    I got a F3 Vantage. Hands down a great tool for sporting and Compak, it was out for service and I used a Caesar Guerini Summit, also great gun but nothing beats a F3 in terms of quality and feel. F16 was my beginner gun, also a very solid tool and I highly recommend F16 as gateway drug to become a F3 owner afterwards….

    My f16 sporter is the only gun in over 50 years that truly fits me, love the balance, love the weight and love the gun👍

    That f16 is a game version. The sporter is a fair bit heavier and comparable with the f3

    Mate, they are both such beautiful looking guns that I'm happy to overlook any differences and just have them in my collection.

    I have the F16 and love it. The F3 is heavier and I like a livelier gun. I also don’t plan on adding small bore barrels so I didn’t see the need for the F3 to do that. I feel the F3 triggers are better , but the F16’s are pretty darn good. I also have a Beretta DT11, but prefer the F16 as it’s lighter. One question for you. Do you grease the actions before you use them as they’re a new gun or just assemble and shoot? I would’ve liked to have seen a close up of the cases. I like your videos and I’m from the USA

    Without a mention of the inline strikers on the F3 compared with the hinged strikers on the F16 the review is greatly devalued. The lock mechanisms employed by each and their differences are important.

    Had an F16 and liked it but I shoot sub gauge so I traded it for an F3 with a couple of sets of sub gauge barrels. All the F3 barrels weigh within 3 grams of each other so I avoid the “get used to a different gun” period in competitions. Also like the triggers better on the F3.

    I prefer the feel of the F3 it feels like it’s worth twice the price of the F16 and the way it closes and locks up feels like a real quality gun you can have a 9lb gun and it not feel heavy it’s all down to the way it balances as i’ve found out more recently when trying various guns

    Owning both of them. F3 a bit heavier which makes it easyer to control in tthe flow. F16 a bit more "nervous", be carefull not to give to quick to much lead. F3 perfect for the sporting/clays - F16 easy for the hunt; game, grouse ..to crowhunting. Both of them perfect

    In my opinion they are very different animals. I prefer the F3 hands down. Everything about the F3 in terms of its mechanics through to handling and overall quality of finish is on a different level when compared against the F16…….hence the price point difference.

    I would never buy a shotgun with aluminium receiver. The Blaser might look nice but I have seen lots of issues at the range. F3 where the action freezes completely and ejectors stops working. F16 that has problem with misfires on harder primers. I seen lots of Blaser poorly laid out stocks - strictly for appearance and not strength - they will crack with time. Miroku mk38 or Beretta, B. Rizzini would be my choice. The B Rizzini is the nicest of them all. Built by a small family owned company.

      What are you smoking? The F3 is not made of aluminum.

    • @herrmauser1066
      @herrmauser1066 Год назад +1

      Ask yourself why F3 and F16 got steel inserts bolted in the face of the receiver and that breech plate, stud pins, locking bolt are not the same colour or same finish as the rest of the receiver.? Because they are not of the same material. Try to order a F3 or F16 with case colour hardened or rust blued receiver. The receivers must be made from another material than steel. I'm smoking Cohiba, H Upman or Bolivar cigars.

      @FourT6and22 Год назад +1

      @@herrmauser1066I just got off the phone with the head of Blaser USA. He laughed. No... definitely not aluminum. 100% steel. And the receivers are plasma nitrided, which you can't do to aluminum, so there goes your conspiracy theory.

    • @herrmauser1066
      @herrmauser1066 Год назад +2

      Not true regarding plasma nitriding. Plasma nitriding of titanium and aluminium alloys is possible also plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is a surface coating technology for light metals, aluminum, magnesium and titanium specifically. It’s also possible to use other plasma treatments with anodizining coating - a finish makes the outside almost as durable as most steel's. The aircraft, defence and engineering business know that aluminium and other light alloys can be plasma treated. The hinge pins different finish are means they are steel and insert in face of the breech means most likely the receivers are broached (very time effective process for aluminium). Blasers head guy should to get a proper science degree before he opens his mouth regarding plasma treatments again…….

    • @FourT6and22
      @FourT6and22 Год назад

      @@herrmauser1066Blaser has multiple finish options on the F3, including rust/blueing. The receivers are steel. Go look at F3s that have engraving and other finishes other than the basic black nitride. They are not aluminum dude. Call up your local Blaser distributor and ask. You're telling me you go around telling everybody Blaser F3s are made out of aluminum because you saw one once that had slightly different hue/tint on some internal parts compared to the receiver? Come on. Show me proof. Have you seen photos of a raw F3 receiver? It's clearly not aluminum. All it takes is a simple Google search... And you're also telling me that the head of Blaser USA lied to me on the phone just now? He flat out said, "All F3 receivers are 100% steel."
