Not sure which I liked more, the build or the back story! Both were excellent! If you created that storyline you should be writing fiction. I found myself listening more to the story than watching the build! Well done! 👏
it is pretty cool that RUclips gives you the platform not only to showcase your skills at building but provides you a place to tell stories as well. It is awesome to see you adding these bits of backstory to your vivid imagination.
Wow, thats one very impressive build (from cardboard to backstory). I can't help trying to imagine the sound of those craft as they approach, roar ear-splittingly past and dissapear over the horizon, hot metallic thunder!
I love all these great creations. The one thing that throws me off is some of the tools. In this case, a lasercutter. The one thing out of my league that puts a hamper on my abilities to create.
This is very creative take on a futuristic motorbike. In my head the acceleration is sluggish but the top speed is terrifying. One slip though and he's a goner!
WOW! A real monster-vehicle for just one little freaky raider.. Great work again. Unfortunately I didn´t understand much of the back-story,, but never mind. See you next time, Geek. Have a nice day.
That is a crazy build, maybe even less practical than a pod racer. I love that it's only concession to aerodynamics is a tiny bubble screen. I like your lore bits, but if you don't enjoy doing them then you should not feel the need to do so.
This looks really cool, and the background story is interesting. BUT! ! ! ! ! and there is always a but, you do not seem to be mounting any weapons on the vehicle, esoecially not harpoon guns. Your pilot is going to have a hot seat above the exhaust, and how are you going to haul away stolen cargoes? It might work if your deck at the front could carry a few more assault troops who will jump onto the target, kill everyone and fly it away. I will flat out state that I am not skilled enough to make something that looks this great, so you did a wonderful job, But how effective it might be is something else entirely.
Interestingly I did end up making a twin cannon blaster on the front but I already had shot the footage so it was in the video. I envisioned this as more of a command lead vehicle and the rest of the 'pirates' did the ground work. In the story he does command that is crew take all they can and burn the rest.
Did you like my story that went with the Desert Raider? Let me know your thoughts and what else I can do to improve my videos?
I made my own channel to and for 2 to 3 weeks it's gotten pretty impressive.
@@colegensch787 That's great. I'll check it out
@@ScaleModelGeek you'll know what is when you see my face is disguised as the mask.
@@colegensch787 😁🤣🤣🤣
@@ScaleModelGeek see I knew you laugh 😅 hilarious isn't it?
No cab? No AC? Duh!
But it has a heated drivers seat, OHHH YESSS, that's one hot seat😄
Sadly, not temperature controlled just FULL BLAST!!! 😂😂
Loved the story. FYI this build is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Awesome job!
Thanks so much

Thanks so much for that and I'm glad someone like the story. LOL
The backstory was so fun!!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it
This build is amazing! I love so many of the little details like the discoloration of the pipes!
Thanks for watching
Looks very futuristic to for a build like something out of a sci-fi space film. I like it
Thanks
@@ScaleModelGeek 😁😁😁😁😁
A tip I've seen with the led filaments is to use see-through heat shrink to stick it to things.
Awesome, I'll try that
amazing build and storytelling. The two makes this a popcorn must watch :)
Thank you so much!
Love the story. You cant beat a good story for a build. Which was fantastic. Great colours. 👍
Thanks and I've been watching a bunch of your stuff lately
That turned out fantastic!! I did like the back story. To be honest, I got some "Gamey Builds" vibes from it.
Great video as always!!!
Thanks for that

Totally! I just have to get over my fear of my narrations. LOL
Wow, thats one very impressive build (from cardboard to backstory). I can't help trying to imagine the sound of those craft as they approach, roar ear-splittingly past and dissapear over the horizon, hot metallic thunder!
I imagine them to be like helicopters... silent till they are right above you!
@@ScaleModelGeek its all good - i just mean it fires the imagination
@@ScaleModelGeekWhat sound came to my head was the one used on the hovercraft in the Matrix movies mixed with a little Stuka dive bomber from WW2. 👍👍
Insanely awesome build and story!!! You nailed it!!! 😊😊😊
Thanks
Phenomenal build and story! The combination of different craft elements was really well done. Can't wait to see more of your work in the future!
Thanks so much and thanks for watching
That's a brutal speederbike :D nice work!
Thanks for watching
The build and the backstory were spectacular!
Thanks for watching

They are a bit pricey at the moment but as their popularity increases... the prices drop. Thanks for watching
Until Santa drops one off for me I am forced to use the tried and true method of exacto blade and ruler.
This is very creative take on a futuristic motorbike. In my head the acceleration is sluggish but the top speed is terrifying. One slip though and he's a goner!
He'll end up as toast. Thanks for watching
dang! that's a great build right there!
Thanks very much kind sir. I'm trying to keep up with you. LOL
Great build, great backstory. Keep both!
Thanks so much. I will continue
Fantastic build! Love what you did with the laser cutter and Blender work! ❤
Thanks and keep watching for more creations!
Absolute amazing concept and build 👍 The story brings the model to life as well
Thanks for that and thanks for watching
neat build and nice story buddy! It does give me the Rey Speeder vibes from Star Wars Episode 7
It does! That was part of the inspiration.
That is masterful.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too!

@@ScaleModelGeek I would like it if you did consider it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This model is very impressive.

Most impressive build yet scalemodelgeek.
Yeah, I really enjoyed this build and especially as it's scratchbuilt.
@@ScaleModelGeek this is really good stuff.😉👍
The hood looks like a wood stock repeating crossbow 👌
Seriously cool mate! Great colour choice too

I hope you make more of these raider stories and vehicles to match..

It's not that I don't enjoy them it's just overall I've never been comfortable doing narrations.
Очень круто получилось!
Thank you
that was a very cool concept !
Thanks for watching
I was thinking the grill looks like the front of Vaders mask
Now that you have mentioned it... it does
@@ScaleModelGeekalso love your channel dude
Very nice mate bro 😍😍

It's giving necron vibes
It does and thanks for watching
Love it, very 2000AD
