The thing I hate the most about flying. Crying babies.
Great Trip Report!
Hahaha, so true! :'D Thank you so much!
I love it when you do and sometimes when you dont
Babies cry because is to painful the pressure in their tiniest ears.
Also their stinky diapers 👌🏻
4:53 that strange cocktail was Pisco Sour. Pisco is a chilean liquor and it's often mixed with lemon juice
As a chilean i can say pisco sour is from peru
Pisco could be either peruvian or chilean, but come on, pisco sour is peruvian
Chilean or peruvian, is the best ever no matter from it comes for :P
Dont forget the egg white
Hey... please, make a trip report in the flight BA1... British airways business class from London City to JFK by an all business A318. :D
Pedro de Azevedo Me dream tripreport
trip report
Fast forwards was amazing! Please do it more often! It's like you giving a tour on where to go! :)
i agree
+Oliver Chapman-Rayner I will! Glad you like it so much! :D
The welcome snack drink that you were served is known as pisco sour here in Chile
Edit: Thanks for the like. Greetings also from Chile.
This is probably my favourite trip report! Not only is there really nice and crisp video footage, fast forwards, and an all around base of knowledge, it was thankfully posted on my birthday!
Your welcome! :D Thank you so much for watching and commenting! :D Happy Birthday!
Love the fast forwarding Subbed!
+Andy Hwang Thanks a lot! :)
Andy Hwang I
I flew many times with LAN to Frankfurt and they upgraded me 2 times because I was a kid, and the service was incredible, great food, great crew and really confortable seats with bed option
I love Madrid' s airport. Very nice airport
Great TR as always!
+Mraviationguy Thanks! :)
Did fly once by LAN in biz class about 8-9 years ago from Santiago de Chile to Easter Island. Great memories.
LATAM Airlines Frankfurt to Madrid
very great tripreport, i love how you edit your report, specialy the short sequenz of starting and finishing your trip in the airports in this vid. Great job!
+global airlines alliance Thanks so much! :) Very glad you liked it that much!^^
I really like the new timelapse of the airport, would love to see more in your future videos, nice report as always :)
+maxc_20 Thanks a lot! :D We publish a new tripreport every week! Make sure you subscribe to our channel in order not to miss our upcoming videos! :D
I believe, that the welcome drink was a "Pisco sour" - the national longdrink of Chile!
iba a escribir lo mismo jajaja
Really like the fast forward scenes, great video!
Thank you very much! :D Very glad to hear that!
Fantastic trip report as always!
+DFW Aviation Thanks a lot! :D
Love all your reports! Greetings from Malaysia.
Thank you so much! :D Greetings from Austria!
Great trip report mate!! Really enjoyed watching!! LIKED
+Reinout's Aviation Channel- Full HD Aviation videos Thanks a lot! :D
I like the sped up parts. You're lucky to get a 787 on such a short flight!
+Sample Textᴴᴰ Thanks a lot! :D
Great video - thank you for sharing
+Jing M Thanks! :D Your welcome^^
Sehr cooler Tripreport! :)
+CSpotting Vielen Dank! Ja, das stimmt! :D
+Simply Aviation i love the fast forwards they are amazing please do it more often! By the way i love your vids keep it on!!
Love the interior of that beautiful aircraft.
Weiter so!
Great Video Bud, looking into doing this next year, was going to this year but going elsewhere, a bit further a field anyways.
+scotrail82 Thanks a lot! :D Well, I can really recommend it! Maybe going LHR-FRA with B 767, FRA-MAD with LAN B 787 and then MAD-LHR with IB A346? That'd be an insanely cool routing! :D
Your tripreports are the best.
Thank you very much! :D Very glad to hear that!
Nice Video! I like the fast motion parts keep them in there! Liked!
+Gamerz150 Thanks a lot! :D We will keep them! :)
Hi, id just wan't to say that i love your vids keep rocking them :D
Thank you very much! :D
Madrid's airport is really stylish! Looks like Beijing capital airport T3:)
It really is! :D Looking forward to transferring through MAD in August! :D
Perfect cabin!
+Marek Piaček It really is! :D
+Simply Aviation Yeah:D What's your following flight? Are you going to do a tripreport?
+Marek Piaček The next trip will be from Vienna to Hanover, Germany...as of now, and yes, we will make a trip report! :)
Great. I know where Hanover is. I am from Slovakia:D
Air Canada lounge is terrible simply because they were impolite when enforcing the so called "no camera" policy on a business class passenger - will think twice before flying with them in the future. There's another fact, North Korea's new Sunan Int'l Airport even allows cameras, well, for an entirely different reason of course. Just Googled "Business Class Lounge No Camera Policy" and found nothing. If I were to run an airport lounge, I will pamper the passengers filming trip report, simply because of free publicity, and I will go to great length to avoid upsetting any passengers. Or, if privacy is of concern (Come on, seriously?!), there are a million ways to communicate with them (or us), people respond well to respect and reason, not impoliteness or responsibility aversion behaviours. In another note, I do believe airline service quality as a form of cultural capital, is a scarce resource, unequally distributed, relatively robust and resistant to change. In light of this, in order to change staff behaviour, one must first improve the company's culture on customer service. I also want to point out the classic cognitive dissonance scenario you experienced with Air Canada lounge, your comment as you were leaving the lounge while secretly filming, was very funny and cute in a likeable way - I should do a research thesis on this...
