I've had an F3 for probably 12 or more years now. It's a fantastic gun and has performed perfectly over the years. I shoot both the 12 and 28 gauge barrels, mostly American skeet with occasional sporting clays. I used to shoot a Kolar tube set for skeet but decided to simplify things and went back to the F3 for all clay targets as I'm not a real competitor. Couldn't recommend it enough.
I have just traded my CG Invictus III Ltd Ascent for a Blaser F3. Took it out for the first time today and it just works! Fit is perfect, smooth to shoot.
The weight system isn’t just to move the CG forward or backward. It allows you to significantly adjust the weight of the gun while keep in it balanced like you prefer. I love my F3’s. Handles like a dream and recoil is minimal. As you said, triggers are light and crisp…maybe the best on the market. Biggest selling point to me is the modularity. Can swap barrels with no fitting or adjusting. I was shooting with a buddy one day, he was shooting 28ga and I was 12Ga. He asked if I wanted to try 28Ga, so we swapped barrels and a handful of shells and basically shot our own guns with the other gauges. All barrels are the same weight and balance regardless of gauge.
Well done Rich. As I said before I wish I kept mine. From memory trigger pull is around 3.0 /3.5 lbs, perfectly balanced, but a little flat, no sharp edges whatsoever.
I do like the F16 but really love the Blaser F3. Very different gun to the F16, particularly with respect to its modularity, the unique mechanics and overall feel and balance. Even the grades of timber in both entry levels models in the F3 and F16 are considerably different. It’s easy to understand how all these cumulative differences widen the price gap significantly between the two models.
Love my 2007 29” F3 especially after a full service from Mulliners, it’s like a new gun, tight and crisp again. I like them so much I bought a second hand 32” F16 and just bought a brand new F3, all plain sporting stock and feel pretty much the same. A1 blaser… bloody hard to find any Skeet jackets, boots or anything other than the guns, at a reasonable price that is…. 😊
Nice review. I like everything about the Blaser except the balance. While it’s true you can adjust the weight forward and aft, you cannot do anything to affect the weight between the hands. Therefore to me the gun has a bit of a barbell feel. Trigger’s are amongst the best of any shotgun.
Had my F3 Super Sport for 3 months and pattern boarded it several times and bottom barrel POI is 5CM to the left , top barrel is perfect . Disappointing for such an expensive gun

I love this F3 - great gun - I have 20; 28; & 410 barrels. Having owned several Krieghoffs - I prefer the F3.

Thats a great looking stock. Don't care for the flat black look at all. Nickle look for me with blued barrels I think i like a Krieghoff

The balance is definitely different to many other guns,
