you can paint car parts with spray cans and get a good job, but the white they used spattered way too much, and they sprayed it on the glass😢 and they didnt distinguish the teeth, making one of the most essential parts disapear
If it's some sort of refurbished pirate punk version, the spray can approach could be a solid start. But your quality build deserved a lot more attention. Masking, scratches, weathering to bring back the beautiful details and highlight the different materials.
The splattering is very amatuer and i dont think moondust forms in white blobs either. Could have been a nuanced airbrush job. The helmet deserved more: it was glorious.
Insanly awesome work! but when i saw them spray that white stuff on your helmet i was like 😢😢😢😢 i'm so impressed with your skill to bring all the details to life!
Thank you! imagine keeping all of them in your head all the time and thinking about the order of operations that need to take place to assemble them! (there is only one way to put everything together without blocking screw mounting holes etc. etc. for the next steps) :D
I think you modeled all of it in Fusion, and I cannot imagine how much time and operations that took, some sort of modeling tips video would be awesome, haven't seen one from a project like this, really impressed.
YES I reworked this all in Fusion!! and BTW, every time I scrubbed to the timeline before all those holes at the top of the helmet and back, I would take a coffee break as the PC would still be computing... :D I swear, even with an i7 and 128GB of RAM, this project made me feel like in the 80's. Fusion is incredible, but omg is it a poor fit for my kind of cosplay projects :D
I think all it needs is built in intercom systems with headphones and mic and a chin strap to secure the wobble. Other then that cosmetically it's out of this world.
Ohh there are so many upgrades I could have had if they only needed 1 helmet, or 2 but with a further deadline... Bluetooth audio, voice changers, more animations for LEDs... There's a lot of things that would be cool xD
Dude this is just an insane amount of detail, like this thing is one step removed from functional!! This is literally like the ultimate cosplay helmet its literally unbelievable
The 3D modeling alone is worth 5 stars. Making the visor with a 3D printer was a feat. Congrats! Idea: What about a detailed step-by-step video series should all materials, software used, etc? 🙂
This is so next level! The details and the way the small lighting accents look (and are put together) had my jaw on the floor. Absolutely top work. Amazing.
I love how much functionality you bring to your cosplay parts, and all the separate bits. It's much more satisfying to watch than builds where everything is fused together.
honestly compared to all of the other armors in this game this is definitely the best and looks so cool you did a really good job making it looks even cooler
I love you made the helmet options as if they were really functioning or to be used to function as is. Wish this could pass for the space marines helmet design.
Looks absolutely amazing! And I am baffled again to live in this time, I mean you can print this stuff at home. That wasn't even imaginable 20 years ago, at least for me it was pure SciFi-Nonsense.
i’ve been waiting for this video to release since you teased it! fantastic build, the visors came out so freaking gorgeous with those diffused LEDs, you’ve become a pro with these difficult resin visor prints
thank you! oh yes there has been a lot of carry-over knowledge from my previous projects...wew... I wouldn't have undertaken it otherwise with such a tight (for me) deadline :D
You could also place an opto-coupler between the fans and the microcontroller. It will isolate them. Anytime you add anything with magnetics to your circuit (motors , solenoids, etc. ) you need to isolate them or they will produce noise that will affect the circuit signals. Amazing project!
This is an amazing piece of work, and a really enjoyable video to listen to your insightful commentary. Thank you for sharing this video! Really inspiring
For degfoging a simple technique is to use scuba diving defoq spray, spray it, let it sit, spritz with water let air dry dont wipe till then. or use plain no grit nothing fancy .99 store whit etooth paste, wipe on the lens, then clean off, this helps remove any oils that may be lingering that cause your fog to occur, also these are both scuba diving/snorkeling tips used in the real world.
Honestly my favorite content creator at the moment. The amount of thought you put in to your work is really inspiring. Your work with resin and led-lights is unmatched.
Thank you!!! I think a lot of knowledge that I got to use in this project came from allll the other trials and errors I made in previous builds, so I could work at a much faster pace hehe
Tried that, but it didn't eliminate the issue completely, so I just went with the capacitors :) It helped solve the brown-outs too from fan start-up (voltage drop) too.
I have no idea how much Bethesda paid you, but if you did this for a feature film, you could probably charge around 30k USD per helmet with this level of detail.
Good job but such a helmet should have a green and a second silver vizier as sunlight protection! Green is the favorite space helmets in classically space comics and pop art, even older Sci-Fi toy´s, windows and windshields are mostly green colored. A combination in comic´s are always using the element colors like red, blue, yellow with a black or white frame. But even dark purple/black interiors in cars, combine with yellow head light glasses and green or dark red colored windows are often used!^^
Your skill is awesome. I love them. Only missed opportunity is mounting small speaker drivers in foam ears for headphones. (this is by no means a complaint)
Not sure why people are being so weird about the post-process painting mads and mistvein did, it was on-model. No point doing all the hard underlying work if it sticks out like a sore thumb against the armor. Anyway, really cool build - really fond of the way you design helmets to maximize airflow without compromising on details.
Before painting it was perfect
I know right. It looks weird with the random white, and it makes it look more plasticy.
@12:02 painful to watch them just slap some basic spray can paint on it after the painstakingly detailed paint job.
Hehe well the project required it!
I agree