Michael Hamilton I don't think hes well
Very nice as always! When I say the police I was like oh my god since when is filming bad? Must have been a very nice business class experience for you! Wow police when you were exiting the plane. That is interesting. I would have had no idea what she was saying! All I understood was Madrid!!!
+Dave Hahaha, the police did not notice a thing... Flying Business Class was really great! :D
Hi from Chile!!
Great! :D
I like that you fast forwarded the beginning part.
+Andrea Ontiveros Glad you liked it! :D
Fast fwds are good! And another great report as usual
+planedudea380 Thank you very much! :D
That kid 🤦🏼♂️ Nice Video 😁
A nice very comfortable short business class trip.
+Steven Lower It really was! :D
+HannoverSpotter Vielen Dank! :D Ja, hab ich Felix schon so weitergeleitet^^
So this is to Chile 🇨🇱 via Spain!
Exactly but we left the plane in Spain. ;)
The Middle
5:00, the name of that drink is "Pisco Sour" :)
Thanks so much for the information, didn't know that! :D
Yes thank you for speeding up the walking portions. Not a fan of long sequences of walking!!
+Michael Jackson Thank you so much! :D I know, me neither...they're just boring...
For a moment there, I thought they left your suitcase on board to Santiago as the conveyor belt wasn't moving hahaha
+John Perry Hahaha, thank god I did not! :D
I actually love the airport footage, and would also love more of before/after train/bus footage of getting to/from the airport.
Fast forwards is great, and perhaps you could even slow it down a bit...
+Fourth Way Thanks a lot for your feedback! :D We'll consider this in future videos!
Great video! I like the sped up parts. I do have a question, though. Why did you have to go through passport control even though the flight was within the Schengen area? My guess is that they depart from the international section of Frankfurt, but why wouldn't they do the passport checks in Madrid rather than Frankfurt? Thanks.
+Ari Mendelson Thanks a lot! :D We had to go through apssport control because the flight continued to Santiago de Chile, and most of the passengers were heading there. It's more comfortable for those passengers who continue, and I don't mind going through passport control... :D
Good vid
+Oliver Chapman-Rayner Thanks! :D
Simply Aviation I watch every one of your videos since the Luxembourg to London city airport trieport:):)
Hammer Tripreport! :D
+TXLspotting Hahahahah, bloß nicht! :D Danke!
+Simply Aviation Hi simply aviation! I'm from italy so how about take a trip to italy With our flag Carrier or can you review it
Hi! :D A very good friend of mine already flew with Alitalia once, you should check out his tripreport: ruclips.net/video/7tYjmrmYt6c/видео.html
+Simply Aviation yeaaah i just saw bobi's one! very good trip report and i'm Waiting for your's!!!!! 😂
+Simply Aviation and you're the Best!!!!
Good video
+William B161 Thanks! :D
+HAJ Jakob Vielen Dank! :D
Toller Report!
+dramaturgius Ah! Vielen Dank für die Info! :D Und danke!
Nice report. Question: I believe you had to go through passport control in Frankfurt and on arrival in Madrid as well, right?
Yes exactly... You have to pass through passport control in Frankfurt because you are not seperated from the passengers who actually leave the Schengen area, same in Madrid...
Das ist sehr cool
+Octavia Fazbare Das stimmt! :D War auch sehr angenehm!
Fast forward is not too fast like last time. The Frankfort airport is not too big on the 757-275.
Okay, cool!
Haha...you are one of the "gate lice" at B44! Nice TR on this 5th freedom flight. So much better than crappy European J on an A320!
I really like the fast forward! Next time you fly Air Canada, Delta or Westjet can you make a trip report?
+Miles Archibald Thanks so much! :D We'll try to fly with one of those airlines soon!
Great video! Why did you have to pass through passport control even if you are flying within the Schengen area? I know this flight continues to Chile but I thought you didn't need to go through that control if your final destination is Madrid
As this flight continues to Santiago de Chile and it's more economical to fly it as a non-Schengen flight cuz clearing all pax to SCL in MAD would take too much time.
@@simply_aviation oh, I didn't know that, thanks for your answer!
nice video
Thank you!
Can you make a Report from Budapest (BUD) to everything what you want with WizzAir
Why are you flying so often in business class? You often flew in economy?
We rarely fly in Business Class most of the time 90% is ECO. ;)
+Simply Aviation What is the "rule" about recording in airports and recording the take off and landing? I'm not really sure. I might do a trip report in July so I just need to know if I can record! Thanks! :)
+Jake Iovine Depends on which airport you are travelling from/to... But most of the airports do not prohibit that. Inside of the airplane the rule is: Flight attendants have to be seated during take off and landing, so they don't even notice you filming^^
+Simply Aviation Thank you SO MUCH!! Great trip report by the way! :D
was someone murdering that baby tho, love these videos, i hope to travel more soon! its one of the best feelings ever yes or yes, specially when its international, and the adrenaline of changing terminals and checking and what to eat and literally everything haha
Sergio Valerio Most of the people in that flifht are heading to chile. And with personal experience i can tell you that they sound like their're dying
+FlightReportsAustria Vielen Dank! :D
I like the middle too lol
okay^^
Nice
Thank you Sami! :D
What is the price of business class from FRA to MAD aboard 787?
