Beautiful collection reminds me of mine not long ago I also got started with a tenacious now when I replace one in my case I give it away to try and spread the bug and have more people to talk knives with. It’s a rewarding addiction
Recommend the rat 1 in D2. Also the Ontario utilitac 2, tanto. Great $30 knife. Started my collection five years ago with the rat 1 in aus8. The addiction set in pretty quick, up to 100 knives now. Slowly started spending more and more for higher end pieces, although I'll still pick up good budget knives when funds are low. Need that fix! Thought Chris Reeve knives were all hype until I got my large sebenza 21. Now I measure all other knives to that. Really precision made. Got an umnumzaan and have an inkosi on pre-order. I'd say the pride of my collection is the Reate Jack. Probably as close to a full custom in a production knife. Enjoyed watching your collection video. Always interesting to see what others have acquired. Keep it up and stay sharp!
@B What makes Crk trash? Where am I getting into a custom for $450? Other than being more ornate, what makes a custom so much better than a production knife? Are their locking mechanisms better? Are their pivots different? The whole, waiting for custom knife makers to open their books, and wait months and months to get a knife is something I'm not interested in. Tell me what custom maker(s) I should look into as someone who is just getting into customs. And I don't just collect, I like to use my knives and customs would be safe queens. Honestly, you really sound like a knife snob.
@B wow. Not fair to judge me when you don't know me. I buy what I like, not what the crowd buys. But there is the financial consideration when getting into customs. I also like to use my knives and I know that customs would only be safe queens. But I did ask you where you would suggest someone new to customs to start. So have a normal conversation with me or don't bother.
Don't have to spend $200 to have a good knife dude ! Don't even have to spend $100. Get yourself and RAT1 or 2 in D2 steel and I promise you'll never need another knife again.
nice collection!! keep it up!!! just fyi for everyone...that gerber he shows isnt a "paraframe" it is actually a 'paralite". lol i know...close but still a different model
I feel like you should continue to buy ganzo if you wish. I tell people all the time, there’s only so much the knife industry can push out for so long before the design behind dozens and dozens of knives start to look the same without creating something extremely elaborate. Is it stealing? IMO, no because design can and will only go so far. Let’s see any knife not looking similar in the 15-20 years that has not one similar feature or even resembles any current production, mid tech or even a custom knife. I love my Benchmade Griptilian and I don’t see a $20 Chinese mimic taking a knowledgeable knife collector or enthusiast away from Benchmade, SpyderCo, Zero Tolerance or even Medford. Maybe someone who doesn’t know any better yes but there’s the potential of them discovering the original knife design and maybe wanting the real deal this drawing them to the legitimate versions. I see it as a metaphorical starter drug to collecting or becoming an enthusiast. We all started somewhere and I doubt it was with a $500 Chris Reeves Sabenza 21. A $10-20 mimic or crappy gas station knife? Yep!
Hey bring are u still using ur benchmade griptilian and if so have you had any issues with the omega springs breaking on benchmades great collection by the way bro
I got 3 gerber flatiron knives and I can one hand open mine so maybe urs just need adjustments. Just saying its one of my favorite gerbers so don't give up on it haha.
Spyderco all day erry day. Benchmade is cashing in on the enthusiasm in the market. They aren't junk, just way overpriced. Look at the altitude and tell me its worth what it costs.
Really enjoy these knife collection videos. Seems like ganzo has they’re own designs all in D2 steel lately. You should check out they’re newer models.
cant be sure but I believe you're referring to the pic dampening the sound of him flicking the knives open and closed. the sharp sound causes the camera audio to dampen everything including his voice for a few seconds before returning to normal.
Nice video, I enjoyed seeing your collection. But I have to say, even tho I own a few, I don't buy gerber, crkt, kershaw or sog anymore. I would much rather save my money and buy one protech or even a nice cold steel. No offense intended and any knife is better than none at all.

Totally agree on the Tenacious. That blade has amazing ergos.
He’s over here with this crazy knife collection and then there is me with 10 or 15 gerbers and Ozark trails in an old ammo case.
Sam Skywalker hey you’ve got to start somewhere just keep it up 💪👍
I just got into the knife game, I started buying Crkt, Spyderco, ZT and Benchmade.
Nothing wrong with a good gerber man

Great collection bro! This is a much more realistic knife collection than some similar videos lol