Haha!! There's no moon without moon dust!!
Thank you so much
@@Zibartas that looked nothing like moon dust, looks just like someone did a really bad job at spray painting
If you'd played the game, you'd understand why the white spray looks that way! The suits turned out SOOO WELL!
@@Zibartas that "moon dust" look garbage im ngl
holy hell, thats some serious talent!.
that "paint job" they made was heart breakingly bad. their suit looked okay, but you, are in a different league
They did a shit paintjob after you handed it away
kkkkkkk chega deu agonia
Litterly and they acted rude.
It still blows my mind how much care you put into your work and how humble you are dude! Bethesda picked the right guy for the job
sleep can be slept later, cut corners can't be uncut!!! :D
thank you so much!!!!
you are amazing maker.
I could not imagine how many parts in that halmet.

@@Zibartas would you consider making these files available.
he just casually brushed of like 90 hours in fusion
Sadly they're not mine to give anymore hehe :)
@@Zibartas Ooh did Bethesda buy the files from you? 👀
Imagine being a 3d modeler or cobcept artist at Bethesda, and seeing a madman make an exact copy of your work. I would shatter

Watching them get paint on that visor was almost physically painful after all that work and how beautiful they were.
I am actually speechless. This is THE best maker video I've ever seen. So much dedication, professionalism and love for detail. Awesome.
Dude this is just an insane amount of detail, like this thing is one step removed from functional!! This is literally like the ultimate cosplay helmet its literally unbelievable
So cool watching this again after playing with the helmets in game. I appreciate how much thought and care you put into every detail!!

Wow, you did an amazing job on that helmet. I'm jealous of your skills!!!!
dude... i have been seeing your build pretty much from the beginning...and i have really seen you grow! Great job dude. Very inspirational!
I mean... There are levels to talent but yours is above them all! The modeling, the engineering, the making... Come on!
So much appreciated!! thank you so much!
Keep going your builds are amazing.@@Zibartas
This is so next level! The details and the way the small lighting accents look (and are put together) had my jaw on the floor. Absolutely top work. Amazing.
Great work, and with a sudden change in your timetable. The fabric parts turned out really well they look mint!
I love how much functionality you bring to your cosplay parts, and all the separate bits. It's much more satisfying to watch than builds where everything is fused together.
Thank you so much!! :D It's actually a bit self-serving - the more parts the less masking tape needed :D !!
wow! Skill and tenacity work well together! :) Well done!
awesome...until they sprayed it gray :(
right
After seeing all the effort and precision of your design and manufacturing I almost choked when i saw them just put a spray can to the visor.
honestly compared to all of the other armors in this game this is definitely the best and looks so cool you did a really good job making it looks even cooler
Very clean build, great planning, and attention to detail, I hope you are very proud of your effort :)
Wow. Your patience and attention to detail is extraordinary. Well done. Cheers!!!
That is so amazing! You are very talented. Honestly, I prefer your paint finish over what they ended up with.
I love you made the helmet options as if they were really functioning or to be used to function as is. Wish this could pass for the space marines helmet design.
These props are beautiful!
This is such a great work.
the attention to detail is INSANE, i am so impressed with all of the thought put into the design. amazing job!
This is STAGGERING. Highly detailed, highly complex, with electronics AND YOU MADE TWO OF THEM, WITH 2 DAYS TO SPARE 😵😵😱😱😩😩❤❤❤
Great job, amazing project!
Working on a simular project.
Great work, thankyou for caring about "All the effort!".
Super nice job! Love your work!
Such an incredible design and execution! Kudos!
THAT HELMET LOOKS SO GOOD!
Awesome workmanship! you gained a fan
Great Video, love the detail
These are IMMACULATE. Insanely impressive. Thank you so much for sharing your process.
wow I'm so humbled. This makes me want to do the same kind of work... so cool!
Amazing skills you have sir and whoever designed the helmet both should be hired by Hollywood
Good job on your recognition by Bethesda. You truly have talent.
a whole set of skills required to achieve this, good job and very nice!
Looks absolutely amazing! And I am baffled again to live in this time, I mean you can print this stuff at home. That wasn't even imaginable 20 years ago, at least for me it was pure SciFi-Nonsense.
Man you did such an amazing job!! It was disappointing to see their rather careless paint job after you put so much effort into them.
This is amazing! Nice work.
Epic craftsmanship. Wow!
Amazing effort and results
This new helmet are awersome. Nice to see him in live.
Spectacular build and video. Seriously very, very professional level work. I am blown away.
Incredible work! Watching your stuff get better and better has been a joy.
Aw thanks!! :D I'm so happy I'm not disappointing! :D