By the way, on 2.05 I'll test FRA myself flying to Malta!
It was not much more than Economy :) Great, we hope you will have a great journey! :D
3:09 one of those chairs costs around €500. Welcome to Frankfurt...
Was the price of the ticket really 33 EUR?
Tolles Video!
Macht weiter so!
please do a first-class long haul flight of air France
+dev Sahoo Only if you pay...because I can't afford it...
you are awesome
+jeronimo Cardona Ariza Thanks! :D
+Norges Spottingchannel Vielen Dank!
Can you turn the screen in front of you off?
Yes you can.
How did they allow a crying baby in business class ? Thought airlines don't allow little kids to business and first...
+Dan Naba
The seat was close to Economy Class so you can hear the crying baby from eco.
+Simply Aviation oh well, that's a pity
Hello, Make the Swiss Airlines A220 to Zurich
Why Chile?
Used to think Air Canada is a good airlines but after the camera restriction, I don't really like it.
Enjoyed your video but with less fast forwards. Thanks.
+JC Baily
Thanks for your input, we will consider that in our next trip report.
LAN doesn't operate anymore tho. They joined with TAM and created LATAM
the drink looks like Pisco Sour a Chilean/Peruvian drink its made of Pisco with lemon and sugar
+MsDaniurbina I believed is pisco sour because the airline is Chilean and the final destination was Chile so I supposed it HAS to be a Chilean drink such as Pisco sour
+MsDaniurbina Thanks a lot for the heads up! :D
¿Has viajado a sudamérica y si no a cuál país te gustaría ir?
Hooray for Business Class. :D
I'm from Canada though. :I
In fact, I'm, pretty sure whoever told you to turn off the camera is not Canadian. >:(
Us Canadians are too polite to tell you to turn off your camera! (Not bragging) :)
I'm sorry you had that experience with Air Canada. :I
Actually, I don't think it's not Air Canada, instead, it's probably just the employee's opinion. :(
Now that I think about it, whoever told you to turn off the camera is probably German...
(I mean, you're in Frankfurt, so...) :I
Anyways, sorry from Canada! :)
I hope you'll never need to film in secret again! :D
why is the ground crew at Madrid always so grumpy?...
They aren't always grumpy...hab also very friendly staff there.
Simply Aviation It' good to know but I've made some connection flights in Barajas and the crew has always seem grumpy, I guess they work quite a big amount of hours un a row so at the end of the day they get super tired, I remember one time when I flew from Madrid to Gran Canaria, and the Ryanair check in personnel was yelling at us to be "quicker" in a very disrespectfull way, she was jusy yelling to everybody "Ryanair flyers ryanair flyers, come here quick quick quick!!!" and she didn't even know where we where going when we arrived to the check in, which is extrange because it's all printed on the boarding pass!!! I also remember this one time where the security control agent told us: "hey! you come from the Canaries, welcome to civilization!" but ir wasn't in a joking or friendly tone, she treated as also very disrespectfull, I was really shocked to see how there still are people in the Spanish Iberic Peninsule that thinks that we canarians live jumping between trees eating bananas and wearing goat fur...
Frankfurt main staff are really rude...
LAN now LATAM Airlines is a very good Airline
Strange that they use Air Canada's lounge, because AC is Star Alliance and LATAM is Oneworld... At first I found it strange that you had to go through passport control in an intra-Schengen flight, but then I remembered that's usual when it's a leg of an intercontinental flight (or simply with a non-Schengen final destination or origin). And I don't know if the colour-coded guidance scheme in Madrid was a good idea, because of colour-blind people (it's not rare at all, it affects one in every 12 men to some degree, and about one in 200 women).
All Oneworld Airlines are using the AC lounge in Frankfurt. ;)
The greatest Investment for frequent travellers: noise cancelling headphones. Expensive but worth it
How fun a crying baby. Maybe the mom will take care of the little one so that you can get some rest .
+Andrea Ontiveros Yes... :)
I thought the baby crying is the engine 😅
Vienna to Taipei? China airlines
We have no flights booked with this airline yet...maybe soon though! :D A list of airlines we are going to travel with and the upcoming destinations can be found here: www.simply-aviation.com/airlines/
LATAM Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner Frankfurt FRA Madrid MAD
More curious than anything else. I like kids sure, but boy sounds like back there a little one was not happy. Does that distract your flight any? I know it does me. Like I said I like kids, but I like a peaceful flight too.
It was okay but next time I'd choose a seat wich is not located near eco class where the crying baby was.
Try to play the airlines boarding music. Especially ethopian airlines.
Me watching in 202
RIP LAN
is now LATAM Airlines
If you fly to south america the better option is flying with LAN. In february we went to europe and we flew to europe with LAN
P.S. I'm chilean, and LAN is our national airline
