i change my config files every year, so i have an idea what to do and this video was still unfollowable. way to fast, no step by step, just lazy. if anyone actually found this helpful id be super surprised.
I’m confused on how ya are confused..? He said replace the old ones with the new ones. Also it said small bc that was before he changed it. You can see him click into a new tab that he copy and pasted the lines into so he can show off the specific lines faster than looking for them in the file …
Agreed. It is not clear why he recommends making a 'COD' directory. I am assuming he recommends this so you have the default files to refer back to if you edit the files incorrectly (place the original files in the 'COD' folder and edit the ones in \Documents\Call of Duty\players\*).
For the renderworker count pretty sure you want to set Intel to the amount of p-cores you have… possibly plus or minus 1 depending on if you’re gpu or cpu bound and for amd it’s the total number of cores.. my ryzen cpu runs best with all the cores set.. just saying 8 or less is definitely incorrect, not every system is the same and Intel and amd definitely use different numbers for this
So, do we copy these 3 changed files and the 1 unchanged file into C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\Call of Duty\players before we start the game every time? Or after the game is started like you said in the video?
@SurosNova use in game cap only. Do not cap on nvidia control panel. Game cap has the best latency. For my 175hrz monitor i cap to 160 in game just to make sure im always within the VRR range with no hiccups
@@driptic Nvidia control panel u leave latency off, cuz application already have latency on or boost…. Sync I turn it off n use fixed fresh, less input lag
these are actually valid. maybe next time you and all the other creators racing to put out content without actually testing it out yourself should learn a lesson. but yall wont
Also, for those who don't know you dont have to change it for all of them. You just need to delete all the .23 files from the documents those are for MW3 but they are causing settings to not change.

I found it helpful 😂
using nvidia dlss ultra performance with 100 sharpness gave me like 60 more frames and the visibility is essentially the same
This works ^^^ it gaved me like 40-50 fps
uhm, just changed those settings and this actually dropped my fps on a avg of 20-30fps. thanks a lot! lmaooo
can you do this settings for average pc, for nvidia graphic for example rtx 3060
the secret settings is to get a rtx 4090, it would boost your fps
I have a 4090 and the games performance still sucks ass

Do you enable gysnc and vsync stuff like that ?
Vsync on in nvidia control panel
Vsynf off in game
Low latency - on (nvidia control panel)
^^^ for gysnc
@@driptic what about fps cap? Uncapped or monitor refresh rate?
