movie 👌
There's yet another underlying but unstated social theme of the movie: antisemitism. The story is set in a "Borscht Belt" resort in the Catskills, one of a series of lavish resorts operated by and for Jews who were not welcome at other resorts. An unfortunate side effect of the acceptance and integration of Jews into the broader American society is virtually all the Borscht Belt resorts went out of business. Many still stand to this day as abandoned, skeletal relics of our nation's unsavory past.
@@AwesomeUSMovies sorry movies discuss issues and women are not happy if you try to ignore us all.
Patrick Swayze was such an amazing person and amazing talent!
Yes, he was a professionally trained dancer as well as an actor. But he was more than that too...
One of the songs in this movie, "She's Like the Wind", that's Patrick Swayze singing it!
Some other Patrick Swayze movies worth checking out:
Red Dawn (1984)
Roadhouse (1989)
Ghost (1990)
Best Regards!
All added thanks
I liked red dawn and ghost more then roadhouse but all 3 are his greatest movies
Almost forgot point break with Keanu and swayze
@@steveniedert3416 I've still got to see Point Break myself.
For another really fun Patrick Swayze movie, watch "Ghost." Whoopie Goldberg won an academy award for her role.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
I was 5 years old in 1989 and my grandmother was obsessed with this movie and she bought me the soundtrack to this and I swear I played that album the whole year at least once a day. Now in my 30's this is one of my favourite movies. Luckily my grandmother is still alive and we watch it together once a year.
That's nice
Это так мило и душевно! Это тоже мой самый любимый фильм!
One movie I haven't seen requested is 'Cabaret." It swept the Academy Awards the year it came out, which was 1972. It's set in pre-WWII Germany and stars Liza Minelli, (won for best actress) Michael York, and Joel Grey (Won for best-supporting actor.) Joel Grey is Jennifer Grey's father. I haven't seen many RUclipsrs react to it and it's incredibly worth it.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Jennifer Grey can actually dance, and came from a song and dance family, most famously her father Joel Grey. Jerry Orbach is most known for playing Detective Lenny Briscoe for years on Law and Order, and also as Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. My favorite Patrick Swayze movie is Point Break, where he plays a morally ambiguous character so wonderfully.
Well that's good acting then
Filmed in my home town. Huge HUGE deal. They even have a festival to celebrate it.
That's pretty cool
The edit you did to the music where it made the voices high pitch had me laughing so hard!
I had to do something. I washed to keep it in
Classic, sexy movie. 😎 👍
Fun Fact: The "Cry To Me" love scene has been voted one of the sexiest movie moments in cinematic history.
Hands And Knees Fact: The very famous scene where Johnny and Baby are practicing their dancing and they are crawling towards each other on the floor wasn't intended to be part of the film; they were just messing around and were warming up to do the real scene, but director Emile Ardolino liked it so much, he kept it in the film.
Music Enthusiast Fact: The song "She's Like The Wind" was co-written by Patrick Swayze with Stacy Widelitz and sung by Patrick Swayze himself.
Loved that little factoid
Yes, Patrick Swayze was a trained dancer. His mom ran a dancing school, at which he was a student, (and I think he may have taught too, when he got older). He pursued multiple artistic and athletic skills, such as ice skating, classical ballet, and acting in school plays. He also played football during high school, hoping to receive a football scholarship for college, until a knee injury ended his football career. He concurrently practiced martial arts such as Wushu, Taekwondo, and Aikido. In 1972, he moved to New York City to complete his formal dance training at the Harkness Ballet and Joffrey Ballet schools.
love it
I absolutely loved this film as a kid. I know its a cheesy romance film with ballroom dancing and family drama, but there's something so enjoyable about watching Baby and Johnny fall in love and learning how to be great dance partners. Also, the soundtrack is great in this film.
Patrick Swayze's mom was a dance teacher so he basically grew up in a dance studio. Both he and Cynthia Rhodes were professional dancers as well as actors. Also, they basically filmed the dance scenes in this movie in sequence order so you are actually watching Jennifer Grey go from promising amateur to decent dancer in real time.
Love it thanks
I think Baby’s dad gets misunderstood for his reaction to Penny’s abortion. He asked if Baby was doing anything illegal. Abortion was illegal at that time, and she lied to her father. On top of that, as a doctor he knows what can happen when you deal with a back alley butcher like the one who did Penny’s abortion. As a physician he was horrified at what had transpired and that his daughter was part of it in any way. The man took an oath, and I truly feel he was shaken both as a physician of that era and a father.
