I really appreciate the commentary you provide for your videos, they're extremely educational. I loved the way you explained how and (most importantly) why you tied the two sections of driveway together. You're a great teacher. Thank you.

After watching many of your videos, I did my first concrete job yesterday! I poured a 20ft walkway. It was pretty easy actually once we got going. It turned out really nice. Keep up the good work.

Best workmanship and Informative as always. Love your content and I have learnt a lot and apply it in Ireland as much as it can based on climate and conditions. You talk about pouring late and coming back. In Ireland you can pour early and come back tomorrow with no accelerators. To be honest getting accelerators added by concrete providers is near impossible unless building an office block or similar.

That was a great idea digging underneath the old slab I'm doing a poor along and existing slab that's very thin on the edge and I was worried about how I'm going to drill to put the rebar in you just solved my problem

What is used to make a higher compression PSI concrete??? This was 3K PSI, but what would make it 4K or 5K-PSI???

Did you drill rebar into the existing slab to connect the two and prevent sinking? Is that standard practice when you're connecting two slabs? Asking cause I'm gonna be pouring an extension to my patio soon and was planning on drilling a couple rebar into the existing patio to connect it. One side will be up against the existing slab and the other side is against my house. Should I rebar into the house as well? Or put a control joint there? Or up against the house?

california is the only place ive heard of that has owner operators selling ready mix. sounds so much better than dealing with concrete companies that might pour thousands of yards a day and dont care about your business. so all the concrete plants just sell it to whoever drives in? i think id be shopping around for a mixer truck