I'm not into gaming but man that is a HELL of a job! A 1000 KOTAUs for your impeccable work! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hell of a job!!! Can't believe how much work, skill and knowledge u brought into this Masterpiece. Just sick! 😍
Unbelievable work. That helmet looks so beautiful. subbed.

Absolutely crazy what you did here ... and all this in that short time. 😮
Amazing work! Amazing video! Liked and subbed!
This is an amazing piece of work, and a really enjoyable video to listen to your insightful commentary. Thank you for sharing this video! Really inspiring
Aw thanks! I was worried that the video turned out a bit too 'wordy' and I didn't let the footage 'breathe enough' :D

There's no kill like overkill :) 10/10 work. So excited to finally see this build!

4:48 You can also use a ferrite toroid core with the motor wire looped through it once or twice, to eliminate EMI/RFI.

Incredible work - best Ive seen.
Well done dude! its perfect... except for that white paint. :D
Brilliant work! Love it!
Là je suis impressionné ❤❤❤❤ la peinture, c’est un sacrilège
You are very talented. This is fantastic.
Freaking cool! Those are my favorite colors too.
wow amazing work, you make it look so easy lol also prefer your results before they splattered white spray paint all over it!
some once said "i work best under preasure, bc without preasure i dont work at all". But that is another story

Thank you so much!!!
I just wish I knew some of the stuff you could do when it comes to resin printing or filament printing to make three dimensional product. Very nice.
wtf, the amount of work and detail is mind blowing. Beautiful work.
Thank you! Sadly to make it more 'viewable' I cut out a bunch of parts that you kinda see pop up into the story without explanation haha
Subbing to your channel was a no-brainer; that's the best helmet creation I've ever seen.
insane craftsmanship! love your work
much appreciated!!
You’ve got a real talent. Nice work sir.
Oh sweet! I just found the coolest channel on RUclips ❤
Amazing work man. You’re soo so talented. I want one 😍
Your skill is awesome. I love them. Only missed opportunity is mounting small speaker drivers in foam ears for headphones. (this is by no means a complaint)
Wow...they ruined the finish of their works of art by painting them.
It was heartbreaking!!! 😐💔
It's a good movie prop, but if you're going to use it on a bike, it's going to need to have some sort of protection in case of an accident.
Amazing work! 🤩
The mattress foam cutter is a neat idea. When I cut foam with a knife or scissors I always get jagged edges on round shapes.
Exactly right! and all those lil jagged edges shine through fabric if you wrap tightly!
This looks so beautiful
This man! Such an incredible creator. God DAMN. I am seriously in awe. You ate bro.
You're an Olympian! That looks great
use a XL size helmet padding and boom it fits perfectly
this was fun seeing this whole process
You are truly an artisan, and a huge inspiration. Bless
aw thank you!!!

Damn I love this channel and love this guy projects imagine wearing that helmet while driving your motorcycle at night hella tron vibe there