Well that's some interesting extra information. Thanks!
wow, I always *knew * this and didn't realize other people didn't realize this about society+culture at the time
that is one of the great things movies do! expose people to all the other lives of people and what that means, through history/time/regions
I watch a lot of foreign movies too, and it's great to learn and feel the experiences of others to develop sense of the world, there's a lot of great stuff out there.
rip Patrick Patrick Swayze was married to his childhood sweetheart Lisa Niemi for 34 years from 1975 until his premature death in 2009 he was a genuine good person..I personally Miss the guy
RIP
Ballroom dancing looks so very pretty. Sometimes, Grandma and I will watch Blackpool dancing competitions during dinner. I've always thought that street dancing was so much more fun.
Wonderful
Yes....Love this movie 😊 another great movie with Patrick Swayze is "Youngblod" 😊 or "Road House" 😊
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Youngblood, haven't seen that in a minute. Pretty sure that was Keanu Reeves first film.
I absolutely second Road House... You being a music buff you will LOVE it! It also has the late, great Jeff Healey and has an amazing soundtrack!
@@russellward4624 I think so too 😊
Patrick Swayze was a professional dancer. His mother ran a studio in Texas where he met his wife Lisa. Cynthia Rhodes had a short Hollywood career during this time prior to Dirty Dancing which featured her dancing as well. Toto's Rosanna music video actually features both Patrick and Cynthia.
Love it thanks
Patrick Swayze's mum was a dance teacher, his dad wanted him to play football. He hurt his knee playing football and went to NY to take up dancing, with a lot of pain in his knee, later he started acting.
awesome thanks
To answer your question: Patrick Swayze was a trained dancer way before he became an actor. In fact, he wanted to be a trained ballet dancer, but had to let that dream go due to knee problems after a sport incidient. So he became a dancer/actor after that.
James if ur wondering why Jennifer and Patrick didn’t have a good relationship it’s bc during the filming of red dawn 1984 the director wanted them to film a love scene and Patrick was married at the time
I haven't seen that, Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
@@AwesomeUSMovies np problem
This is Patrick Swayzes "girl" film, in 1989 he made Roadhouse, his in my opinion finest "man" film. Such a cool cheey but aswesome 80's flick.
I saw this in the theaters when I was 10, I was forced to go with my mom and all my aunts because there was no one to babysit me. And right after we went to the music store and bought the double cassette soundtrack! Still love the soundtrack
That's so cool! They had the soundtrack immediately available right after you watch the movie. Love that!
@@AwesomeUSMovies yes it was in theaters for a while because of how popular it was and the soundtrack was available probably the week it came out
FYI Patrick Swayze grew up in his mother’s dance studio in Houston, where he was born. He was a trained ballet dancer and danced in New York ballets before becoming an actor. Please watch him in the movie Ghost with Demi Moore. He made that movie a couple of years after Dirty Dancing, and it’s the highest grossing of about 20 movies he made. A hilarious one to watch is when he plays a drag queen in “To Wong Fu. thanks for everything. Julie Newmar.” I enjoyed your commentary.
Very interesting thanks
good to see people reacting to this movie. Love both dirty dancing movies.
This movie is special. Yes, it has entertaining dancing segments, but as someone else commented, it presents serious issues. The 60s were a very turbulent era. "Dirty Dancing" packages societal changes in a musical, romantic wrapping. This is an important film.
Great movie. Patrick Swayze wrote the famous song "She's Like the Wind" for this movie. He also a dancer and knows martial arts.
You should watch other Patrick Swayze movies like Roadhouse (A really great action/martial arts movie the was his breakout role), Point Break and Ghost .
Baby (Jennifer Gray) is like you said from Ferris Bueller's Day Off (She was Mathew Brodrick (Ferries) girlfriend at the time).
WOW that's amazing!
Speaking of Ghost, I bet you’d enjoy that movie. Swayze, Whoopi Goldberg, and Demi Moore.
@@AwesomeUSMovies Also, Jennifer Grey's dad is Oscar winner Joel Grey. His most famous film, which was his award winning role, is the musical Cabaret from 1972.
You need to watch the original Red Dawn. It's a regular quantum entanglement of young stars. Jennifer Gray, Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson...
Roadhouse and Point Break are okay at best
Red Dawn is very good, wish Milius had been able to do what he wanted with it instead of water it down
This soundtrack is definitely a gem! I grew up listening to 50s & 60s music and so I'm always a fan if a soundtrack plays songs like the ones in this movie.
