This Swordsoul combo let's you Synchro on your opponents turn - Swordsoul Yang Zing Tenyi combo

- Was having some fun in the lab, more coming soon. This combo is like our normal Baronne + Yazi line but instead of using Chiwen off of Yazi we hold it until our opponents turn, we also opt not to make a third level 10 or Sahasrara but we do this to make a extra level on our opponents turn instead. We still get our typical 2 lvl 10 + 1 lvl 9 + 1 lvl 8. We add a Yang Zing that’s not Chiwen(it should be in your GY) to our field, and we turn our Chaofeng into another level 10 Chengying. We also get 2 card draws on our turn + a third on our opponents turn.
In total we get 2 Omni negates, one monster negate, one spell/trap banish, one special summon banish, one GY + Field banish, one double destruction, light effect lockout at the start of the turn, and atk/def debuff of -100/per banished card.

Not a bad deck, I just played it in the tcg post baronne being banned at my local tournament and I went undefeated
That’s awesome, losing Baronne really hurt this deck since we lost some of the good going first boards and nib protection. I’m still waiting on my Protos before I take mine back locals. What kind of list did you use?

Interesting strat. I don't play any Yang Zings in my Swordsould deck since the deck is already tight but I might give it a shot. My main issue is nibiru would utterly polverize you but other than that, I love the combo. Curious on how this would work on higher ranks in competitive.
Kind of a hope and prayer but if you can out Baronne first do so, also if you make it far enough instead of going for the +2 draw by summoning Qixing Longyuan you summon Chaofeng. Shaman shouldn’t negate it since it’s not an activated effect (I still have to play test it to be sure). I’m still trying to perfect my deck list but so far I’ve reached D1 the last 3 seasons of MD.
@@et3rnaldr4gongamez Cool. You posted the main deck, what about the extra deck? And is this deck better than Tenyi Swordsoul, currently stuck with these low impact end boards.
@@speedsonic292 it plays a lot like normal swordsoul with the exception of having better endboards if you draw well. I’d say it’s better than Swordsoul Tenyi purely because it makes better use of what u can do for the cost of a few cards that work well with the deck.
As for the extra deck only new cards I’m running in it is Denglong and Herald of Arc Light. I’ll probably make a decklist video soon but I’m still experimenting with the deck.

What is the trigger?
I’m not exactly sure what you mean but if you’re taking about what you need to start the combo then all you require is Emergence + Taia/Ecclesia or Longyuan + cost (search the one you don’t have).

Anyways, i just to try including yangzing to my albaz deck, after i already included swordsoul into it.
It’s the effect of all of the lvl 5 and lower non-tuner Yang Zing monsters, you can only activate it on your opponent’s turn either on summon or in response to another effect during the main and battle phases. Also set your responses on Master Duel to on if you want to react to anything with it.

Not really, plays like normal Swordsoul except now you have Denglong to enhance how you play. You’re really only playing 5 new cards and they’re mostly wyrm monsters so it’s not too much trouble drawing them. You still brick sometimes but it depends on how many hand traps you play tbh.
