Thank you so much for this video, it was really detailed without all the extra nonsense. I don't know a lot about guns and had been contemplating cleaning my father's gun. I do have fnf who know about guns and the local gun shops also provide this service but I wanted to do it myself. This video really helped me and gave me the confidence to do it myself.
    Thank you.

Great video! I have a 1987 vintage 11-87 SP that I bought new in '87 and I have never completely disassembled it. Now I can and I will. Thanks!!

U can use Flitz to clean and polish the magazine tube. The plug comes out of the end easily also so u clean that tube too.

I would suggest getting a small wooden mallet before driving pins on a weapon with a metal hammer. Also point out the direction to install the "tweezer' part with the bend up towards the top of the receiver housing before the bolt assembly, its possible to install wrong and jam.

I flinched with the sight of that nail hammer to send those trigger assembly pins home........ but in the host's defense he did "tap" lightly.

Note to self NEVER EVER LET YOU TOUCH OR CLEAN ANY OF MY GUNS ! You used a fucking nail set to push out the pins and a framing hammer to knock them back in Are you fucking kidding me ! Back woods technology always amuses me .
