@@LamesAMA Lately, I've been seeing a lot of Sky Striker and Virtual World. I'm a returning player so I'm not familiar with either. I'd especially like to see VW since I always seem to lose against them.
I've said this in other comments, but since this video is doing insanely well, I'm going to be making more guides of this type. I primarily want to cover meta stuff that you're likely to see on ladder. I'll be covering Floowandereeze, Despia, the Adventure package, and BASED as these decks become playable. Until then I need more content, so what decks already in the meta would you like to see videos on in the mean time?
While I'm sure most people know how to play these decks, videos at least covering how to beat the current meta decks like tri zoo, drytron, etc would be really cool!
I think a very interesting deck to cover would be phantom knights. They have so many ashable cards and effects and a lot of the times when you dpe their links they still end up building a decent board.
Also, IDS is an interesting option to cover. I play it right now, but it looks like I'm changing my deck every day and have no real grasp of what I need the most. Some people play el shaddoll fusion, some don't. Some only play 3 shaddolls and rely on dogmatikas to give them access to shaddoll fusion, but to me winda looks like their strongest win condition against the meta and if you can't reliably make her turn one then what's the point? So, I would really appreciate input from a more experienced player.

I love the counter section at the end. It is so difficult to find watch choke points some decks have that I just often lose due to lack of knowledge. Tyvm and subbed.
A quick note: If you're against the halq version, a good card to Ash is Vessel of the Dragon Cycle. It's a Rota for tenyis+ a foolish burial for any wyrm. With any tenyi + vessel you can quite literally do anything, although ashing halq is more safe.
Ashing Vessel can be huge, but you get crazy punished if they have another Tenyi on hand. Feel dumb that I didn't talk about Vessel more tbh. Crazy cracked out card

Another common way to Access Yazi is to Pitch an Ashuna for LongYuan effect from hand and then use the Ashuna in grave while LongYuan and the token are on field to summon an Adhara from deck. You can then use LongYuan(6) + Adhara(1) to make Yazi. Mind you, you are wyrm locked after Ashuna's effect. The advantage of this line is that it wins vs Infinite Impermanence like effects. It plays well into ChiXiao, Infinite Impermanence and Effect Veiler while also Forcing out a Blackout if they have no other way to deal with your LongYuan from hand. Yazi can then pop a card, summon a Tai-A from deck. Your opponent still cannot Infinite Impermanence your Tai-A because you still have the token on a field from LongYuan. To extend even further use Tai-A effect to banish LongYuan from grave(optionally from this point onward you can use Adhara to Add LongYuan from Banish). Summon Baxia using Tai-A and one of your tokens. Chain link 1 Tai-A mill Mo-Ye, Chain link 2 Baxia target two cards. Then summon Mo Ye from grave using Baxia to 2nd pop the Token or Itsself, reveal the LongYuan you added from banish and summon a token. Then go into any synchro 8 or ChiXiao, chainblock draw with MoYe and add a Blackout or Emergence for follow up. You now destroyed 1 card while untargettable by imperm like effects, spun 2 back from the deck, recursed LongYuan back from hand. Add any Swordsoul card (or Wyrm by using Emergence while ChiXiao is on field) and got a free draw. Many more lines like this out there, enjoy your wins bros!

Been climbing using burning abyss and I must say token collector does wonders on this specific matchup even if you're not always gonna use token collector on other matchups. You can always use token collector as a way to stop the proc of nibiru.
in the halq version, even if you go first, you can go into Yazi with 001 + 2 tokens, then tribute Auroradon to pop your own yazi this makes any way of making halq that includes a Wyrm monster into at least chixiao + baronne since you can go into taia to banish the wyrm then send adhara off the taia (made live by the last Auroradon token) to add back the wyrm you banished, and chixiao can add either add longyuan to make baronne or blackout if you already had longyuan access also, psy-framelord omega is a good generic level 8 synchro that also lets you banish 1 card in your opponent's hand which often lets you know what attribute to call with Protos going first also if you get maxx c-d on mo ye, you're pretty much fine, just make chixao add blackout pass, they get 2 draws but you're getting a draw (potential handtrap) and 2 disruptions, so chances are you can prevent them from popping off and just push for game turn 3 if you get maxx c-d on a tenyi you just lose though lmao
Great video. Only ask I have is when you demonstrate the combos on the board can you slow down a bit? I kept having to rewind because the video speed was too fast

in the halq version, even if you go first, you can go into Yazi with 001 + 2 tokens, then tribute Auroradon to pop your own yazi
this makes any way of making halq that includes a Wyrm monster into at least chixiao + baronne since you can go into taia to banish the wyrm then send adhara off the taia (made live by the last Auroradon token) to add back the wyrm you banished, and chixiao can add either add longyuan to make baronne or blackout if you already had longyuan access
also, psy-framelord omega is a good generic level 8 synchro that also lets you banish 1 card in your opponent's hand which often lets you know what attribute to call with Protos going first
also if you get maxx c-d on mo ye, you're pretty much fine, just make chixao add blackout pass, they get 2 draws but you're getting a draw (potential handtrap) and 2 disruptions, so chances are you can prevent them from popping off and just push for game turn 3
if you get maxx c-d on a tenyi you just lose though lmao
I hate maxx c, whenever I lose it's always for that stupid card
Great video. Only ask I have is when you demonstrate the combos on the board can you slow down a bit? I kept having to rewind because the video speed was too fast
Such an underrated channel well done
Really good content. I wish there were more yugitubers with this format. Keep up the good work
Your video format is awesome. Do you think you could make one for the other meta decks?
Holy smokes, great work
Oh wow excellent guide, u earned a sub :)
Thanks just what I needed to know
Super good Video. Keep Up the work.
Man protos is like kozaky took the tribe infecting virus and weaponized it. Nice tech I may try!
Very nice video, personally I despise synchro archetypes and just wanted to learn the different strategies and interactions that could beat them since this deck will be legion on ladder now... I would like to see actually matches vs them to better spot the interactions and counter plays ! Keep it up
I am more into fusion strategies myself, but I'm adapting to more options too. And learning to beat them too in said mirror matches.
Thanks for the Swordsoul breakdown ahshs, and also is that the Infinite azure bgm
Yep, my favorite track from that series.
best video on swordsouls
Great video, really nice to know when to interrupt Swordsoul combos. As for recommendations, maybe Tri-Brigade (specifically beating it)? Since it's a lot of sending things to the graveyard, I have difficulty preventing them from continuing their combos.
what a great video, can't wait for more
A truly incredible video - keep this up and those subs will sky rocket. +1
A same guide for dragon link would be awesome!