Cool fact I learned about the last song: the man singing in the duet is Bill Medley & he's one of the Righteous Brothers. I no idea until this past year lol.
If you haven't heard of them you should check out their music. A couple of their popular songs are Unchained Melody & You've Lost That Loving Feeling.
Added it to my Spotify list
You're correct. This soundtrack is one of the best selling to this day, along with Forrest Gump, Purple Rain, and Titanic.
It's so good
Don't forget Good Morning Vietnam. I LOVE that soundtrack.
"Grease" and "Footloose" are good too!!
Mr. Holland's Opus has an amazing soundtrack as well.
Added
First, yes, Patrick Swayze (RIP) had formal dance training. He's probably best known for the movies Roadhouse (1989) and Ghost (1990) but if you ever read The Outsiders by S E Hinton you might enjoy the movie adaptation.from 1983. It has Patrick Swayze as well as a LOT of (at the time) very young future Hollywood stars.
Secondly, the resort getaway was a thing back in the late 50s/early 60s. Many catered to Jewish white collar, professional or business owners who would get out of the summer heat in (primarily) New York City and head for the Adirondack or Pocono mountains to one of these family resorts. The men would network and play golf, the wives didn't have to cook during the holiday and the kids would ride horses, swim, etc.
Added thanks
Patrick Swayze was super talented as a dancer and actor. Another good movie of his is Ghost. Not spooky scary at all - good fellow leads. Thanks for your reaction to this!
Added
I still have the cassette with the soundtrack 😆❤️
Love it
This is one of my favorite movies. Yes, Patrick Swayze was a classicly trained dancer. If you want to see more of his work you have to see Ghost. It's another great love story. I have always loved Jennifer Grey, but you would not be able to recognize her now. Due to a botched nose job, she looks completely different. I only recognized her because of her voice.
I recognized her from Ferris
@@AwesomeUSMovies Yes! When I first watched Ferris many years ago, I was like "It's Baby!!" Lol. But you should Google a picture of her now. She looks totally different. Still beautiful, but totally different.
Patrick Swayze was a trained ballet dancer. Also a skilled horseman. Went on to do dramas and action roles. He was a legend who died too soon. React to Ghost. You will not regret it.
A skilled horseman??? Is there a movie with him on horse?
Patrick Swayze was great in romantic films like Ghost and in action films like Roadhouse or Point Break.
The big movie for Patrick Swayze is Ghost with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. Other big ones are: The Outsiders, Roadhouse, To Wong Foo Thanks for everything Julie Newmar, Next of Kin. Jennifer Grey never really had too many big movies after this but she was quite popular on Dancing with the Stars. You'll find if you do research, her nose jobs after this movie severely altered her appearance to the point she no longer looked like herself.
Added to list thanks
To Wong Foo is so good and Swayze's performance is fantastic in it
This is a classic from the 80's glad you reacted to it!
James, speaking of amazing soundtracks, I think it's safe to assume you haven't seen the movie "Dazed and Confused"?
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
That line “nobody puts baby in a corner” is a huge saying
I don't get it. I mean she was next to a wall I guess
@@AwesomeUSMovies well she was sat in between her parents so he was kinda in corner…if you saw pics where she was sat she was.
Patrick Swayze's mother owned a dance studio so he started dancing when he was really young. He had a knee injury while playing football in school that made that final dance really difficult on him physically.
My head doesn't reach the headrest in any car so no I don't use it. 🤣
funny
The time of my life is sung by Jennifer Warnes and the guy.
She also sang Up where we belong for the movie An Officer and a Gentleman. You'll enjoy that one.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Patrick Swayze was a trained dancer, having grown up at his mother’s studio. He and his wife were also dance partners. May he RIP. Cynthia Rhodes, the female dance lead, is also a professional dancer and had a main part in the movie “Flashdance” from the same time. Lastly, Patrick and Jennifer acted together in “Red Dawn” of the early 80s, prior to this movie, where they notoriously didn’t get along.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Ghost - Patrick Swayze is good in it. Has Unchained melody by the Righteous Brothers. I think his mother taught him to dance.
He's also there with Neo in Point Break.
He’s better in red dawn in my opinion
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
This was actually filmed in 3 months, the bits of when she laughs that actually happened…he was more of a dancer, they didn’t get on….the lift in water and log and that was actually them practice lift and when they did lift it was first time. I learnt all this from people (celebs) who did learning the dances. And also the scene where she crawled singing that was practising for dancing and they kept scene in. Cynthia Rhodes was wife of Richard Marx.
That's fast for a film isn't it?
