    "Mind my missing (false) nail"....Bless you, this is the first time that I have ever heard the likes of this on a fishing video and I'm pretty sure that I won't ever hear it anywhere else on a fishing vid ever again lol. With or without your missing nail you produce first class content. Please don't ever stop being true to yourself. Kind regards,

    I’ve been fishing 60+ years your just starting out and as you go you will learn more and more and become the fisherwoman you want to be. Always do your own thing you’ll learn my your own mistakes. One thing I would say once you really learn watercraft you will fish much better. Love your vids reminds me of when I started out. Still learning even now. Wishing you tight lines

      @locien182 Год назад +4

      iv fished for 25 years now my self and tbh watercraft imo is the most underrated thing that people always lack. seeking the fish out, watching the water drift, time of day and shadows. 12 month season changes of the water ie are their pads or rushes etc where the fish like to hold up that your missing seeing due to winter etc. so many people i fish around just park up plonk up at the first/closest peg and complain "im not catching" when iv spent half an hour to an hour walking round the lake/lakes and keeping an eye out for things and then start catching.

    • @johnhanson8442
      @johnhanson8442 Год назад

      Just remember it’s called fishing not catching there will be times when you doubt yourself that it’s you who are doing things wrong because your not getting bites keep doing what you know you caught before or your go down the rabbit hole of trying complicated rigs. Just remember your not blanking your just running out of time

  • @stephenbuckham9964
    @stephenbuckham9964 Год назад +4

    Love your explanation of the new bite alarms that are not new, not confusing at all 🤣. I've done my bags the same way since I started fishing because I dont trust them either and I'm not bothered people dont like it. If it works for you it works no point changing

  • @colinmitchell9212

    Thats basically how ive been doing my bags for years. The only difference is I use my scissors and pirce holes all over the bag to aid it in sinking that little faster.

    Nice video … have you got any distance sticks? If not either put your rod on the ground and put two bank sticks in at 12’ (assuming they’re 12’ rods) or better still, Nick your partners set 😂 … when you make a cast that your happy with, find a nice hard spot or whatever your aiming for drop wise with a bare lead?
    Spinner rigs are pretty good at presenting (depending on your boom material) if your leadclip system lands in silt or weed your stiff boom could be on a really odd angle so maybe a helicopter setup so your lead can settle in weed or a bit of low lying weed and you’re still presenting. Just push that bead up the line/leader until you figure the lake bed out - clip the reels up then wrap them out and jot it down or whack it in notes on your phone, then each time just wrap up the rods, clip it and cast out without the fear of over casting or under powering the cast. I’m sorry if I’m coming across as condescending (not my thought at all) just bits of advice that helped me tears and years ago … I love that you know about the parachute rig (or at least very, very similar) that some of us on here won’t have known. Id just stab that bag with your needle to ensure it gets down to the bottom or it could be suspended, essentially holding your rig until it goes (I’ve even put bits of gravel in the bag to ensure it sinks properly) BUT …. Essentially fish how you want to fish - you come across well and it’s enjoyable watching, but feel free to tell me to shut up 🤐 if you like and to stick my advice 😂 - guys, guys, guys - can we get over the fact it’s a female that’s fishing. Acting like you’ve never seen girls/women before 😅😂😮 - good luck with your channel, it’s refreshing and I’ll keep cheering for ya. Tight lines 🎣

    When you get your new alarms, get the d-lock pack soo. Save so much time and effort when setting up and putting away. Also ND do a receiver add on pack for delkim alarms. Connect it remotely to the nd bivvy light and you can colour code the light to each alarm for thise bleary eyed middle of the night takes.

    Good location. Have fished the lower lake and had some good sessions. Top lake no one ever seems to have any luck when I ask. The ‘bailiff’ swims at the bottom as they’re known as tend to be pretty good, however as you probably noticed they’re pretty full of weeds. The willow on the island just round to the right of where you are in the vid is meant to be pretty good too.

    Nice looking lake. A lot of venues have certain swims that produce more than others. Best thing though always walk around the lake when you get there and find the fish, even if it takes a while. Get there first light if you can, that’s when they show most. 10 minutes in the right spot is worth more than 10 hours in the wrong spot.👍
