This video has single handedly made me feel a lot better than my therapist ever did . I'm not even joking.

Hi! I am a recent graduate and I've really been struggling. I am finally realizing that my greatest strength and interest is in creature design & illustration. This video really helps me and gives me hope and direction. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I absolutely love drawing creatures and monsters, especially the horror vibe ones and seeing how easy it is for character artists to get jobs have discouraged me a bit but! I always felt like if I just keep doing what I love, good things will happen slowly, and it did, got a gig with Chaosium Inc.
    Now
after having a month of workshops with you i know much better what to have in my portfolio and how to approach it. So thank you for that and for this video as well. Its nice to see what professionals have gone through and that its not a easy walk always. Especially refreshing to hear that from someone who also does creatures and monsters

Thank you so much for this. This is exactly what I needed to hear. Been working towards creature design for years, but just recently really increased my efforts trying to get a full time job in the industry (and probably have been too focused on "just getting the job"). Been super discouraged lately, but still working at it. It's good to hear to just keep doing what you love. No matter how slow the process may be, good things will happen.
Hope to one day participate in one of your workshops! Thank you again for this video!

Thank you, Tony. It's not easy but when you focus on what area you really love within concept art, you get better at that skill and studios notice. Keep going!

That's the key-sticking with it. Just make sure that you surround yourself with people who are good at what they do or hold the positions that you ultimately want. This could be Facebook groups, Discords, etc. Never take a critique personally and you will excel so much faster.