@@AwesomeUSMovies I know tell me about it! They wasn’t main choices either for cast if you Google it it says it was filmed in 43 days! Shows how great dancers they was, professional actors and actresses they are and how quick they had to learn. It was a budget film but was massive….
@@AwesomeUSMovies but it’s also mad to think the dance at end was all done in one take…they never did it again after.
Patrick Swayze=Roadhouse. Or Ghost. All good. Very much enjoyed your reaction. Dirty Dancing is one of the favorites along with Footloose.
Added, yeah I just watched footloose last week
@@AwesomeUSMovies Yup, I watched that last week. It was just an fyi. Can't wait till the next one!
how about Flashdance?!
These rich people definitely Don’t judged a book by its cover! It’s always the ones you don’t expect!✌🏻☀️
This is a movie to reflect on. Incredible reaction.
He was a great actor so many good film's
Lots to watch
You need to ask your sons what booty call means. None of this was a booty call between Jonny and Baby.
What??? It wasn't
@@AwesomeUSMovies definitely not. Honest.
@@AwesomeUSMovies lol a booty call happens between people that aren't in a relationship or have feelings for each other; though sometimes one person does have feelings and the other is treating them as a booty call. So, the times that you said booty call when they were intimate wasn't technically accurate. I believe that's what this comment is trying to say. 😊
You can go and visit the film site of Kellermans and actually stay in the cabins today , but sadly the lake there has completely dried up . And the song " She's like the wind " Patrick Swayze himself sings.
This film was filmed in the mountains of my state NC 😄
extreme prejudice 1987, a good movie that no one else has reacted to
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
You have to see the movie American Graffiti (1973)!
It's all about cruising, cars, and the music on the radio in 1962!
Would love to hear your commentary on the cars! But it will be your greatest editing challenge, the radio is playing in the background (sometimes forefront) the entire film.
Good Morning Vietnam (1987 comedy/drama starring Robin Williams) is another great movie with a great soundtrack! I had the audio cassette of it as a teen and it was in my Walkman all the time!
Searching for Bobby Fisher (1993) is the best chess movie of all time!
Rounders (1998) is the best poker movie.
Clue (1985) is the best ever movie based on a board game.
Best Regards!
Thanks, I've added all these to my list. It's appreciated
PLEASE watch Ghost (1990) starring Patrick Swayze, Whoopi Goldberg, and Demi Moore! He is also known for Red Dawn (1984) with Jennifer Grey, Road House (1989), and To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995) with Wesley Snipes and Stockard Channing.
Yes, all three stars were professionally trained in both dancing and acting before being cast.
Dirty Dancing sold a lot of CDs, but I believe the all-time bestseller is Saturday Night Fever (1977).
Added!
I STILL have to watch To Wong Foo...dangit! and I love Snipes
"The kids are showing them up", lol. your reaction was hilarious. This movie caused an uproar in my little small town. lots of churches protested outside of the movie theater. After seeing it on video years later it , I didn't get the uproar. I appreciate that on every video you do you love the soundtracks, & music.
“ I’ve decided to go all the way with Robby”
OH GOSH…. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would never
@@AwesomeUSMovies lol I know, that reaction was great cause Robby is such a prick in this movie
Now for the FOOTLOOSE remake. One of the better updates to older movie
Everybody telling me to stay away from it in the comments
If you like Patrick swayze you have watch him in ghost
What about the outsiders red dawn
Also in "Point Break"
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
One of my all time favorite movies and most of the reason is the soundtrack. Glad you appreciate a good one as well!
So good!
Jennifer gray actually won dancing with the stars about 12 years ago when she was 50 years old. I don’t believe she is a trained fan see besides taking lessons as a kid. Her dad is a famous Caboret performer.
Never heard of it sorry
Swayze’s mom Patsy had a successful dance school. He started dance when he was small and played high school football.
Jennifer Grey’s dad Joel Grey performed as the Emcee in the original Broadway production of the musical Cabaret, which is during WW II in Germany.
Love that
One of my favorites!!!!!!
30 years I've been watching this movie, and I never noticed those were candles! 😂
I notice little things like that. It's my thing
This movie does has a phenomenal soundtrack
i never understood why the owner guy was so pissed about the dancers showing off - i've seen this movie dozens of times over the years and every time i've watched them dance, all i wanted to do after was to learn how to do THAT, lol. that would sell lessons in no time!
He was very set in his ways. He wanted to keep the dances they way they have been for decades.
