It was revealed that Hulk told him to. Just so that Hulk can take on Mephisto. (I forgot how to spell his name)
DisGuyRightHere (starts to get flashbacks of spiderman one more day) ugh....mephisto. Also yeah you spelled the name right.
It also was clear that it was eating Clint alive. When Bruce comes back She Hulk is pissed at him for making Clint do that. Comics do alot of dumb shit I feel like this is believable. Everything about Civil war 2 was pretty dumb though
And Captain Mehrvel, if she'll think that it's necessary, because she seemingly aims to make us not like her.

A big change from the first civil war
No matter what side Tony is on I’ll always ride for Tony he’s been my favorite comic character of all time ever since I was 6 years old and I just turned 34 so you do the math no homo but I first saw and feel in love with Ironman on the Avengers arcade game were there were only Cap, Hawkeye, Ironman, and the white Vision I just thought he was so cool lol
Iron Man has always been my favorite Marvel hero, next to my favorite DC hero, Batman. I would side with Tony, if I was a superhero.

People were too hard on this storyline. It should have been brutally apparent from the start that Marvel was not "really" going to turn Cap into a secret Nazi mole this whole time.
I mean its comics theres always a way to reset the status quo
It's still not a good way to handle critisism over the whole Legacy Character not owning up to their predecessor.
If I have a complaint it's that too many people choose to follow NaziCap blindly. If they were altered by the Cube too, it would make sense, but it's vague about the whole thing.
I really liked watching this whole storyline at once, though I had already seen some parts of it. But, I think they did the whole finding the parts of the cosmic cube thing because people hated the secret empire so much, so this basically retconned it.

It was nice to see cap changed into a hydra cap because of red skull because it makes sense. But I didn't like the way it ended like gud cap Vs bad cap! I felt it was rushed!!

Looking back at CW2, Carol was off the rails, and Clint killed Bruce for no reason knowing that Bruce couldn't Hulk out. Secret Empire is a good event that's underrated.

Deadpool essentially became the leader of the avengers later on in the uncanny avengers series. When he and the team had one final battle with the Xavier powered red skull

Secret empire is what got Steve vs Steve in endgame, I liked the whole standoff and so on side of things it was different and not the worse plot going

I really like how they used the Age of Ultron design for the Hulkbuster in the comics

Personally, I love both of them for different reasons. Comicstorian dramatizes the stories while Rob describes it while also delving into the deeper meaning behind the story. Stick with these guys for entertainment, go to Rob for the summary and to learn

Can't remember, but anyhow I do still use both channels. Robs very insightful and is probably one of the most comic knowledgeable people I've ever came across. But your words definitely ring true. The trick there is that you'd have to review pretty much every major crossover, but to provide context you'd have to go into details about all the inter-crossing characters (who can get fairly obscure). Plus... it's not like the comics are going to STOP producing history.

This is the problem with super hero worlds. People are so easy to use violence to get what they want instead of talk it out. Everyone tends to go for the punch first talk later route. I feel so bad for the insurance companies in both Marvel and DC universe. 😂😂😂

I really enjoyed this. A Steve Rogers that fully embraced the whole Hydra concept. I thought Marvel might do more with him post Secret Empire. I felt they could have gotten more mileage out of the character. But after Reading Cap #8 I guess not.

They were still heavy ingrain with the Nazi’s, they were funded by them, many of its leaders and higher ups were Nazi’s themselves, they employed Nazi’s tactics (including making concentration camps with the Inhumans), and there most common leader the Red Skull was an absolute Nazi and was basically the right hand man to Hitler. Even if they existed before the Nazi party in and out of universe, you can’t pretend they weren’t heavily influenced by them.