I thought it looked like fun
This was filmed mostly at the Mountain Lake resort in Virginia. Unfortunately not, it's more accurately Mountain Puddle. Every year they have Dirty Dancing festival. It was filmed in October, so they spray painted the trees green. Also, the lift scene in the water had to be filmed from a distance because their lips were blue.
Three other great Patrick Swayze movies: Ghost, Point Break, and To Wong Foo
The person who plays the dad does the voice of lumiere (the candle in beauty in the beast).
Oh fun! I know that one
Still only the one romantic movie that I like. R.I.P. Patrick Swayze
Entertaining moves and at times touching film
Thanks for the chance
Baby has quite a different role in this than she did in Ferris Beuler's Day Off.
This was filmed in NC. It was fall, and they had to paint the leaves green. The water where they did that lift was freezing cold! Yes, Patrick Swayze was trained as a ballet dancer. He got teased as a child because of it.
I think it turned out for him. dumb kids
Oh, and thank you very much. Nice, entertaining video again 🙂👍
Awesome
And now.... you can watch Crazy Stupid Love hahahaha another fab reaction
R.I.P. to Jennifer's original nose 💐⚰🕯😭🙏
lol
Since you’re a chess player, you would love the Queen’s Gambit (Netflix) when you start watching shows.
I'll have to take a look
Well now that you know Patrick and Jennifer, you gotta watch Red Dawn,,, the 1984 film. Not the new remake abomination they came out with a few years ago.
edit: Couple facts about the movie.
Jennifer Grey almost got hypothermia during the water lift scene.
Patrick is a professional dancer.
Patrick and Jennifer pretty much couldn't stand eachother.
The scene wear he was tickling her wasn't supposed to be in the movie. Patricks resigned looks were real. He was tired of Jens crap. They left it in.
Their animosity toward each other started when they were in Red Dawn together.
edit 2: Patrick's break out role was The Outsiders. Another great movie. You probably read the book.
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
Patrick Swayze is also in a great version of "The Outsiders".
I enjoyed many a film with Patrick Swayze but my favorite is Ghost with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. We lost Patrick too early; he was suck a endearning actor. I really believe you would enjoy the movie "Ghost"; so funny; tragic and hereafter elements.
I love this movie! You should watch "Ghost" next, my favourite movie with Patrick Swayze and "The Outsiders" too :)
A: great movie
B: I got into a LOT of trouble going to school dances at a private Episcopalian school Dirty Dancing. It was worth it.
Funny
One of my mom's favorite movies.
The Wanderers 1979 - The Warriors 1979 - Dutch 1991 - Dawn of the dead 2004 - Rookie of the year 1993
Thanks, I've added all these to my list. It's appreciated
Back in the 60’s, people would go the Catskills and other like places in upstate NY for the summer. If you watch Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, there’s a number of episodes that revolve around summer vacation in upstate NY. So many more from the late 70’s to mid 80’s. Wargames, which is fitting for what is happening now, Arthur, Tootsie, 9-5, Seems Like Old Times, Stripes, and one from 1988, Midnight Run with Robert Deniro and Charles Grodin.
That sounds kind of fun. I think I'd like going to one of those
Patrick Swayze is from my hometown of Houston, Texas. He was classically trained by his mother who ran a dance studio in Houston. There is a documentary of him on RUclips where they do an excellent job of describing his upbringing and how he became an actor. It was really fascinating. You should check it out. Also, Patrick Swayze has starred in a couple of other great films. You should react to Ghost next or in the future. I really enjoy your reactions James. You got me laughing at “Booty Call #1” and “Booty Call #2”!!😂 Can’t wait to see more! Thank you & keep up the great work.
Love it thanks
My two favorite movie soundtracks are Forest Gump and Dirty Dancing!
You should react to the SNL skit “Chippendales Audition” with Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley. It’s on RUclips. One of the greatest Saturday Night Live skits of all time.
I'll look it up thanks
Road house is a must see movie !
Added
12:37 My favorite song of the movie.
I get that
Another great movie and soundtrack is the Big Chill. Lots of big stars - some you might recognize 😊
So glad to see you watch this. Patrick was a professional dancer as his mom owned a studio when he was a kid in TX and he grew up dancing. He unfortunately passed away years ago. A very good film of how you should add to your list is Roadhouse. Ghost is another must see with Patrick in it
Added to my list, thanks for the suggestion.
u should see Ghost next. Great cast!! Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Goldwyn, and Swayze himself.

Don't know if it's already been said, probably has because it's a common movie trivia, the part where she was ticklish was a genuine reaction by her and annoyance by Patrick. Lol
